How history is affected by a single death or a birth or event. Henry eighth's brother Arthur had lived, if Elizabeth 1 had married and had children, Henry, Charles 1 brother had lived. That fuse would have been lit?
What about this topic what if Lady Jane Grey or Mary queen of Scots had not been executed and one of them became the new queen of England in 1603? how would Guy Fawkes have reacted to either one of these two ladies becoming queen of England in 1603? Do you think the Gun Powder plot would have still happened? Do you think the death sentencing would have been harsher or less harsher then what James the1 did or could he been speared by Lady Jane Grey or Mary queen of Scots? What’s your opinion on this topic?
He wasn't hung, drawn and quartered Before the execution could be carried out, Fawkes jumped from the ladder to the platform on which the gallows stood and broke his neck. As a result, he died before he was hanged.
If he was hung or quartered How did he die? Jumping off a ladder doesn't kill people. In history he was hung drawn and quartered. Fawkes began to climb the ladder to the noose, but either through jumping to his death or climbing too high so the rope was incorrectly set, he managed to avoid the agony of the latter part of his execution by breaking his neck. His lifeless body was nevertheless quartered and, as was the custom, his body parts were then distributed to "the four corners of the kingdom", to be displayed as a warning to other would-be traitors.
Bickford fuse was only invented in 1830 I think this was Guy Fawkes biggest problem why he failed . At that time they probably used goose feathers in blasting which was very erratic and dangerous 😂😂
This whilst a great video and story, is sadly guilty of a lot of invention in telling a story wove around the verifiable facts. It could all be true I'll give it that, but so much is plain supposition designed to support a narrative that Robert Cecil effectively engineered things from the shadows. Its a fun video but documentary is not accurate, based upon a true story is closer.

What a fascinating story. Great production quality with some superb acting too!
This is epic. Very well produced
We don’t have Guy Fawkes Day in the United States, but I’m fascinated by this documentary, being a history buff.
You wouldn’t since it’s British history we don’t celebrate hardly any of your holidays or events except Christmas
@@scarface7142Christmas isn’t an American holiday! It’s Christian holiday that highjacked a previous pagan festival.
The acting was so cool. THANK you for the video, I have an English exam tomorrow

That was the planned punishment
Pretty sure they did the quartering anyway

Sickos with tourture.
MY DISTANT HALF GREAT UNCLES WERE JOHN AND CHRISTOPHER WRIGHT. ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO SIR !
10:29 - apparently guy Fawkes was spared that because he jumped off the scaffolding and broke his neck, or not?
He was still hanged, drawn and quartered. He was just dead when they did it, mercifully.
Very suspicious goings on indeed.
Very underrated video
remember, remember
the fifth of november
the gun powder treason and plot
I see no reason
why gun powder treason
should ever be forgot.
Thank you 🙏🏼❤️
Thanks for the upload...
This is brilliant.
Good video

Digby was the poet and writer and possibly the same class of the cypher, and de cyphering process. maybe someone knows for sure
What if Lady Jane Grey hadn’t been executed and became the new queen of England in 1603 how would Guy Fawkes react to her and her rule
She'd have been 66 years old so probably not very old these days but ancient in 1603. She's unlikely to have survived Mary and Elizabeth's reigns.
Guy fawkes died 1605 all of the ploters are dead. remmeber remmember the 5th of November .
I’m afraid I’m a radical Catholic. Christ is King!
DW you will be converting to Islam next 😂
Use the past tense when describing events which occurred in the past.

Fire the film editor. Why put up images for .015 seconds?
Adds suspense
No it doesn't.
