Yes!!! This must have been behind the whispers....and the jarl of course. But regardless I think nazeem is in a relationship that is not so much an open relationship as it is more one sided monogamous relationship lmao
On my male redguard character I ended up luring Nazeem behind a building and sneak casting Fury on him to make him hostile to everyone, and then lead him towards the guards, who then killed him. I then used console commands/mods to make Ahlam a follower and marriageable, so now she lives with my character in Breezehome and is much happier now that she has a husband who actually gives a crap about her.
I usually murder him before I get to that part. I started getting more creative with my killing and have killed him with a bucket, by shouting him to a giants camp, and poisoning him with a frenzy poison so that the guards would kill him.
@@trashboy1420 I totally would do that.... but I roleplay too many "good" characters for that. But when I don't, I usually play a morally grey vampire that drains him dry out of annoyance.
As crazy as it sounds, I thought that Nazeem being the Jarl's "advisor" was actually akin to a spouse cheating and claiming they had a "personal trainer." Except, somehow, Nazeem and Balgruuf were actually able to pull off the act. Technically, this could go along with his wife cheating as well, but that's all just a random thought.
Considering how much Nazeem seems to enjoy the Jarl’s backside, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think he’s into tall dark and handsome men. Edit: Damn it, everyone already thought of this

What kind of mods has the dragon born been using?!?
"Well, allow me to introduce you to acolyte Jenssen. He's a tall, handsome, luscious-- no wait, get a hold of yourself, Nate." We're not judging, Nate. ;)
Don't be ashamed, Nate. Even a man can be overwhelmed by the charms of another. Some men just have that effect on you. Like me! My charms knows no bounds, and no boundaries. ;)
I always assumed Nazeem was being called in to advise Balgruuf regularly due to the war and would originally have stayed in his farm, but thanks to the events of the game he's staying in a tavern to be closer to the Jarl.
I personally have my own theory about this perplexing partnership. While Nazeem loves to tell us he's rich the farm where he supposedly gets all of his money from is no larger than the others and has but a single worker, indicating that its not that profitable or at least isnt the main source of cash. Personally i think Ahlam is the bread winner since in our world at least healers did earn a good amount of coin. While this may be enough for a decent house Nazeem very much comes off as someone who spends money as soon as they get it. This explains why he has "fine" clothes but refuses to purchase anything from the townspeople since he has spent the couples money on luxuries. As for him being an advisor to the jarl, that too seems to be a farse, since balgruuf nor anyone but nazeem collaborates the story. His wife does state that Nazeem has his head up the jarls ass but this may not mean he's an advisor, rather a parasite trying to get into high society. After all would you consider the adoring fan from oblivion your friend or even an actual companion? That leads me back to Ahlam, if we are to believe my theory then that leaves Ahlam working every day to support Nazeems antics to the point where she quite understandably desires an actual connection with someone else.
Oh, it took years, but I earned my way to the top. I own Chillfurrow Farm, you see. Very successful business. Obviously Obviously my wife loves me. Duh
Nazeem might be the most well designed non-interactive NPC in the game. The fact that everyone knows about him and has atleast made their own opinion on him when there's no true reason to even interact with him is incredible.
Let's go meet this Giant I know down by Secunda's Kiss, Nazeem. He wants to tell you about the Moon District, says it is far more fitting for a high and mighty figure of class such as yourself.
I think one time I actually did see him in dragonsreach, but he was sitting at a lonely circular little table in the corner of the room while I was standing at Jarl Ballin's right side Update: I just played skyrim again a few minutes before this edit, and yes, I did in fact see nazeem again in dragonsreach. Its definitely a behavior mod, seeing how there would be no other way.
"It all smells wrong." Well yeah it's been sitting on a table for days and I know damn well this boy doesn't put it away at night because I was trying to steal several necklaces for a quest
"You must look on the bright side - if soldiers storm the city, there's a good chance your husband may get killed." DANICA !! On a related note, I want someone to make a mod where Nazeem does indeed get killed during that part.
"Ulfric Stormcloak murdered the Nazeem with his *voice*. Shouted him apart!" Sounds like something every Dragonborn dreams of doing. Ever wanted to kill someone you hated with your words of blasting fury? Now you can, Dovahkiin. :)
Before mods: "Do you get to the could district very often? Oh, what am I saying - of course you don't. After mods: "No Nazeem, but I DO get to visit your wifes district - if you know what I mean. ;)
My personal theory is that Jenssen was supposed to be the family's personal healer (given their supposed wealth to hire one). In frequenting the manor, I think he and Ahlam were supposed to get a little too close, and have a secret relationship. (Basically the Skyrim version of how Rasputin found his way into the Romanov's family.)
The last time I saw Nazeem was with my character that is a necromage. I killed him and made him my thrall and took him to Solstheim, but "accidentally" lost him somewhere
Occum’s razor; the simple answer is most often the correct answer. Jensen(?) Was most likely meant to be the Housecarl, but like Bethesda did to nazeem and his wife in just sticking them somewhere since they didn’t finish the manor, Jensen was stuck into his place because without the manor, there is no housecarl.
If we're talking dysfunctional relationships, I feel it's worth mentioning Bolli and his wife( I can't remember her name). Those two are about as faithful to each other as Astrid is loyal to the Night Mother.
What if nazeem is saying "do you get to the cloud district very often?" To ask you if you can deliver a letter or maybe something else because skyrim is large and the amount of cut content and quests are larger.
In special edition, after following the stormcloak campaign, you can see him coming up to the new Jarl quite often. But his housecarl gets infront of him and he then walks away. I've yet to hear if they say anything.
Interestingly, if you kill Nazeem (without being detected), there's a possibility that Ahlam will hire thugs to return the favour. In one playthrough I accidentally did just that and wondered why these brickhouses were after me. The reverse is also probably true. I had thought this though: What if they're BOTH getting down with Jenssen and just stay together more as a kind of "marriage of convenience" or polygamous arrangement?
The idea of Nazeem on his hands and knees with a big ol Nord priest giving him the family business makes my dragon born smile so I'm going with that. --Momentai ;3
As a modder/developer myself I find it hard to believe that they just cut the house to save time. More likely, as suggested, there were *some* quests associated with it that were to conflicted to continue with. The development and placement of the house, inside and out, is a simple matter. Therefore I tend to believe that there where other issues as to why that content was cut.
Yes when I re-start the game when I finish every quest then I always steal and sell oops shouldn’t have said that well there’s a good tip XD well I mean take when I’m allowed to do I don’t go to jail
It is Nazeem being unfaithful. He is sleeping with the Jarl, and was probably intended to be the one involved with the acolyte Jensen too. " looking for my husband Nazeem, try the Jarl's backside, that is usually where he stuffs himself these days"

I have indeed seen a lot of people up there eating.

Naazeem kill speedruns?
As crazy as it sounds, I thought that Nazeem being the Jarl's "advisor" was actually akin to a spouse cheating and claiming they had a "personal trainer." Except, somehow, Nazeem and Balgruuf were actually able to pull off the act. Technically, this could go along with his wife cheating as well, but that's all just a random thought.
Considering how much Nazeem seems to enjoy the Jarl’s backside, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think he’s into tall dark and handsome men.
Edit: Damn it, everyone already thought of this
Nazeem: "Do you get to the Cloud District very often?, Oh what am I saying of course you don't"

My personal theory is that Jenssen was supposed to be the family's personal healer (given their supposed wealth to hire one). The more I look into the details of Skyrim, the more I mourn for all the incomplete content we could have but never got with the infinite re-releases.
Her name's nivenor
Bolli wasn't even faithful to his faith with mara

What if nazeem is saying "do you get to the cloud district very often?" To ask you if you can deliver a letter or maybe something else because skyrim is large and the amount of cut content and quests are larger.

"Looking for my husband? Check the jarl's backside. That's where he normally stuffs himself these days." Direct quote from Ahlam.

"how the heck did this guy get a hold of this key?"
*Dovahkiin walks by with the Infinity Keyring*
Nazeem's wife goes to many cloud districts apparently. Let's hope she doesn't encounter a cumulosiphilis.
"Pfft! Who needs her?! She didn't get to the Cloud District very often anyway!"
🤣🤣🤣
"Do you come to my wife often? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you do!"
Even Bethesda killed Nazeem in the Anniversary Edition Trailer
