Join us on an Arizona rockhounding and exploration adventure as we delve into old abandoned mines in search of minerals, gemstones, and old artifacts.
The Dragoon Mountains, named after the 3rd U.S. Cavalry Dragoons who battled the Chiricahua during the Apache Wars, are rugged with rock wall faces and many abandoned mines.
Miners were chasing copper, gold, silver and lead, along with gemstones such as garnet and epidote.
Our adventure begins with a trek along the old mining roads, leading us to an abandoned mining complex.
As we navigate through the labyrinth of tunnels, we’ll be on the lookout for gemstones and minerals, remnants of the mine’s prosperous past. The thrill of discovery is enhanced by the natural beauty of the Dragoon Mountains, making this an adventure you won’t want to miss!
So, gear up and join us as we explore the hidden treasures of the Dragoon Mountains, unearthing the secrets of its old mines and experiencing the thrill of rockhounding and exploration.

Lol I know right, probably should've turned around at the first load of 💩 the carcass was the defining moment! There was also a pretty freshly eaten rib cage outside the cave. Lots of warning signs!

I don't know sis, I think I'll wait on the surface. I wouldn't want to meet Chupacabra in his hiddy hole, lol.

It was probably a chupacabra being this close to Mexico!
