Good video, but you're sleeping on the story missions. The "trace of metal" mission literally ends with giving you two AI companions that help in Combat. Also, you can feed and tame animals on the planets, catch and breed them from eggs like Pokémon and some of them can also help you in combat

I picked it up again a couple of weeks ago and have put it 25 hours. Wow worlds and the last bunch of updates i hadnt played have added so much!!! I am loving it

Base building, freighters, all sorts of ships to collect. Id never done an expedition before. Really enjoying it, up to 75 hours now.
My main critique about the game is that it gives an empty feeling when you start as a new player. That I think could be easily improved if they gave you one companion or voice in the beginning, or just some main NPC who is interweived into the tutorial with voice lines. I think that would give every other part of the game more meaning and make it feel meaningful, instead of empty, just completing tasks and running around. It only captivates when you make it pass the intro stage and it becomes an absolutely beautiful sandbox experience.

I love the prospect of the bubbles not being a naturally occurring phenomenon, but the result of a single bubble blowing deviant loose somewhere on the planet!
Would appear by chance I jumped into NMS at the perfect time. I'm just about a week into my run after owning the game for about 2 years after getting it in a sale, only now do I find myself with the time to try it!
I wouldn't say perfect time... Honestly the first year was bad. After the first year its been a good game and it's steadily improved. So basically it's been the perfect time for a long time! Because no matter when you join they just impliemented a fantastic change with another postivie change on the horizon. This game went from disaster to being a lesson on what a developer can do when they care about a product and don't give up...and a fan base who didn't give up. No need for No Mans Sky 2. Just continue making this game better into forever.
I've been on the verge of buying this for a long time, but just wasn't able to bring myself to do it. This video has me convinced that it's time, thank you!
You can’t compare no mans sky and starfield. No Mans Sky is a masterpiece and starfield is a shit sandwich. I don’t bring my dogs feces into a burger joint and compare them
They still haven't added a purpose. It's a collecting game for the sake of collecting, Building for the sake of just building, flying around for the sake of just flying around. It seriously needs substance. That's the only thing none of the updates has added
It's not perfect. They added more stuff and made it look better. More features is not what's missing. The problem is it's a tedious grind with a clunky interface and there isn't really an engaging story to keep you going beyond the endless sandbox of randomly generated planets and upgrades..... mine, refine, build, repair or follow a convoluted quest sequence of go here then, go there, get this resource, etc. There is an endless process of learning a language one word at a time, as if a whole garbage can sized contraption's only function is to remember ONE WORD. This could have engaging potential if learning the language lead to being able to talk to interesting characters or reading about the history and mysteries of the universe, but no it's just used to get free stuff from NPCs that just stand there with no purpose in life but give you random stuff if they like you. The story-lines it has are mostly dry and functional, not engaging.
See you in 10 more years. It feels like they're adding more breadth than width, the game being a sand box. By trying to appeal to as many players as possible, they sacrifice depth.
I'm downloading the game right now, interested to see how it will go I see a lot of complaints about not much to do other than base building and grinding but I like that stuff. I've spent many hours playing Stranded Deep, Ark and Subnautica so I'm hoping to like this one
@@__Leland__ Good so far, I need to figure out the mapping a bit more, like how to get to certain objectives but I'm enjoying it so far and have made out of the first solar system so I'm just starting to figure out what the game wants me to do to progress

I'm new.. What do you DO in NMS ? is there role playing? is there a market place, or complex manufacturing, or pirating off other races to profit? I have no idea now, other than you run around pretty planets.. Is there some review showing what the game is about?
@@platiusmango7075 at its core it’s an exploration game with building mechanics. Yes there is light shooting in your ship and what not but once again this is mainly an exploration game. You fly. You find cool things. You build bases near cool things. You keep flying to discovery the next place. That’s no man’s sky in a nutshell. It’s not an rpg or a combat sim. You mine things so you can build things you need to keep exploring. So an aimless game like that isn’t for everyone. But it really is fantastic the universe they’ve built
The only thing I wish was different was your squadron, fleet and freighter defense AI. They can’t hit anything and are mostly useless. Really adds to the “you’re alone” feeling even with being the leader of an interstellar megalopolis.
Omfg finally I love your mind stating (sorry forgot exactly what you said and on lunch break so I'll make this quick) but "how far no mans sky has come AND how far it has to go. I had a crazy PVP battle last night till date. Some strange, experienced player was coming in for a landing above. I attacked him because I was afraid, and it was him and his mech fighting against me, chasing me down while I was making a maze underground to get away. He hunted me and blew holes through my maze, and it was on. We were flying around underground like Dragon ball z, boosting in the air while shooting beams and lasers at each other. I lost the fight and he destroyed my ship. I had to run and swim 4 hours, being trapped with barely any healing resources to get back to a someone's base where I knew had public vehicles. I used a vehicle to hover to another base 20 minutes away that had a teleporter. I then teleported back to my base on another planet (a snowy planet) and used my refiner to repair my ship. I'm 4 days into No Mans Sky. I think there needs to be a hunt mode activator and we need proximity chat. I play NMS in VR.
Difference is Starfield launched with barren worlds but 80 hours of quests and some really nice, pretty well polished... Not to bash NMS, tho, game is impressive in scope for such a (then) small team and evolved greatly into an amazing game.
Thank you for coming back to NMS. It really is something special and I can't wait for the second half of this update. As for losing live support NMS got this graphic update from the light no fire development. I imagine both games share fundamental software where both benefit from further updates. I'm hoping the engine for world diversity in light no fire will touch NMS too.
This is a very good point! Perhaps we would lose big content updates, but would retain engine upgrades. With a big player base I do believe they'll keep bringing content...just not in the same quantities as we get it currently!
If anyone remembers spore galactic adventures?? You could create your own custom missions that other players could find in their game randomly. The game had light NPC scripting and dialogue choices n stuff with triggers and props it was so cool! If a NMS could implement creating a mission area the same way that you create bases for players to discover, it would give infinite replayability to the game and people could make some really sick regional specific story lines that only take place in that part of the galaxy on those planets. Imagine a specific mission someone makes on one planet is so ground breaking people go searching for it
This was great, though I think you missed a fairly massive positive which is the VR mode. It’s now fully realized and quite wonderful. Makes it one of the more complete VR games to have been released and underwater exploring and building in VR is lovely. The only thing that blows is the vehicle controls, I wish they would allow more customization there. Very impressed with this game
You are absolutely right! It is slightly unheard of that a full AAA console/PC experience is available with all the same content in VR! Seriously underrated purely based on that imo
Friendly Heads Up: Dog fighting doesn't work in star field. Regardless of dodging or not moving at all, you will always take 3-6 hits. No fun in that play style, once you see it for yourself.
AS a new player I thought it was quite immersion breaking after 8 years that every space station was the same inside regardless of faction / location, same with out buildings all having the same layout, and every crashed freighter too. Then after you witness the anomaly , or just the general power of the procedural engine for the planets you wonder why they couldn't do more of that. but apart from that I have been wowed pretty much everywhere else.
I had been eyeing this game since it was announced. Almost bought it multiple times, but didn't... Until the Worlds Part 1 update. My goodness, this game is amazing. I've only had it for a month now, but I've already put over 100 hours into it. My only real complaint is the inventory management. It sucks sooooo much.... haha. If they could improve that somehow, I'd be a happy camper. Overall though, this game is an easy 10/10 for me. Can't wait to see what HG does with Light No Fire!
First-day player, stopped many times, one hiatus lasting about two and a half year when the Expeditions started, because the game's FPS went horrendously low (making it unplayable) - tried again every time a, Expedition started (same frustating result) then the game started working again The World 1st Part update was amazing, waiting for the 2nd part whenever it comes
As a PC gamer coming from wing commander, privateer, and star citizen - this is an awesome game. The mechanics work and it’s FUN to explore. The cartoonish colors do make it look stupid, but this is what we wanted star citizen to have. An actual space exploration game that works. 100% it’s nowhere near star citizen depth and art, but it fills the gap between crazy awesome tech demo and enjoyable game play. My only complaint is the art direction. If it was darker and grittier a lot more sci-fi fans would be on board.
There are energy shields, cloaking devices and even "grenade launcher" secondary attachments you can put on any multitool. These are not passive bonuses but active devices that provide alternatives to combat.
The animation itself needs to be fixed. Holding a weapon clearly mean to be held two-handed like a rifle just down by your side like a pistol you’re hip firing is jarring. Some type of ADS would also be welcome
i really hope in the future they would add civilizations to be generated on some planets that are not within reach of the sentinels. With complete quest lines, lores, cultures, npcs. it would completely up the game to a whole new level.
the one thing this game absolutely needs is planatary destruction. Asteroids hitting them and turning them into wastelands, weapons powerful enough to destroy an entire planet in one blast such as the death star. It'd be amazing.
Got this game a while back but I didn’t play it too much, as I didn’t have anyone to play it with then. Can someone explain to me how multiplayer works in this game (at 3:08 it says you can seamlessly transition from single player to multiplayer, so is it theoretically possible to ever run into a planet inhabited by multiple players?)
I bought this game on sale - 60% off thought why not buy it cheap... and wow i am amazed how great this game is with the graphics and framerate. There is so much to do and its online! Never knew I would see other players . 100% recommend
Still some glitches that need to get fixed, like the super slow refiners and items dissappearing in refiners, enemy ships flying through the freighters, inability to land on much smooth terrain, too difficult salvaged frigate modules forcing cheats (yes you do cheat, don't lie to me!), scanners that don't work, bases, communications modules and save modules that don't show up, terrible click building physics, greater incentive for base building, not enough useful Quicksilver items, saveable note field for space stations visited. Still, by far the best game out there.
Are planets now actually uninhabited or does there just happen to be stations and stuff everywhere as that kind of killed the feeling of exploring the unknown for me.
The game looks BEAUTIFUL in a lot of aspects, but I still wait for it's combat to get just a bit better before picking it up for myself. I play on a friend's PC from time to time whenever i visit, but this game really has been polished
how high is the learning curve? Are there like 100 different mechanics to learn? I don't mind a steeping learning curve, but I don't want to take out a collage loan to take a course in No Man Sky Basics.
It's definitely steep and even 30hrs in you may be googling stuff quite often. Depends how much you want to get out of the game though - the more you explore and work it out, the better it gets! Have a look at my beginners guide to guage the early game learning curve: ua-cam.com/video/phQr4xSAsUA/v-deo.html I'd imagine it depends on what other games you play, though. I see comments from some players that the curve is just too steep - so it depends where your expectations are!
The game looks amazing. I just wish that it had more depth like Morrowind or Skyrim. I am looking forward to the day that they turn the game into a full RPG with quest lines, full dialog options, faction quests, consequences, etc. Add in full speech capabilities implementing A.I. with companions and 1,000's of interactive NPC's. Give me a space opera on steroids, a.l.a. Knights of the Old Republic, Rogue Trader, or Mass Effect, and I will never leave that universe. That game would put Starfield and even Star Citizen to shame. 😁👍
Bethesda magic isn't with bethesda anymore buddy, if you want a game with deep rpg, dialogues and great characters the game you want is Cyberpunk or the witcher 3 But back to NMS, the only problem the game has in the story department is the presentation... Presentation of the story in NMS is almost inexistent. Characters also lack personality i mean, you can clearly notice the difference between the characters but it seems like everyone is getting along just fine and the only villain in the game is actually tragedy itself. Atlas is a mysterious and incomprehensible entity, the sentinels that serve Atlas are just some sort of space police, depending on what you do and where you are they won't even attack you. Pirates are just pests, they are the only real evil folks in the. Everything else is simply nice people. the folks from the anomaly are just nice folks, the factions have their peculiarities and even their sins, but overall are just people. NMS is missing a more simple villain, some antagonist that the player should struggle. Also the game does have companions, not much and the variety isn't great but you have the small and talkative reprogrammed sentinel Lailaps and the mech who doesn't talk so much but will greatly help you while battling. I think this characters should be given more personality, and also NMS surelly need more companions and not just machines.
@@ChronoMune heres a tip... Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 were made by Bioware, so Larian now has the old BIOWARE magic. Also, TW3, may be an old game by now, but it's still is a game that has being updated, just last year it got a next gen update that improve the graphics of TW3.

This is a troll? I mean... I can sense your passion for gaming. That's awesome. But honestly saying a game would be neat 'if it added every single feature in any game that it doesn't have' sounds a bit crazy and troll'ish. i mean. i want the perfect game too. Maybe one day we'll get it....Hell maybe No Man's Sky will turn into that game. But it's a lot to ask. i too want a fully developed 1 to 1 scale galaxy where every planet is individually coded to evolve life randomly to fit specific neitches in that unique planets environment...and environment that will change over time as planets move realisitically through space, experience real weather and cosmic events, complete with advanced life developing where you can meet aliens with their own unique persoanlities to where if you want you can hang up your space ship, pick a backwater world and become a marketing agent, selling advertisement space on a pirate radio frequencey on the second moon of the 5th planet of the WhatTheHellAmITalkingAbout system to where eventually I can implement a communist revolution where i turn that second moon into a soviet dystopia with me as it's authortarian ruler everntually controlling a space fleet of 1 million ships where I will invade the galaxy in my attempts to eventually convert or wipe all out all sentient life...and once io do that...i'll go meta and try to hack the source code and then i will prove to all the AI sentient life in the game that they're actually part of the matrix which will cause mass hysteria in the game world......
There is lot has been changed in no man's sky Even the star fighters where you can strip them down and build a new type of craft I would like to see frigates I like to see there get stripped down and build a new type of craft as well
It’s filled with a lot. I just want a purpose and a more interactive universe. I want bounty hunter missions and smuggling etc. I know they have added some of that but it’s not clear cut. Also better UI for traveling as well and going to previous planets. But tbh I think LNF is going to be the game that hits the spot. NMS is great for a space fan like me to play a couple of hours for fantasizing. But it’s not on the scale and depth I want like Star Citizen or even Star Field. Plus the universe is a bit weird with no cities and history that’s clear. Hope LNF does that better with it being on one planet.
Its absolutely incredible. But after building 10 bases there is very little to do. The missions are okay but a bit repetitive. Fetchit missions. But this can be fixed...
7:45 very wrong. The story was the reason a lot of us OGs played this game and got so attached during the dark days of NMS. The story is a top tier one imo
I think it would be cool if they gave us the ability to hire mercenaries and build a small army or attack squad so that we could have epic battles on the ground as a counterpart to the ones we can have in ship combat.
I have a feeling Xbox might still be behind on updates...or perhaps it's better optimised on PS5. Xbox is notorious for having stability problems with NMS!
The fact that you have a giant mothership and decorate with TONS of stuff is just amazing. No other game lets you do this. X4 has good ships but the interiors suck, and there's no planetary gameplay at all.
Some kind of raid with different enemy types. Outside of the sentinels there’s not really anything else to fight. The bugs that hop out of eggs need more variations maybe some big boss versions. Would also be nice if you could fight with the big death worms instead of them just being a visual effect.
I wonder if they fixed the optimization, since Waypoint. My rig should've been able to easily run it above a constant 60FPS, if not twice that. But, all I got was an average of 30 or 40, that dipped the more stuff there was to render. The only places where I could get a smooth FPS was on barren moons. Speaking of moons and orbits, how difficult would it be for them, at this point, to create systems with properly orbiting planets AROUND a star? 'Cause that's not a huge annoyance, but it does bug me to see it being so unrealistic.
all of this the game tells you. The fist 100 hours of gameplay is basically a massive tutorial. And at the same time you are nothing "supposed" to do, since you can do whatever you want.
Well presented - love the Starfield bashing intertwined - unfortunately the internets just isn't big enough for all of the deserved criticism it deserves. No Man's Sky on the other hand...accolades as many as stars in the sky.
@@AverageGameReviews and even shuttles just custom ships in general and exo crafts im pretty sure people would use them more if you could mod more and get more slots. Those things have sooooo much potential.
In my opinion this game was more than worth the asking cost in 2018. Since then its gotten dozens of new updates. FFS, since this video came out, they added proper fishing and new bio hazards! If you were even remotely disappointed in Starfield than try NMS because its what starfield wishes it would be.
ye the game is pretty impressive, but without combat or a good incentive to explore planets or to even just build bases, I get bored of it very quickly every time :c But I do come back to it from time to time, fire up a new playthrough and hope I find something that keeps me in. That's usually hunting for money and finding a nice ship :D
I’ve been watching the game since launch, crazy to see it go from nothing to something. It’s on sale heavy right now and I kinda want it, but I’m stuck between Helldivers or life of P and No man sky

I bought this game as soon as it came out on switch...I also have an Xbox series X....Today, this is by far one of the best "pick me up and do anything" type of game. If you enjoy playing a video game at your own pace, this is for you.
I was thinking of trying to buy this game but then something got me in doubt because all I see in that video we just running around and flying around.. what exactly are we doing in that game other than exploring planets, building ship, and collecting materials.. like what is the end goal in that game? does the game have a main quest or even a voice acting?
I picked this Game up a year or 2 ago and played it and I enjoyed trying to get better ships in game but here's the problem, when I got those nice rare ships I wanted, I found myself not really interested in anything else and got bored super quick, I traveled to many planets only to notice that they were all basically the same, it got very repetitive for me, i haven't played it in a good while though and I've only started to look at it again bc of updates, it really does have the potential to be a great game, I just haven't started again bc I'm afraid of the planets being super repetitive again, only players who have recently played could speak on that right now
@@solidrockofjesuschristmini2423 That's what I thought too.. hopefully the devs keep improving the game until they drop massive update where we could maybe colonize every planet and build our own galactic empire and become a leader, then we can raid npc planets and take over their planet or we could form a diplomatic approach to make them our allies maybe haha.. I think that would make the game much more fun and won't make us bored pretty quick
Someone seems to be experiencing Starfield Derangement Syndrome (SDS). I want to avoid biased individuals posing as "legitimate reviewers." Sure, you might find support among other SDS sufferers, but in the long run, this will only harm your perspective. It's essential to strive for objectivity. Personally, I found Starfield much more enjoyable than NMS. Both games have their strengths and unique features. Based on your review, I would miss out on playing Starfield or approach it with a predisposed negativity. This doesn’t serve anyone well.
I played that for a week 2wks ago and yes it's better but I ended up getting bored of the repetitive gameplay, everywhere looks different but you still do the same stuff, there's only so much base building you can do before that becomes boring, I put it down for less repetitive games
I bought it at launch and yes... it was hot trash.... I could not forgive Hello Games. Today, I gave it a shot one more time after watching tons of NMS videos.... after 30+hours replaying it.... I can definitely say they have redeemed themselves.
I love this game. I want to play this game. My problem is this, no matter what I do, I cannot get the Sentinels to stop chasing me once they are pissed at me. I have watched several youtube videos but nothing has worked. I own this game on 3 different systems. I really do love this game.

I'm looking forward to Light No Fire. Hopefully they take what they learned for NMS and apply it on the first go round.
I'm pretty sure these updates are coming from light no fires.
Yes Light No Fire looks amazing. Need more info. Hope it's not years away. :/
i bet these gamers today just immediately get bored with it, and will have all the needed changes ready. lol
This game in VR is kind of insane. The flying was especially intense. Too bad my Rift S got bricked by an update.

VR implementation is really bad. There is no room scale walking around. There is no hotas implementation. Zero stars.

I don’t bring my dogs feces into a burger joint and compare them
HEY DONT CALL STARFIELD SH1T! Feces are extremely useful as fertilizers

Star who??🤔
starfield is alright, it scratches the bethesda itch for me. no mans sky just spoils us with minimal loading screens lol
I lol'd at this, making me want to give it a try after being a little disappointed at Starfield.
They still haven't added a purpose. It's a collecting game for the sake of collecting, Building for the sake of just building, flying around for the sake of just flying around. It seriously needs substance. That's the only thing none of the updates has added
That's what a sandbox game is dummy.
Lowkey Just buzzkilled my interest in trying the game😭
@@choccymilk666it’s still an amazing game to relax and play. I’d deff still give it a try
The whole idea is that the game is what YOU want ut to be.
It's a sandbox game ffs.
Just downloaded this game 2 days ago and I am ADDICTED. I haven't felt like this about a video game in over 10 years.
By trying to appeal to as many players as possible, they sacrifice depth.
sounds like minecraft
Imagine playing a game that simply won't stop getting better 🥺...

Worth giving it a chance! Get through the early game of trying to understand what the f* is going on, and this game is seriously good!

I'm new.. What do you DO in NMS ? is there role playing? is there a market place, or complex manufacturing, or pirating off other races to profit? I have no idea now, other than you run around pretty planets.. Is there some review showing what the game is about?
👉👉ua-cam.com/video/n-i66DpSnIM/v-deo.html

@@walkergurr6714 Glad you agree with my view of the game!!
It's a masterpiece...but it's not finished.
7:35 grenades shields and companions are all things in the game my guy! do love the vid still though just had to point it out lol
“Bruh 10 years later this game is so much hecking fun!”
Imagine a specific mission someone makes on one planet is so ground breaking people go searching for it
The comparison to starfield is honestly hilarious
Question from a noob. Do you collect things on your exploring? Like, items that only come from a specific planet?
There are tons of things to collect and rare ships.
Friendly Heads Up:
Dog fighting doesn't work in star field. Regardless of dodging or not moving at all, you will always take
3-6 hits. No fun in that play style, once you see it for yourself.
Space combat in Starfield is slow buddy, true that combat in NMS isn't exactly great, but it is better than Starfield.
Great review! Thanks!
I just bought the game. Im very glad.
I haven't played it since I got it years ago, this recent 5.0 update has given me the desire to take another look 👍
NMS and Cyberpunk gotta be the biggest oomebacks in video game history wtf
I bought cp2077 2 weeks ago and it's been really amazing... I didn't touch it for so long because of the issues at launch...
Its not perfect until it has better combat and enemy variety. Everything else is a masterpiece.
Agreed.
I just picked it back up after a year away, a lot has changed!
Great review.
First-day player, stopped many times, one hiatus lasting about two and a half year when the Expeditions started, because the game's FPS went horrendously low (making it unplayable) - tried again every time a, Expedition started (same frustating result) then the game started working again
The World 1st Part update was amazing, waiting for the 2nd part whenever it comes
I think the next thing they should do is add random Burger Kings about
Great idea even better Walmarts
Just restarted, and it’s a blast! Omg there’s so much to I could play 70 hours in a row and not even notice.. good job HG. ✌️
the one thing this game absolutely needs is planatary destruction.
I want to buy it but the fact that it doesn't have an entertaining combat puts me off. Do you know if it will be updated in the future?
Have a look at my beginners guide to guage the early game learning curve: ua-cam.com/video/phQr4xSAsUA/v-deo.html
I'd imagine it depends on what other games you play, though.
Bethesda magic isn't with bethesda anymore buddy, if you want a game with deep rpg, dialogues and great characters the game you want is Cyberpunk or the witcher 3
But back to NMS, the only problem the game has in the story department is the presentation...

There is lot has been changed in no man's sky
Even the star fighters where you can strip them down and build a new type of craft
I would like to see frigates I like to see there get stripped down and build a new type of craft as well
It’s filled with a lot.
Also the ability to ADS ‼️
I have it on PS5 & XSX, but it looks stunning on the PS. Am it the only one having this difference?
@@Ethdawg Agreed!!
How do you find the ship? What are you supposed to do?Where are you supposed to go?
all of this the game tells you. The fist 100 hours of gameplay is basically a massive tutorial. And at the same time you are nothing "supposed" to do, since you can do whatever you want.
Follow the tutorial and everything will be clear to you. The game is overwhelming but not complex.
Well presented - love the Starfield bashing intertwined - unfortunately the internets just isn't big enough for all of the deserved criticism it deserves.
No Man's Sky on the other hand...accolades as many as stars in the sky.

In my opinion this game was more than worth the asking cost in 2018. Since then its gotten dozens of new updates. FFS, since this video came out, they added proper fishing and new bio hazards! If you were even remotely disappointed in Starfield than try NMS because its what starfield wishes it would be.
honestly I would be very happy with new structures and little outpost cities with vendors and stuff
ye the game is pretty impressive, but without combat or a good incentive to explore planets or to even just build bases, I get bored of it very quickly every time :c But I do come back to it from time to time, fire up a new playthrough and hope I find something that keeps me in. That's usually hunting for money and finding a nice ship :D
I’ve been watching the game since launch, crazy to see it go from nothing to something. It’s on sale heavy right now and I kinda want it, but I’m stuck between Helldivers or life of P and No man sky

So the main-focus of the game is still exploration and farming, isn't it?
There's not a big (singleplayer) Story, Quests etc. or anything going on?
Yes, most of your time is spent exploring! There are storylines to follow but they are not hugely involved.

Personally, I found Starfield much more enjoyable than NMS. Both games have their strengths and unique features. Based on your review, I would miss out on playing Starfield or approach it with a predisposed negativity. This doesn’t serve anyone well.

I might have to pick up no man’s sky now
I played that for a week 2wks ago and yes it's better but I ended up getting bored of the repetitive gameplay, everywhere looks different but you still do the same stuff, there's only so much base building you can do before that becomes boring, I put it down for less repetitive games

The base starship IS actually stronger than an A class sentinel interceptor without Any/ minimal upgrades to the photon/ sentinel cannon
