I intalled a inline on my rsx, i have a brake booster also,it lock up the back tires but i thought it would sling shot out .it only moves about 1 inch and its already locking rear tire its strange?any reason why the ebrak eis so stiff? Any info is appreciated
@@Officer_Dan how long would a long period of time be? haha. like overnight? i too very much want this setup, but still want to retain parking ability. what exactly is bad about keeping pressure on the hydraulic line?
It's not bad for it, the hydraulic fluid loses pressure over time. Over night is fine, but leave it a few weeks on a steep hill and it may slowly end up at the bottom haha.
Hey i have a question not related to this but you seem like a pro at this kind of stuff. Anyways. My handbrake is too stiff. Like way too stiff i can barely lift it to 5 clicks. And its like 9 clicks max. How do i fix this and make it lighter like any new car ?
Sorry I just saw this! Seems like you can take the console apart and loosen up the nut holding the cable a few turns. That should help a ton, but you've probably already fixed it by now!
It depends on the master really. If you use an inline setup, the line goes in the in and out the out. If it's a separate caliper system, one line goes to the rears then splits to each caliper.
With this setup it’s optional. Removing the stock ebrake lines (I’ll use my e46 for example) would disable the brake shoes inside the rotor so you would need to either tie into your stock calipers (tons of videos for that) or buy a dual caliper setup
holy shit this was actually the best tutorial ive ever watched. 10/10 more people need to be like this
Thanks dude. Means the world
Was not expecting a hydro install tutorial to be one of the funniest videos I've ever seen
Thanks man. It's hard to keep people entertained in a how to, so we do our best!
Please never remove this video lol, Ill need it to install one discreetly in my e46. But I want it to still lock so this is perfect for me.
You got it man
holy shit i need one in my e46 too
Did you ever install a discreet hydro in your E46?? :)
I don't even own an S, this video has all the right vibes! Need more of this in the car community.
Thats all we can ask for! We work hard af on these vids to be quick and to the point!
I’m in tears, that erotic removal step came out of nowhere and now I’ve got to watch it all again 😭
Patented Officer Dan lol
This was so well done, hah. Great humor while being informative.

Once again the funniest tutorials ever!!!! lol
Australlia thanks you
Will it hold as a handbrake for long hours
I would probably not do longer than a few hours
Hi. Where to connect that hydraulic hose/cable?
Is there enough leverage or is it a stiff pull?
I have a manual transmission, can this still park? If so how does it work? If not is there any other way I can park it?
Yes you can, but not recommended for long periods of time! As long as you have a drift button you can use it like a normal parking brake

Put it in gear lol
Can you do this with the trans inside the kid
Why are you putting the trans in the kid? That may hurt. I'm honestly not sure what you are asking here, can you clarify?
Do you supply the cable clamp/rose joint part separately? I can’t seem to find them for sale anywhere I have looked for them.
Super late response, but hit up sales@gktech.com
@@Officer_Dan thank you!
Has anyone modded the handbrake with an after market one? Like one of the longer ones? Just curious.
I'm almost positive you could, but you don't want too much extra leverage on the cable
Can this be permanently applied like a cable handbreak
Pls reply
This is more of a drift mod than a daily driver one. I wouldn't recommend having this locked overnight, especially if you park on any kind of incline.
@@Officer_Dan man then how am i gonna mount a e brake and a cable break for permanent stopping
@@Officer_Dan but not parking on an incline i have some parking space is it okay
@@Officer_Dan Even if running dual calipers?

Dig the narration!
Not clear on the hydraulic connections part
