My advice to everyone is this: If you want to grow big this year, especially in your finances, be willing to take risks. Saving is great, but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldn’t have to worry about saving like you do now. Thanks to Deborah Davis, my portfolio is doing very well and I’m proud of the decisions I made last year.

As long as you have good health, you're ahead of most people. The millions don't mean anything if your health is in shambles. I'm starting to learn now, I won't take things for granted anymore. I've been letting life pass me by and now that I'm having a health issue I wish I did more when I felt good.

I like that he spoke about how a lot of people cant handle the ridicule from friends and family. I've been building multiple saas companies over the past year and so far i've either not finished what I've worked on due to risks I took that didn't work out or they simply failed. Everyone asks me why I keep going when it's clearly not working but I enjoy it and I'm not backing down. Passion can drive a person crazy but if you're passionate about the right thing, hopefully it will eventually work in your favour.

I actually love his philosophy. I've not had his level of success, but I have a very dialed in work life balance. I'm fairly anti-fire. I either work, or spend my time doing something very valuable to me. I don't mind working very hard during the week when I know my afternoons, evenings and weekends are fun and fulfilling. I've spent millions at this point that many people would have saved. But at the end of the day, this is just retirement planning that INCLUDES planning for your current life as well. Too many people are only focused on NOW or LATER.

Choose your own meals at a restaurant, let more things happen that are uncontrolled and out of your comfort zone and you’ll actually get more out of life. Rich people end up stressed and obsessed with optimization

I think mega rich people saying they want to give it all away is the most obnoxious thing ever. It’s just virtue signaling and dishonest.

I am putting this here with the hope to get some device - for the last 10 years, I have followed my passion of being an artist but I am hitting a wall. I'm tired of fighting for menial raises, I would like to get into finance but I wonder if that is worth the change since I am a more creative person. Can someone give me ideas of careers to explore, I need to make more money and I need more options but I just don't know what makes sense. Any advice you guys may have would be so appreciated, because I am willing to work for it but I just don't know where to look or what to try.
Thank you all for the support!

Why are Americans so naive? How in the hell is the one owning 100million a year. Even Warrant Buffet never gets to that figure and that guy is actually working his ass off.

Many thanks for the video. Everybody needs financial freedom. Let this be a thread for some more simple, reproducible approach from anyone who have build wealth. I have saved up $190k to get started.

My success was largely based off of a single, simple approach (portfolio Management) but remember, investing is a journey, not a sprint - take your time, stay patient, and stay focused on your long-term goals.

At the end of the day, there's no one particular way of bridging that gap. but starting to save early and investing in the financial markets can never go wrong. if I were to start over in 2024 with less than $50k I would still use the portfolio management play-book.
