Bon Scott era AC/DC is the BEST!
It is known.
Truth.
💯 Bon Scott made ACDC who they are!
Highway to Hell album ❤️ Bon Scott 🎤👩🎤🎸🎶
I stopped listening to A ca Dacca after Bon’s death, saw the a couple of months before at Manchester Apollo on Highway to Hell tour
Bon Scott was the man!
It's a shame he wasn't here longer. Bon Scott was a real singer. IMO, good lead vocalist , but not a singer.
Still is in my book.
Don't sleep on big brother Malcolm Young laying down that razor-sharp rhythm guitar...
Malcolm was the foundation on which the mighty AC/DC edifice was built!
I totally agree.
Engine that drove the train!
Exactly, Malcom was a real rythm machine. And Phil Rudd is as well underestimated, he might not have comlicated drumming paces, but he was very precise.
Lead guitarist always gets the attention but Malcom is the riff master. He's holding that down while Angus goes off. Newbies just need to learn the difference.
Down Payment Blues guys, Down Payment Blues, more Bon Scott greatness.
Sin City, Problem Child, Ride On, Let There Be Rock, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Jailbreak, Whole Lotta Rosie, High Voltage, TNT, Shot Down In Flames, and Big Balls with Bon Scott on vocals are needed reactions by ACDC!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
HELL🔥🎸🎸🔥🤘😈YES‼️
Down Payment Blues as well, Don't forget that one 😀😀🤘🤘🎸🎸
She's got Balls. One of the greatest riffs.
💯% agree with all those songs, hell yeah 🔥
I’ll take “Riff Raff” every time.
Great quote by Angus Young: “I'm sick to death of people saying we've made 11 albums that sound exactly the same, In fact, we've made 12 albums that sound exactly the same.”😂
I just read your comment LOL.
If it ain't broke.......
@@dapawaz8310 what are you trying to say and whom do you think your saying it to????
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." An old saying, agreed with OP that they have no need to change anything. AC/DC is already perfect.
@@dapawaz8310 yes I know the old saying. But I still don't have any idea why your saying that to me. If you knew how old I am it would blow your mind.
The Bon Scott years are still my favourite ones. I love Brian too.
Bon was a hilarious lyricist. Ive got patches on my patches on my old n
Blue jeans. They used to be blue, they used to be new, they used to be clean.
RIP Malcolm Young, greatest rock rhythm guitarist ever! His riffs and Phil Rudd's steady beats are the driving force behind Angus.
They are the foundations that let Angus free to riff, and Bonn to wail.
Bon Scott's poetry is often overlooked
The headbang; the result of Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams and Malcolm Young. What an unbelievable rhythm section.
True, but Mark Evans played bass on this album.
Ride On is a must yall! It’s a totally different vibe and so bluesy..it’s unreal!
Riff raff, and whole Lotta Rosie need to be in your sights
Bon Scott we salute you... !!! The true voice of AC/DC
Malcolm Young was also a big part of that AC/DC sound!
much of the guitar work in this song is Malcolm
Angus himself once said "the sound is all due to Malcolm"
lol no shit
"Squealer" needs to be reacted to... It's a gem!
Malcolm standing to the right of the drummer and pounding out that rhythm guitar is one of the pillars of heavy rock.
I bet Amber would really like "Ride On"
That's the one that really hits your heart. It's almost like Bon wrote his own eulogy.
This is BON Scott , released in 1977 Ac/DC 🔥!
The Bon Scott era the best indeed, that's why I love the band
Let There Be Rock live at Apollo theater Glasgow 1979 has the best Angus Young guitar solo you'll ever see. Check it out!
1978*
Oh man they have got to check out Let There be Rock one of my faves for sure
At the plate is the one
That whole album is 🔥
R.I.P Bon Scott Australia's bad boy true legend!
Then when you've recovered from Ride On, there's always "Up to my neck in you". Pure rock n roll fire...
Powerage is such a fire album.
I keep waiting for ANYONE to react to Ride On. I haven't seen one yet, but that could be a YT copyright thing.
One of the most fun, tongue in cheek classic songs ever, if "Big Balls" by AC/DC, so give it a try one day!!!!
I 2nd that request!
I have suggested this numerous times 👍
Early AC/DC is raw and powerful. This album opens with a banger, "Go Down", use your gutter mind here lol. Bon was a master poet. Hopefully you'll dive in deep into the early Bon days. She's Got Balls is perhaps one of the most memorable riffs out there that you all will hopefully experience one day.
Amber & Jay please react to "You Shook Me All Night Long" Hard to believe no one has requested that in the 2 years of ya'll reacting to AC/DC
I've requested it a thousand times 😂 no idea how they found this one before it 😂 saying that, what a banger this is
"You Shook Me All Night Long" is one of the most overslick, overplayed, boring songs AC/DC ever recorded. "Bad Boy Boogie" is a way better choice, super kick ass.
@@GradeEcho i have done the same seems to me you have to be a paying patrion ore else nothing happens
@@thomaspagh8988 funnily enough, I am a paying patron and still never get an answer 😂
There’s a reason why “You Shook Me All Night Long” is played so much, and it’s because it’s that good.
Don't forget Malcolm!
Malcolm was the ultimate riff writer....He could take a G...D... and A chords and make a million riffs from them
What a fantastic song!! This whole album, and Powerage, are just brilliant.
Their best. The Greatest songs by them, are on these 2 albums. Whole Lotta Rosie, Overdose, Go Down, Bad Boy Boogie, Let There Be Rock, Sin City, Riff Raff, Down Payment Blues, Kicked In The Teeth and Up To My Neck In You. I prefer Bon Scott. Sorry Brian. AC/DC recorded their best songs with Bon Scott. Period.
C,mon !!!! What about “Gone Shootin “ probably their best Riff
Not doing AC/DC justice without doing Squealer!!! Bon, Mark Evan’s bass line and Angus ripping it up!!!! Beautiful
Angus was doing an interview on the radio. The DJ was giving him grief say " so you now have
8 albums that sound exactly thew same.". Angus replied " we have 8 GOLD albums that sound exactly the same."
If you haven't already listened to it, I'd love to see a reaction to a totally different side of AC/DC - try the song "Ride On". Amazing....
Yall really need to check out the official video for Riff Raff..Angus does a sick solo in that video..
Yes! I have suggested that song several times before!
Malcolm Young is really the driving force of those riffs. Those brothers work together in such a good way.
For me, Let There Be Rock is the best AC/DC album to feature Malcolm Young's rhythm guitar abilities.
Make sure when you get around to "Riff Raff" that you watch their live Performance at the Apollo.
My favourite AC/DC album, harder and heavier than the rest and absolutely ferocious.
You've just reacted to one of the BIG THREE from that album... Bad Boy Boogie, Let There Be Rock and Whole Lotta Rosie are THE HARDEST HITTING SONGS they've ever done. I can't wait for you to get to Whole Lotta Rosie from this album (listen to the album version, not the live version)
I second listening to the album version of Whole Lotta Rosie...
I, for one, also agree
Whole lotta rosie album version is a rocker!
For me overdose is one of the best on that album
Great album
@@nedrini1055Yeah, not forgetting Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be, Dog Eat Dog, the whole album is fire!
Malcolm was the clinical drive behind AC/DC and everything was tight and perfected
Sink the Pink! AC/DC FL(eye) on the wall
Your gonna love "You Shook Me All Night Long"!
I’ve seen AC/DC six times with Bon Scott. The headbang is not really Angus…it is Malcolm who drove the riffs. Angus was the frontman with the solos and brilliant theatrics…
Can never mistake an AC/DC song always gets me fired up 🔥
For a Different AC/DC - "The Razors Edge" and "Big Balls" -
Those two gems are proof that not All AC/DC songs sound the same.
Let There Be Rock .. Their Fucking BEST album .
Hi Jay and Amber, This was released in 1977 and is from their album Let There Be Rock, Angus Young was only 22 years old when this was released 😀😀🤘🤘🎸🎸
RIP Bon Scott 🙏🙏
RIP Malcolm Young 🙏🙏
You guys have to check out Down Payment Blues next by AC/DC 😀😀🤘🤘🎸🎸
Problem Child is another beast like this one, guys!! ❤❤
Jailbreak, live at Donninton 1991, 19 minutes of Angus entertaining the crowd. I think you will Love to check this one.
Malcolm was the driving force of their riffs and rhythms on guitar, while Angus was mostly doing accompaniment, and of course, leads and solos.
Bon had some serious swagger!!!
Great frontman!!!
Greatest riffs. Malcom was the man!! RIP
It's my favorite band to listen to while working out. Great rhythm and tempo!!
Amber and Jay you must listen to AC/DC Overdose
Rock n roll aint noise pollution 🫡🤙
The live version is unbelievable
For those about to rock !
Just imagine a time in the late 70's when you could turn on the radio and hear this song being played on stations like 101 KLOL in Houston. They played the hits, but they also played the deep cuts. Thanks for this reaction.
I'm from Houston. I totally remember 101 KLOL! Sad that there's only one classic rock station in Houston now.
@@patriciamonsivaiz3305 Hello fellow Houstonian. Do you remember the KLOL "head" t-shirts and bumper stickers? They were silver. I think the current format for 101 is Latin Hip-Hop. Where has the time gone?
I do remember that "chrome dome" silver head logo you mentioned. I also remember the "runaway radio" logo, too. Yes, 101 KLOL changed their format to a Latin station. It's mainly reggaeton. The only classic rock station in Houston now is the Eagle since The Arrow which was the other classic rock station ceased to exist. The Arrow was cool. They would put on the Arrowfest concerts in the summer at the Woodlands pavilion that featured multiple classic rock bands. Miss that!
@@patriciamonsivaiz3305 The "runaway radio" logo brings back memories. Do you remember the "Rock N Roll Army" with Colonel St. James? You got a membership card that was good for discounts at certain businesses. I wish I still had that card.
I don't recall that discount card but I remember Col. St. James as one of the DJs. Same with Dana Steel and Stevens and Pruitt.
this music really does shake your head. Rock on Rob Squad
Should see the live version of this, it’s epically good.
This album was recorded in punks rocks heyday but this blew it all out of thd water the best rock band on the planet from 76 -80
You need to watch the live performance to realize how huge this song is.
The live version from "If You want Blood...You Got It" is my favorite version of this jam 🤘
I can picture is head going through that entire song. Lol. Fire!
J's got the Angus head bob going... Hard not to move when you're listening to a song like that.
Give some love to Angus' big bro Malcolm, he was the engine that drove the AC/DC train!
One of my favorites.
You cant beat their early stuff , It was raw and great rock ! Bon Scott was the man!
Underrated AC/DC song from Highway to Hell is Night Prowler, give it a shot you won't regret it.
AC/DC Thunderstruck Official Video will blow you away. You will watch Angus play from beneath him on a clear glass platform. You will be blown away by the video and music.
They did an incredible live performance of this in Munich! You should check out that video too. Angus really entertains the crowd on this one!
So grateful to have seen them live in this era....Bon Scott times were the best!!
First AC/DC album I ever bought. I still have it somewhere in the basement. The whole album is epic Whole lotta Rosie and Let There Be Rock are two songs you have to check out. You guys Rock.
Angus still rockin' in '24!
It's definitely true AC/DC has always had a distinct sound. Easy to recognize.
AC/DC was one of the first bands I was into, this one of my favorite songs, and definitely my favorite album
This was the opening song at their concert we went to in Vancouver, BC!! The best concert I've ever seen! Angus! Angus! Angus!
This album is fire 🔥
my favorite by them is a old banger called Kicked in the Teeth Again... Great breakdown of this beauty too !
That’s the thing about AC/DC, Angus is really Angus and Malcom. It’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. They’re both doing their own thing to make that distinct AC/DC sound.
Jay and amber this was Bon Scott lead singer. Check out a ballad they did called Ride On
The entire Let There Be Rock album, both Australian import and international versions, are awesome. "Let There Be Rock," "Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be," and "Whole Lotta Rosie" have been played in concerts since 1977; often with extended versions of "Let There Be Rock."
stories tell that when they recorded this album they played so loud the speakers caught on fire in the studio.
Try "ride on" the slowest acdc song
Your reactions give me much joy! Thanks°
This whole album is just plain rippin'. And we totally agree about Angus and Stevie Ray. My faves. Shout out here though also to Malcolm Young, AC/DC's rhythm guitarist-, the real balls, backbone, guts, and teeth of the band's sound.
My favourite Accadacca album along with the Euro release of High Voltage
Proper blues rock!
I've suggested this one before and I'll suggest it again..'74 Jailbreak!! A very young AC/DC with a memorable bass line and crunchy guitar!! Y'all will love it!!
Angus Youngs favourite album. It’s amazing start to finish. Dog eat Dog, Overdose love them all.
Dog eat Dog on this album rocks!!
When I first started playing guitar the guitar string maker “Dean Markly” had an add with Angus promoting them so I started using them for a bit.😂
The razors edge , it's a beautiful song for you ⚡
this was always my favorite full album
I saw AC/DC live in 2001 and they played an extended version of 'Bad boy boogie'... It was halfway through the set and in the middle of the song when the drums stop and the guitars r jammin'... Angus Young takes off his guitar and starts his 'striptease' routine winding up the crowd and taking off his jacket, tie and shirt and ended the routine by pulling down his shorts and revealing his AC/DC boxers... At the same time, the 'big Angus' statue from the 'Stiff upper lip' album cover on the stage has also turned around, revealing the AC/DC logo on it's rear end ... 🤣(U can see this on the concert video 'Stiff upper lip live' filmed in Germany in '01)
Angus Young puts on his guitar, now only in shorts, and proceeds to finish 'Bad boy boogie' w/ the band... Loudest show I've ever been to!
IMO
Their best riff ??? GONE SHOOTIN
Always love to hear your reactions! Thank you, guys!
It Ain't No Fun (Waiting Around To Be A Millionaire) is another good one.
Great rock and roll. Live too!
I'm a big a.c.dc. fan. I've never heard this song before
You guys are killing it in it! AC/DC is pure fire that makes you groove to those beautiful riffs.
AC/DC has never let me down 🤘🤘
Some great tracks on this album. The title track Let There Be Rock and Whole Lotta Rosie are bangers but listen to the live versions at The Apollo. Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be and Dog Eat Dog are also great tracks from this album.
Can't go wrong with AC⚡DC 🤘
