Thanks for making this. This is the only video I can find that shows how to access the auxiliary battery under the rear seat on the driver's side. You saved me from removing that panel directly behind the rear seats because it isn't necessary to remove the driver's side rear seat.
Awesome to hear that !
You are very welcome
Thanks for the video my 2017 GLE had milk damage and after i saw your video I’m about to do the same only on the back sets. Thank you
You are welcome 😅
thank you much for video. exactly what i sought!
I appreciate, 🙏
Great video!! I have a 2013 Ml350 bluetec, almost the same as this one. Do you know if these have a GPS module?? Are any of the modules you pulled out from under the carpet linked to gps or NAV?? Any ideas would thank you..
No they don’t but depends on the trim too plus everything is complicated u never know which computer is for navigation because it can be in the radio module
Hey, first of all great video! In our ml350 the fan for interior ventilation stopped working. But the problem is not with the motor. When we make an impact such as a kick to the floor of the right front passenger seat it starts working. So there must be something with the wires down there under the carpet. Do you know which wire might cause this issue? Thanks!
You might got corrosion in the seat connection or under the seat there is a bunch of wires and modules make sure everything is dry and not rusty
Hi, I’ve just watched your brilliant video about the Merc GLE after it had been flooded. The EXACT same thing happened to me in the awful flood in Cork recently. How much did it cost to fix it and your labour? I’ve been told my car is a write off but if it doesn’t cost too much I’d love to save it. Thanks so much.
Well it’s been a while since you wrote the comment but I hope you fixed the car if not I can answer all you questions after
I didn’t get it fixed yet and I would love to know how much it would cost to fix it.
Hi! Am working on 2013 ML350. Have hard time removing the side plastic covers on the front seat so i can remove the seatbelt and the seata. Any tips on those panels? They are in two peace but they dont like to came out?
Thanks
What you have to do is remove all the screws and clips and slide them towards you
Idk if we talk about the same things
Hello. Do you yourself buy these cars at auction for restoration and resale? Or are you just doing a fetching service for someone? You took apart a few cars on the canal, they're all flooded with salt water?
They are all fresh water damage and I do buy this cars my self and fix them also I do work with someone else
@@mechanicmode very interesting how the project ended with the ML350. Which blocks had to be replaced and which ones were saved and how? Did you manage to make money on this car in the end or went into the red?
can we expect part 2
Unfortunately the car was fixed and fixed long ago , but if you have any questions about it let me know I will answer
