Even if they tried to raise it
      1. It would cost a ridiculous amount of money, and no one in their right minds would pay so much
      2. That money would go to waste anyway, because the ship is rotting due to water damage and the steel would break apart right in your hands.
      3. The ship is 2.5 miles down the ocean and the pressure would be really high, so even just investigating the ship is danger prone

RIP to all who sailed on the Titanic.
One woman actually served on all 3 White Star sister ships
She was on the Olympic when it had the accident, got transferred to the Titanic as a result, survived the sinking, served on the Britannic (converted to hospital ship during WW2), and survived THAT ship sinking due to a mine.
Afterwards she got a job on land for a bit before landing a job on a mail boat......
She died of natural causes in the 80's.
Surviving 2 massive ship disasters AND to work on all 3 sister ships is quite amazing and worthy of bragging rights in the afterlife!

The RMS Carpathia was the ship that saved the survivors
Carpathia’s steam was so stressed that the engineer put his hat over the gauge as to not see it. She was never able to reach her maximum speed ever again after
Captain Arthur Rostron and the RMS Carpathia were the hero’s of this tragedy, along with his crew. They rescued over 700 survivors.
Captain Arthur and other officers gave their rooms up to survivors, and prepared the dining area for injured.
Carpathia was sunk on July 17th 1918 after being torpedo’d by a german submarine.
She now rests 500 feet beneath the Atlantic Ocean near Ireland
Captain Arthur Rostron died November 4th 1940 at the age of 71.

Saraneth this is close. The bow was hydrodynamic, so it sank nearly straight down at first and then plateud outward as it picked up speed. The stern sank open end first, so as it went down it blww apart and spiraled to the bottom

Also, the bow half sank slowly and had time to thoroughly flood. The stern half sank rapidly after the ship broke in two, leaving a lot of air in the stern half. That air is why the stern half is in such bad shape: the stern half imploded. But also the shape of the stern half and the air trapped inside caused the stern half to corkscrew towards the bottom.
