Hell yeah, great video! Wolfmother are one of the most underrated bands ever in my opinion and they just always take me back to my childhood. Lol, Rabea's hair always reminded me of Andrew Stockdale.
Wolfmother's self-titled album is one of my favorites of all time. I remember my dad buying it for us after reading about them in Guitar World magazine when I was 12 years old. Good episode guys!
Suggestions: - Metallica (By Busting) - Primus - Megadeth - Avenged Sevenfold - Nirvana (Busting) - Motörhead (Just for the Rickenbacker) - Bruce Springsteen
I primarily want to see what basses they'd use, and Matt can probably use a PRS for Ler's stuff (Also I'm just stoked they have a new album out, I like how it kinda reminds me of their earlier material even though _Green Naugahyde_ is still a killer album)
Tones were on the money today! Seen Wolfmother in concert twice, once on the Cosmic Egg tour and then recently on the Victorious tour. They absolutely did not disappoint, and neither did Rabea and Matt. Well done guys!
Or u could not learn any theroy play completely by feel the top it off with a lot of drugs and hopefully you'll be on a stage somewhere trying to eat your guitar through a fuzz pedal.
we need some BY busting sound likes more how about Queen - Brian May & John Deacon Muse - Matthew Bellamy & Chris Wolstenholme B.B King Black Sabbath - Tony Iommi & Geezer Butler Oasis - Noel Gallagher & Gem Archer or Paul Arthurs Metallica - James Hetfield & Kirk Hammett Deftones - Stephen Carpenter & Sergio Vega or Chino The Smiths - Johnny Marr Iron Maiden - Dave Murray, Adrian Smith & Steve Harris or Janick Gers Nirvana - Kurt Cobain & Krist Novoselic Slipknot - Jim Root & Mick Thomson Jimi Hendrix Queens Of The Stone Age - Josh Homme & Troy Van Leeuwen U2 - The Edge, Bono & Adam Clayton Stevie Ray Vaughan Cream - Eric Clapton Radiohead - Ed O'brien, Jonny Greenwood & Thom Yorke Gary Clark jr Chickenfoot - Joe Satriani Randy Rhoads Black Stone Cherry - Chris Robertson & Ben Wells Creed/Alterbridge - Mark Tremonti & Myles Kennedy Carlos Santana Biffy Clyro - Simon Neil & James Johnston Black Label Society - Zakk Wylde & Nick Cantanese
How would they do that though, are they going to cover electric guitars only or would they also cover the acoustic guitars also? I would like them to do both
i think that one of the challenging stuff could be post rock bands.. although that rabea has a very unique taste on ambient/post rock sounds.. it could be interesting because the most important question for making a good "wall of sound" is: guitar or effects?? my suggestions would be some of the most famous post rock bands(UK edition): -Bark Psychosis -Talk Talk -Maybeshewill
I don’t know if I should write this here or in all about the bass, but. You should do a bassist sound like... I mean, so many of the sound like you have done have killer bass players...
I'd love to hear a Stevie Ray Vaughan by busting the bank. Maybe you could enlist the help of Mick Taylor who is a big SRV fan and knows a thing or two about spending large sums of money on gear.
Still one of my favourite shows on UA-cam. Great job Matt&Rab on Wolf mother. Maybe I make a good suggestion. Could you do a 'Prodigy' sounds like. Excerpts ' Breathe' Firestarter' 'Voodoo people' 'Their Law" .... Thanks a million. Keep on Rockin Guys🎸
they did both of them already but i wanna see a By busting version of Scott Holiday and Dan Auerbach i love how Scott never reveals what is in the "ZAP!" box but he says you can buy the pedal that's in it but it won't sound the same
Loved Wolfmother back in the day, thanks for doing this vid. Gear geeking: I red an article in their heyday that he used a Gibson ES-335 in the studio and SGs live, because they're so much lighter. So if it's his early SOUND your going after consider a 335. It helped me make my choice to purchase a 335 then, and I still love it now, but I do prefer a heavier guitar.
Great work as always, djentlemen! :) W/O Busting: Prince, Zappa, The Who, The Beatles, Dethklok, Bon Iver/Justin Vernon, Grateful Dead BY Busting: Tom Morello, SRV, SOAD, The Edge, Radiohead
another good vid guys but it is more fun when you spend more time in the shop picking out your gear. Also "sound like James Mankey" (Concrete Blonde) please
How is it possible that there hasn't been a Sound Like the Beatles yet? I know the early stuff uses Rickenbackers which aren't cheap and the later stuff might be too diverse but I'm sure you guys would be able to put together something awesome. Maybe even a two-part episode covering both early and late Beatles.
I bought a POG because of this video. I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do but is so much fun. Tube Screamer as a boost, OpAmp Pumpkin fuzz and into the POG is such a monster tone. Maybe I'll actually learn how to play the guitar instead of buying more gear. On second thoughts, nah!
When you hear more guitar through your sub than through your speakers, you know the tone is THICCCCCC af. Now thats was glorious. (And yeah, it did make me make that face, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGH)
Funny that rabea looks like andrew
slorr55 he looks like rob with an afro
he looks like the lead singer of coheed and cambria
Hell yeah, great video! Wolfmother are one of the most underrated bands ever in my opinion and they just always take me back to my childhood. Lol, Rabea's hair always reminded me of Andrew Stockdale.
holy shit that tone when all the pedals are in is genuinly what ive been looking for wow

Andrew Pappas Primus Gear Rundown showed up in my suggestions when I played this video. Awesome
I primarily want to see what basses they'd use, and Matt can probably use a PRS for Ler's stuff
(Also I'm just stoked they have a new album out, I like how it kinda reminds me of their earlier material even though _Green Naugahyde_ is still a killer album)

Thanks guys. You just got me into this band. I Hadn’t heard of them before. Loving their debut lp.
Queens of the Stone Age by Busting I think that needs a redo, or Metallica by Busting, great episode tho, like always
go to a pawn shop. No Seriously. The only legit new gear you are going to get is out of Troy.
Jimi Hendrix BY BUSTING THE BANK!
Max Fisher still wouldn’t be exact
Or u could not learn any theroy play completely by feel the top it off with a lot of drugs and hopefully you'll be on a stage somewhere trying to eat your guitar through a fuzz pedal.

Finally, one I've been wanting. Satisfied.
Who says you can’t rock with a Vox !!!!! Awesome sounds
Cage the Elephant without busting the Bank, I’ve been asking for like a year!!!
Can you do sounds like Gojira without busting please.
Tom Brinkley Peavey 6505 Mini w/ any guitar with EMGs. Done.
Cheers lad.
dont use EMGs
5150 III mini with joe's signature guitar would be a better bet, they have told in a vid that they use those amps in the practice room
Josue Samaniego - not even close: EVH LBX, Charvel, Jackson Rhoads, Whammy Pedal, Delay, Reverb. Done.
That was fun to watch. Thanks Boys for another excellent video! Now I need to go get a POG. :)
I lost my sovtek big muff to a pawn shop in the 90's and I still miss it hahahaha baby come back!
I love the sound of the POG and the fuzz! that was awesome.

I would like them to do both
i think that one of the challenging stuff could be post rock bands.. although that rabea has a very unique taste on ambient/post rock sounds.. it could be interesting because the most important question for making a good "wall of sound" is: guitar or effects??

-Bark Psychosis
-Talk Talk
-Maybeshewill
Such a killer band, one of the most underrated rock bands from the 2000s
Do Lamb of God, Periphery and Dream Theater
Especially the latter!
Oh hell yeah
It's impossible to do DT without busting the bank... XD
Nice, guys! The Xotic A.C Booster is an underrated pedal in my opinion.
"I'm Rabea, and I'm Matt, and this is Out Of Stock on Andertons TV!"
Oooof! 09.05 sounded like Bea was sneaking a bit of Soundgarden in! My wave!
You nailed this one lads. Great job
I don’t know if I should write this here or in all about the bass, but. You should do a bassist sound like... I mean, so many of the sound like you have done have killer bass players...
Excellent! I love Wolfmother!
would have loved to hear some riffs from New Crown though, thats my favorite album
Awesome as always, I think I requested this a few months ago. Sick, I just picked up some of the Homme rig, about to get the micro Pog now.

I want to say you guys really nailed it the wolfmother sound! With no need of busting a bank!
Cheers!
Proper good this boys, well done
Bea you nailed it Bro. Nice job guys.
I'd love to hear a Stevie Ray Vaughan by busting the bank. Maybe you could enlist the help of Mick Taylor who is a big SRV fan and knows a thing or two about spending large sums of money on gear.

Dimension giving nostalgic vibes.
Sound like MY BLOODY VALENTINE
i thought that said "Bullet For My Valentine" for a moment, now i am sad :(
Great job guys you nailed it!
Wow guys this is one of the closest sounding "Without" videos you've done, good job!
What are the chances you can pan the camera over the amp/pedal settings once an episode so we can see how you achieved your tones?
Still one of my favourite shows on UA-cam. Great job Matt&Rab on Wolf mother. Maybe I make a good suggestion. Could you do a 'Prodigy' sounds like. Excerpts ' Breathe' Firestarter' 'Voodoo people' 'Their Law" ....
Thanks a million. Keep on Rockin Guys🎸
thanks!!! was waiting for this one for so long!

That's crazy! I just recently found Wolfmother and am loving it! You guys should do a Sound Like Rival Sons or The Black Keys soon.

good work guys. Thanks!

Great job guys!
BEST. SOUND. EVER!
Sound like coheed and cambria!
this is the best sounding "without busting the bank" rig so far :^)
Sound like Architects!
Sound like Rory Gallagher ! Do it !
MrShadowofthewind Yes please do this.
I really enjoy these videos guys. Would you be willing to do a "Without..." modeling Brian Setzer's rig?

The riff to White Unicorn there reminds me of the ending to Give a Little Bit by Supertramp!
Please make SOUND LIKE NEW DORJE!!!
Ooo been waiting for this one! XD

Ya'll should do a sound like the the expendables. It'll be a departure from your usual sounds. Might be kind of fun
Wolfmother riffs are so flacking good! URGH! And it sounded pretty spot on, except for the tempo. ;)
good work as always chaps. what about a sounds like the allman brothers without busting .. tonal heaven on a budget ?

By no measure would I consider myself a fan of the band, but I enjoyed this. Thanks guys. PS: Sound like Opeth, please.
Could you do the beatles but split it into:

•Post white album?
Sound like sonic youth
Just thanks !!!
Billy Duffy - The Cult
Yes! Wolfmother🤘
Great sound
Good job as always. The finish of the BLACK SG looks kinda weird
When you hear more guitar through your sub than through your speakers, you know the tone is THICCCCCC af. Now thats was glorious. (And yeah, it did make me make that face, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGH)
Sounds like Meshuggah?
That would be nice :D
