- I found 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 at Copart. Looks nice. Run and drive, though it marked as flood damage. Let's see what I've found. Are all flood damage cars bad? Let's inspect this salvage rebuildable.

Thank you !
Usually copart marks the water line on the outside of the car,Guess they did not decide to here.
Usually not hard to tell just pull back any door panel on the inside.
good hint!
I looked at this again. It is a beautiful car.
You couldn't pay me to have a 4cyl, especially with a turbo.
When that gets to 100k miles it will have a meltdown. 😮
agreed. drive it and sell it.
hello AUTO Hacker do you think it's a good idea to buy a flood damage car that doesn't start and drive ?
no
So I shouldn’t buy right?
So, did you buy the Mercedes-Benz?
No e-book to download :(
Not good idea to start and rev a flood damage car without checking if the engine oil is not mixed with water first.
if car states run and drive - I can verify it. if no start code - I will not start.
Bitly is blocking your site.
Final bid - $14.200. Good price for this car.
Too much. 8,000 is what the final bid should be.
Wasn't able to find this car, any detail how can I find it?

Don't buy any car right now, the market is correcting itself. Black book values have dropped 21% in 1 month for all new/used cars, new car dealers are starting to realize no one is buying new/used cars due to high costs and interest rates being super high.
There is over 2.3 million used cars for sale right now, so let the dealers lose their shirt on their overpriced junk they have been feeding buyers for the last 3 years, let them suffer after record profits.
I agree on the whole used car thing, prices went up because of covid thing, but we are dealing here with salvage cars that discounted at 50-60% and have worldwide attention. Sales number are high, and it is still great way to buy used car with 50% discount which is huge.
is it a good time now
If it's salt water, for the love of god don't
😂😂😂 👏
Short answer no long answer it depends on the year if it’s one of the Daimler Benz products than run for the hills the electric components Chrysler was using at the time sucked without water damage
short answer - inspect it :) insurance companies write off perfectly good cars for no reason.
@@ihuntcardeals unfortunately most people have no clue what they are looking for when inspecting a “totaled” car let alone an import from Germany
@@atex6175 hire professional, they do know.
@@ihuntcardeals fair point you can definitely get a lot of vehicle for your money buying the right salvage titles car. The damage threshold for a total loss is crazy
@@atex6175 theft recoveries, right flood damage, repo, vandalism...50% off with nothing major. All my personal cars are salvage.
Хорош!
Is it diesel?
no, gas engine
C300 in 2022 already looks quite boring. I want something more interesting car :)
