@HardNews TV14 AC/DC Back in Black - probably STILL my most played album of all time. How can it NOT be! I'm a year younger - my jaw just dropped when I heard this for the first time. Parents HATED it - I was always good at computers/electronics and built my own HiFi at 12 (with a bit of help) but it had 50W woofers (12" across) and decent piezo tweeters. That's 50 RMS MOSFET watts per channel baby, not today's crappy amps! It would literally shake the glass in my window. Used it as a guitar amp as well. Waited until Mum and Dad were out, nearly deafened myself with this album then just lay on my bed giggling!
@@joannecunliffe8067 Ahh, that's hilarious!! Love these little stories. I can't even imagine how loud that was, but I know I would've rocked the house with it too! And of course, after the parents left. My parents were NOT cool at all. 😂
@@gypsyrocker Yeah, they weren't at the time! We're very close now though although they're getting fairly elderly. Love 'em to bits (which I did back in my teens too). @@joannecunliffe8067 That's a great song! My parents definitely mellowed out over the years, but back then, my music was just annoying noise to their ears. That is until I got my own car, then I took it with me. Haha. That was totally agreeable on all sides.
ACDC is one of the greatest bands at building energy.. they are masters of creating a heavy sound that somehow feels restrained until they blow the roof of the mother******
"Girl's Got Rhythm"!!! That's Bon Scott's vocal banger where he and Angus have a vocal and guitar duel at the end like Brian and Angus do at the end of this one. It's got the same energy, swag and epic close as this. Great reaction as always!
haha yep! I saw them on the Back In Black tour back in...1980? I left there with my ears ringing and my chest hurting (from the bass, we were about 10 rows back, on the floor of the arena). One of my favorite memories. Then came back to my buds house to crash for the night, and fell asleep listening to Bob Segers "Turn the Page".
Took my 12 year old son to their concert back in the late 80s. Stood in front. Speakers were so loud that the legs of our jeans beat back with every stroke of the bass and beat of the drum. Angus showered us with his sweat during a particularly energetic guitar solo, roadie lifted up my son over the barricades for a better view at another time. My son had an absolute blast. It was his very first rock concert. He was the coolest kid in school for a bit and I was the coolest mom.
Could not agree more....been to 100 concers easy, AC/DC in the Philadelphia Spectrum was by far the loudest ever. 3 days later I still had Angus' high end ringing in my ears....truly started to worry my hearing was damaged lol

Everything everyone loves about AC/DC's music was Malcom. Angus is a great lead guitarist, but the foundation of AC/DC's sound is the great rhythm guitar riff and Malcom wrote them all.
here here . totally agree . malcom was the back bone of acdc , yet he never took front of stage or told anyone , he just loved being there , being a part of ac/dc . im a rhythm player myself . and malcom is definitely the reason i took up guitar and the rhythm parts . him and the angels . they have some fantastic riffs to .
One of my sons, just today sent me a link to an AC/DC collection to which he was listening whilst on the 15 hour line-up to pass the Queen's coffin in London, and the first piece on it was this very song. He said he and the group around him, which included six people who had flown in all the way from Texas, have been sharing some of the saved reviews you have made over the past year. He said to tell you the new friends he has made in this long queue really enjoyed your music choices. They helped relieve the boredom of the 15 hour wait, and spread a little cheer in the midst of a somber, reflective experience. Thanks.
The Back In Black album has enhanced my life every day over the past 42 years. I wore out the first Back In Black vinyl album I bought in 1980, so I am on my second one now. And Shoot to Thrill is one of my favourites from the album. But ALL of the tracks are fantastic anyway.
arguably the greatest rock album ever, think it still may be one of the highest selling rock album of all time with over 50 million copies sold since its debut in 1980. Bought it as a 11 year old and wore it out on the turntable, still have my original vinyl copy
@@5705michael Someone can tell me I'm wrong but IIRC I looked it up years ago, there were 3 shows to a capacity crowd estimated at 70-80,000 each night and about 200-250,000 total.

I implore the two of you to watch the River Plate video of FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK and try to imagine yourselves in that crowd. AC/DC inspired and embodied the primal essence of rocking the eff out like no other band before or since.

Probably the best overall rock 'n roll album ever made. One of a handful of albums that you can just put on, hit play and never feel the desire to skip a song.
Great reaction! This song was used in Iron Man 2 at the Stark Expo and when you think about his company being a weapons manufacturer this is best song to use! I saw them live a few times and they use these cannons in the song For Those About To Rock (We Salute You) and those cannons are so loud you’re literally deaf for the next few minutes!
When Iron Man is flying around under the bridge and blowing up cars and running from those people and then come slamming down into the middle of that stadium was iconic
Love that entire album. Wore out a lot of cassettes back in HS (I'd put the vinyl on those, then play the tapes to not damage the LP). Given the Dog a Bone is excellent for a lesser-known off that.
I saw AC/DC on their Black Ice tour. Absolutely amazing. My ears were ringing for days! The boys come out and give 110% for the whole concert. Angus does a solo for about 15 minutes, absolutely shredding the guitar! They finished up, said goodbye and were gone. No encore. We didn't mind the no encore because they had delivered the best show ever!
A fantastic banger by this monster group! Every AC/DC I’ve ever been to has been so loud I was deaf for a couple of days after the show. Totally worth it! For those about to rock we salute you!!!
This band was my favorite hard rock band and also the first concert I went to. I think "A whole lot of Rosie" and "The Jack" are killer tunes that you will want to listen a second time.
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) was my intro to AC/DC back in the day, have loved them ever since. I think you would really enjoy it. The cannons going off at the end just add to the awesomeness of the song.
Suggestion: React to the Full Album of Back In Black! That way you can feel it all the way we did back in 1980. Plus you can see why it is the 2nd most selling album of all time and the best selling rock album ever. It has NO BAD SONGS and every song is epic, iconic and they need to be heard in the album context!
Agreed! Reacting to a whole classic album would be cool, and if you could pick one, this is it. You've already done 4 of its 10 songs, so it would mix new with familiar for you. It's SUCH a great album. Everyone here is right--not one weak song on it.
I do love me some AC/DC, but whenever this song or "You Shook Me All Night Long" comes on....all life stops, volume "shoots" to max and NOTHING else happens until the song is over! Jay & Amber....you MUST listen to "You Shook Me All Night Long"!!! 😊
ACDC did grow up in Australia but Angus and Malcolm and Bon Scott were all Scottish born and moved to Australia as kids. I would consider ACDC a Scottish band.

Best concert I've ever been to & I've been to a lot!! But gettin to chat with them was iconic!! They have a lot!!
Tough to pick a favorite off Back in Black. AC/DC came roaring out of the gate after Bon Scott’s death. Just a ferocious album. A must-have for every hard rock collection.
You guys are so good together! If I were the father of either of you, I'd be so proud of your accomplishments... college, marriage, kids, channel. Your chemistry seems so sincere and organic, my prayer for you, is running the race of life like it's a marathon, but with the frenetic pace of a sprint! Much love and blessings.
the first piece of music i ever bought in my young life, it was with my birthday money, ACDC Back in Black. back in 1981, it blew my 11 year old mind. i remember going to Kmart with money in hand and my mom asking me several times "THIS is what you want to buy?! you wont have any money left." "YES, THIS is what i want to buy" she shook her head and sighed a bit and said "ok" in a slightly disappointed voice. lol. i had been hearing songs from it for months and wanted it something awful. the moment dropping that needle on my first record player onto my first album and hearing those bells from the first track, magic.
Really need to do yourselves a favor and watch one of the AC/DC concerts. Either DVD or UA-cam, whatever platform you have to see these guys perform a whole concert. They leave it all out on the stage. Would love your reaction to a full concert. I get fired up just talking about it! LOL Thanks for all you do! God bless you and yours!
You guys are great as always. There's a musical moment that happened pretty recently that turned me, a guy who lets just say life and more specifically the loss of several people I loved before I graduated high school, from a guy who became pretty numb to emotion into a guy who shed a few tears for the first time in years, and that's Shane Hawkins playing "My Hero" on his dad's drum kit with his dad's old band and absolutely killing it and owning that moment. I have watched that performance at least once everyday since it happened and about half through the song there's a moment between Dave and Shane that is a combination of inspiring and heartbreaking and I truly hope for young Shane a healing moment as well but I just think you guys would be every bit as moved as basically everyone who has seen that performance. Please.... 🙏🤞
I graduated High School in 86.. I have heard this song so many times.. it never stops being good.. But I can not get the Iron Man Version out of my head when I watch it on UA-cam.. LOL.. Or River Plate if I want Live.. Great reaction.. hard not to love this Rocking Australian Group!
Have y’all heard the story behind Brian Johnson joining AC/DC? Apparently Bon Scott and Brian Johnson were both touring with their bands when Brian Johnson started screaming on stage due to appendicitis. Brian Johnson laid down on the stage, screaming, but Bon Scott thought it was all part of the act. He later told the rest of the guys from AC/DC about this, and how much he liked Brian Johnson. I’ve always found this amazing, because Bon Scott basically found the person to replace him after he died. True legends, both of them.
Yes, one of my favorite AC/DC tunes... however, this is one of my favorite rock n roll songs of all-time. So much energy. I am instantly charged every time I hear it.
Excellent choice!! To see an incredible performance of this song, click on the “Live at Donington Park” performance of it… you can’t go wrong!! Great song, RSR Family!!
I know reacting to ACDC Live can be difficult on UA-cam and I’ve mentioned this before but if you can, do this song, Shoot to thrill and High Voltage live at Donington - this is the best concert as they’re a bit younger. You will see Angus in great form on stage especially on those killer signature riffs of his! The whole band is incredibly tight - It will be a different experience - you won’t regret it!
You should also react to more songs off this album because this album is amazing, it basically defines what Rock N Roll is all about and the "Back In Black" album is also the 2nd best selling album of all time behind Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Here is the list of all the songs on this album 1. Hells Bells 2. Shoot To Thrill 3. What Do You Do For Money Honey 4. Givin The Dog A Bone 5. Let Me Put My Love Into You 6. Back In Black 7. You Shook Me All Night Long 8. Have A Drink On Me 9. Shake A Leg 10. Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
The back beat is incredible. But I remember reading the back of a VHS rental at blockbuster once....and the narrative was....."if you go into WW3....this is the band you want on your side!" And it is true with so many of their songs...the adrenaline rush.
Obviously there are a lot of great AC/DC songs you could do reaction videos to. And since there are plenty of suggestions for you to react to, which I agree with all of them. So, I'm going outside the box and I'm going to recommend an early classic, with Bom Scott on lead. It's called 'Ride On'.... It's a great song, but a whole different side of AC/DC that will probably surprise you, in a good way!
Ride On is one of my favourites. My brother was a bikie and he loved that song as well. Now, since he has died it is even more poignant to me when I hear it.
After Bon Scotts death many fans wondered if it would be the end of AC/DC. Then they released the album "Back In Black". What a way to introduce the world to Brian Johnson ! Not a bad song on the entire album. One of the greatest hard rock albums ever made.
I'm so glad I found your channel because you are bringing back so many great songs/artists/bands that I have listened to! AC/DC was absolutely monumental when I was growing up. I wish I had seen them in concert, I would have lost my mind! I can see Jay doing the 'Angus' now!
Fun fact: this particular song was not so well known before it was used for Iron Man 2 and has since gone on to retroactively become one of their many hits.
That's just BS. Back in Black (the album) is the second most sold album in the world second only to Thriller. So literally millions of people know this song and every song on the album. Just because the mainstream charts don't play it doesn't mean a thing.
Saw them in 1980 during the "Back in Black" tour. They opened with "Hells Bells" and Brian swinging on the rope with the bell. It was a concert I'll never forget for many reasons.
If you want to give this channel another boost, do all the songs on Back in Black start to finish. Do one song a day. The album is banger after banger. You’ll be dripping of sweat before side B.
There's not a bad song on this album. It's one of those that deserves a listen start to finish in one sitting. Also, their your faves but you haven't even done their best song yet. ( I don't think). Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. :)
I just love watching your honest reactions to all this amazing music from over the decades. You will give anything a listen and I love hearing stuff that I haven't heard in ages reminding me of my childhood in the 60s, my teen years in the seventies and onwards to today. Thank you from a happy, old music lover to two happy young music lovers !
It's metal illness, I got it in 1980, when I started listening to acdc, and you never really get over it. ACDC. P.S., be patient with him Amber, it's a serious illness. 🙃

It's too bad that Jay and Amber didn't choose the "Iron Man 2" version of this song for their reaction. The clips of that movie against the backdrop of the band's performance of the song in front of the '09 River Platte, Argentina concert crowd raises the energy to another level.
Jay I know you love AC/DC and you guys picked a good one today. Great song. I know Jay that you love Angus. He is one the best guitarists in my opinion. If you haven't figured out by now you can generally tell when you hear Angus playing. He's got a signature sound.

The riff after the second chorus, that bouncy build back up to the full melody 🔥😎🦄🤘 I vote for an Angus Young costume 👍👍👍
Jordan as Angus would be hilarious
thank you so much for finally reacting to my favorite AC/DC song. it warms my heart to see the younger generation enjoying great music
Just reading the title before viewing, 😁🙂 my favorite too, such a good song!
"For Those About To Rock" Live with cannons. 'FIRE'
the first piece of music i ever bought in my young life, it was with my birthday money, ACDC Back in Black. back in 1981, it blew my 11 year old mind. i remember going to Kmart with money in hand and my mom asking me several times "THIS is what you want to buy?! you wont have any money left." "YES, THIS is what i want to buy" she shook her head and sighed a bit and said "ok" in a slightly disappointed voice. lol. i had been hearing songs from it for months and wanted it something awful. the moment dropping that needle on my first record player onto my first album and hearing those bells from the first track, magic.
This song makes me drive waaay faster than I should...every time!!! 😂
This whole album is all kick-ass songs! 🤘🔥🔥🔥😎
Those guys turned the amps all the way up, went full distortion and just simply rocked, they were great.
Regardless of ones personal taste, this is an Album that is hard not to love.
ACDC was my first concert back in 1986 and what a show it was. I'd definitely suggest going to see them if possible.
My favorite AC/DC song.👍🏻 Seen them twice. Once with Bon once with Brian.
I saw AC DC six times and every time was a pleasure !!!
❤️👍
Please.... 🙏🤞
YES!! 👍❣️👍
Imagine the energy at a live show!
You owe it to yourself to watch this live at River Plate (2009). The energy level is second to none & Angus really goes off.
one of my all-time fav AC/DC songs EVER!! love Amber's reaction just before she takes off her headphones!! awesome!
Need to hear "TNT", "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Dirty Deed Done Dirt Cheap" and "Big Balls". 💜
Can't wait to see Amber's face if they play shes got the jack!
Big Balls! I gotta watch Amber react! Lol 🤣
So glad you reacted to the audio!
Malcom was the master at coming up with the main riff's. RIP Malcom, you will never be forgotten.
Played this album 1,000 times. One of the greatest albums of all time. I was very fortunate to see them 1/2 a dozen times live! Glad you 2 enjoyed it!
You two are definitely my favorite people doing reaction videos. Thanks for the fun and please keep em coming. 👌
You should also react to more songs off this album because this album is amazing, it basically defines what Rock N Roll is all about and the "Back In Black" album is also the 2nd best selling album of all time behind Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Here is the list of all the songs on this album
1. Hells Bells
2. Shoot To Thrill
3. What Do You Do For Money Honey
4. Givin The Dog A Bone
5. Let Me Put My Love Into You
6. Back In Black
7. You Shook Me All Night Long
8. Have A Drink On Me
9. Shake A Leg
10. Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
Every single song totally rocks!
Ride On is one of my favorite next to this song. More of a bluesy tune.
Love it!
My favorite AC/DC song! Love the break down in this one
The shear power of this song makes incredible, ant to see the actual video of the sea of people makes it more incredible
Of all the metal bands AC/DC have the most identifiable sound. You always know it’s them. ✌️
Lots of sass, swagger, groove and swing. As heavy and hard as metal but more blues and traditional rock 'n' roll based than most metal.
I'd say they are one of the last pinnacles of the hard rock mountain just before you reach the skies of metal
Fo sho
Back in Black was my first album ever, still great, every song. Shoot to Thrill is up there on the list of best songs ever.
Do "High Voltage", and "Whole Lotta Rosie", with Bon Scott singing with AC DC
Would also recommend Touch Too Much if they haven't reacted to it yet.
This is and was my favorite song when it came out, In fact I had Back In Black on 8-Track tape and I wore that thing out.
There's not a bad song on this album. It's one of those that deserves a listen start to finish in one sitting. Also, their your faves but you haven't even done their best song yet. ( I don't think). Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. :)
Jay completely rocking out at 4:40 is one of the most joyous things I've seen for a while
Amazing how a whole new generation discovered AC/DC thanks to the Iron Man movies 😁
"Miss me, Agent Romanoff?" RDJ/Iron Man's voice popped into my head instantly.
Iron Man is where my son discovered AC/DC. And when I hear this song, I always think of Iron Man 2.
Yall just put a big ass smile on my face. Just good old dirty rock and roll moving your soul.
Maximum Overdrive would be a great movie for your reaction channel 🤠👍
All AC/DC Soundtrack ✌️♥️
I just love watching your honest reactions to all this amazing music from over the decades. You will give anything a listen and I love hearing stuff that I haven't heard in ages reminding me of my childhood in the 60s, my teen years in the seventies and onwards to today. Thank you from a happy, old music lover to two happy young music lovers !
It's metal illness, I got it in 1980, when I started listening to acdc, and you never really get over it. ACDC. P.S., be patient with him Amber, it's a serious illness. 🙃
The face that Amber makes at the end of that song says it all!
Fun Fact: “Back In Black” is the 2nd best selling album of all time with over 50 million sold. Only “Thriller” has more with 70 million.
The Eagles Greatest Hits is now the best selling album of all time. It passed Thriller in sales back in 2018 I believe.
@@sheldondyck8631 According to Wikipedia, Eagles are essentially tied for 3rd with 44m (5th), Pink Floyd (4th) and Whitney Houston (3rd) both over 45m. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_albums
Don’t know if y’all have done FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK yet but you should, they close every show with it one of the best rock anthems!!
It's too bad that Jay and Amber didn't choose the "Iron Man 2" version of this song for their reaction. The clips of that movie against the backdrop of the band's performance of the song in front of the '09 River Platte, Argentina concert crowd raises the energy to another level.
I was 19 when this came out. This album was and IS HUGE.
Back in Black is the second biggest selling album of all time.
Jay I know you love AC/DC and you guys picked a good one today. Great song. I know Jay that you love Angus. He is one the best guitarists in my opinion. If you haven't figured out by now you can generally tell when you hear Angus playing. He's got a signature sound.
Can't believe you still haven't heard 'You shook me all night long'. Gotta listen to it!!
Went to see AC/DC in London. One of the most incredible experiences I've had in my life. The place was jumping right from the first number, they never took the foot off the gas and the atmosphere was off the charts!!! It's very hard to describe, it just needs to be experienced. 👊👊
