@@CharlesVanexX I work for myself in Philadelphia and NYC my NYC studio will prob be closed till July August, PA not sure. Check with your local laws and they may require you to wear a mask I'm not sure what will happen. Good luck out there!

Keep honing and testing your material, Andrew. You have a wonderful quirky perspective and you dropped in some genius lines with awesome surprise factor at or near the end of some of the sets which made me laugh harder than I have in a while. I can see you getting to where you drop and build and circle back and people can't hardly breath for laughing.

Hi. In the70s (and, of course, earlier) there was always a little question mark attached to the word masseuse. Like working out and eating for health maintenance, getting massages was not yet a mainstream activity. Clients were sports people. athletes and those in the entertainment industry. If a masseuse worked in a place called a Massage Parlor, there was a chance a man could get something called aHappy Ending. Many people thought that there was something not quite legit about these places and they were correct in their suspicions, as plenty of people knew that this was for some practitioners a double profession. As we moved toward the 80s, the public became health conscious and it turned out that salads were not necessarily "rabbit food" and brown rice was not for hippies only. People started wearing sweats and jogging and it's THEN that the legitimacy of massage found it's roots. Before this, a man could take his son to the "shvits" for a good rub and a steam, but the only place a woman could have a massage was at some kind of spa - at a hotel, for example. BY THE 90s most practitioners were required to be licensed, and the term masseuse was heading into retirement to be replaced with the term " massage therapist". and that's pretty much where we are at now. I'm speaking of mainstream contemporary urban culture, mainly. There are plenty of towns and areas of the county where people are more conservative and for whom this description doesn't quiite jibe.
Surely there are still women running around cartiing their tables whoi proudly answer to "masseuse" but this would be a minority group. Al so, befitting the new terms Masage Therapists and Bodyworkers today have a plethora of modalities at their disposal, from reiki to shiatsu to reflexology and acupressure to sports massage and of course, the all- time original Swedish with, it turns out, Swedish being, mostly, a four- maneuver extrapolation of. what else,,.. . ancient Chinese techniques.
I hope that my attempt at elucidation has offered some insight into what was going on here. I must say that this conservative performer's choice of words portrays a fellow full confusions and their attendant hesitancies. 🌿🌱

I'm a massage therapist who learned to use a towel along with the sheet to give it more weight and a sense of coverage. You can also ask to be covered a bit more if you start to feel exposed. Or reaching to do so yourself will get that point across, but you could accidentally grope your therapist.
