    I should have learned Apache Tears before visiting Phoenix two weeks ago and then I could take my girl to have an unforgettable mining experience. Thanks for sharing!😍

    My Hometown Superior Arizona! We used to fill up 5 gallons buckets as kids and trade to a local for ice cream money 😊 fond memories. We used to find pieces the size of baseballs. I lovey Hometown. If you are ever back in the area… I know some great spots 😉 been hounding for many moons there 😊 🫶🏼✌🏼

      Thank you! Yes, I like how its shaded but still open-air. I have done some spelunking in underground mines, it is a little nerve racking for sure!

    Cool video. Friendly suggestion: don't ever hold your phone in vertical format for video. Get a GoPro as soon as possible. Looking forward to your next video! Wish I was out there rockhounding with you.

      So I have been debating vertical vs horizontal. You don't think vertical ever? Does it retract from the video? I like to do vertical so I have some content for making shorts, but also some shots seem to fit better as vertical. And thank you! Its tons of fun.

      @@RusticSkills definitely vertical for shorts and horizontal for regular videos. I know it's more time consuming to shoot content twice for both formats though. I'm sure you'll find a rhythm.

      @@Thomas-jq2im I actually set up a rig on my tripod that mounts my phone and gopro so now I can capture it both ways!

    WARNING for anybody that goes you are trespassing there is a fence that blocks it off it does have barbed wire on top but there is a hole on the side of the fence you can slip through

    • @RusticSkills
      @RusticSkills  6 місяців тому

      You are absolutely right, the main dig spot is behind a fence that you go through, but if you don't feel comfortable doing that you can dig anywhere in the vicinity and find Apache Tears!
