OHHH YURRRRRR!!!
It's incredible that this song is from 95. Dudes were way ahead of their time
I'm not a drummer, I only finger tap but after listening to this song for the past 20 years, I gotta say this cover is perfect
Me too, and I agree with you!
same here!
one my favorite songs from Fear Factory!! 👍
me too 👍👊
hell's yea! that opening 1-2 of demanufacture followed by this is fkn brutal! like battery followed by master...relentless
Mine too :)
Fear Factory’s Obsolete and Demanufacture album are still way ahead of their time. This band is a masterpiece!
Ray Herrera is a sick ass drummer!! he created that kick trigger guitar accent!! now every one today rips his style off!👹
Not sure if it was Raymond or Dino, but they're both my favorite musicians.
can confirm i still rip them off
Meshuggah already did the Kick-Guitar pattern in None EP, 1994
Vinnie Paul also had a hand in that I believe. I can’t name any of the top of my head right now but I’m sure there’s a couple of Pantera songs that use that pattern too
Classic Fear Factory!
There's no band that'll ever sound like Fear Factory. You can't replicate them. Which makes them so much more badass when their theme often touches upon machine replication and devastation
Jeremy Schiesser replicate
Jeremy Schiesser
But that’s really funny because they actually and quite ironically made Demanufacture and their later albums with digital sample editing, hence why they’re impossible to replicate because they literally use machines to get that perfect precise sound which would explain their live performances, which reflect their aging and their human capabilities
The canadian band Synastry was pretty good! But no albums since 2012...
For a band with the name Fear FACTORY they certainly can't be copied and replicated.
@@topsecret1837 Virtually every single album you have listened to in the last 30 years has some form of sample on it and everything in the last 20-24 years has been digitally edited. So what if there is a drum machine on the opening loop of Demanufacture? That's the only spot on the entire album if I am not mistaken. RH could always do it live and that's what counts. There has been far more complex stuff released by other bands since then that makes FF drumming look like some novice shit that is played by human beings so your point is really invalid.
Amazing, one of the few who actually played it right. Gene Hoglan couldn't even play it right !!!
Dino Cazares oh hi dino
yet another reason to just bury the hatchet and try to get ray on board once again, that would be so awesome.
he actually played it better ahahaha
Dino Cazares
You know you’re good when the ACTUAL member of the band you covered says you’re legit.
Hey Dino...I love your music but you can't compare the drum skills of Raymond Herrera with Gene Hoglan... you don't know much about drum playing if you say that Gene can't play Fear Factory's music...Raymond is a great drummer but I don't think he could play what Gene has done on Death's albums. You should have kept Raymond or Gene in the band instead of using a drum machine...So shut up ! \m/
Raymond would be very very proud.
And not a single tom was hit that day
Tom lives matter.
Just take the toms off for that song, not even needed.
I guess you could tune a floor Tom super low and kind of hit it to accent some double kick...naw.. nevermind. Toms would be unnecessary
Thats why fear factory was awesome, no insane fills needed or over the top blasts (don't get me wrong i love both of them things) but fear factory just went and killed shit
@@Pantheonslayer People tend to not remember what other drummers in metal were doing at this time. You did not see bass drumming like this as a rule.
I love this dude, I'm turning 49 in July, I bought this song/album when it was released, this is a brilliant drum cover, one of his best, not easy, Raymond was a real underrated drummer who nobody seems to talk about nowadays, real shame 😢
I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, no one in the band could seem to get along...they're on their 4th drummer now...smh.
4:34 the reason why I Love this song and why it is my fav song of alltime. This "brige" or diffrent chorus just makes me feel good. xD
It blows my mind that the kick part at 5:05 is done with one foot. I am NOT a drummer. I wish I learned, but ive played air drums pretty well :) and I swear that was a double portion
Actually for me, as a very beginner drummer, (and this means I have never been taught by a drummer, and I recently bought my first drumset, practiced just a dozen times as this comment is written) it is much more easier to play consistent 16th notes and triplets in the 90-115 bpm range with just one foot. I totally suck with a double pedal (I do not have one, just tried my friend's), but with one foot, I am able to play Over the hills and far away by Nightwish in a quiet recognisable way :) My fills and timing of course is sometimes bad, but the continous triplets are decent and stable with one foot. The rebound of the drum and the spring is helping a lot, and if your ankle gets used to these factors, your muscles will learn how to use them in their favor :)
if you think about it, to do the double sections that are twice as fast as that, you've got to move your feet that fast anyway. But really, unless it's a closed hi-hat, it's down to the drummer whether to use singles or doubles for that kind of speed
when I finger tap it, it's double LOL
and 2:50
I remember stealing my brothers cds when I was about 8 and put fear factory in and it changed my life. I thought he was gonna kick my ass but instead he gave me a couple copies of what he already had. I still have them to this day and I am now 30. Haven't gone through all your videos but you should cover deicide 🤘🏻 serpents of the light
SERPENTS OF THE LIGHT!!!
Best Fear Factory Albul Ever !!!
Best FF album.
It's a masterpiece.

Thank you so much for uploading a fear factory cover. I'd love to see one of Christploitation
i am about to turn 47 in a couple of months, i bought this album when it released in 95 (btw for me music peaked in 90s) , you ve made me feel 19 again , thank you this was AMAZING!
playing with a pair of non matching socks. metal as heck. ;-)
nah that socks
One has +5 Speed enchantment and the other +5 Agility :)
+Torniojaws FAWM yes.
@@cozmahnut saying "heck" is metal as fudge.
They Are Matching though
Right down to the cymbal grabs. I’m always impressed on how you drummers and go rapid fire on the bass and still maintain the timing, fills and transitions on the top. Well done sir.
Love fear factory! Excited you performed this song, looking forward to what you post next!
Been a while since I've seen this (maybe a month 🙄🤐) and all I can say is that this has to be one of the coolest drum demonstrations on UA-cam.
You are simply phenomenal, brother! I am always in utter awe of drummers, I can barely play a simple 4/4 rhythm. I'll just stick to singing and playing guitar.
Also, thanks for this song. One of my favorites from FF. 😉
Was always one my favorite fear factory songs ❤
My Dad discovered Demanufacture and was very excited to recommend it to me. Bloody great album. Enjoyed the cover and the sheer energy that pours forth like a storm on the high seas... arrrrgh!
fantastic cover fantastic band
One of the most sólid drumms in the history of metal.
Ohhhhh yurrrr!! Vintage Samus rocks just as hard. 🙂 Champion!
My eyes are not worthy to watching this perfection ! Hats off dude you nailed it ( but you know that already ) always a pleasure to watch and to hear 🤘
That was absolutely flawless. Wow. I'm in awe 🔥🙏
That was insane. One of my all time bands! Sick dude🤘🏽🤘🏽
I had the great pleasure of seeing Fear Factory open for Iron Maiden at the 616 in Memphis in 1996.
Good times. Good times, indeed.
Saw them on every tour from Demanufacture to Mechanised. Doubt the world will ever know such greatness again in our lifetimes.
great song! you nailed it
Hell Yeah! Great job man! I absolutely love Demanufacture album and this song in particular:). Keep up the good work!

The first 2 words are the reason I subbed. Love your channel man!
This is awesome. I've been waiting for this one.
Man, I just watched 5-6 videos in a row. You're awesome.
I'll be back for more.
No bullshit editing. Just one killer take. Well done sir.
Absolutely amazing sir.
I'm so psyched you played Gear Factory that's definitely one of my favorite bands thanks balls!!👍
Very nice ! You totally nailed it ! And I love to watch your right hand !
So sick!!!! Flawless
Perfect symbiosis of rythm guitar and drums
Great choice of song - this is air drumming heaven!
FF's best album, hands down. You killed it bro.
I have you as a playlist in my phone from UA-cam you did an awesome job playing the drums for so many songs from Dimmu all the way to Fear Factory keep up the good work cuz you just keep making my playlist longer!!!!
Thanks for the wonderful speech at the beginning of video
Hah your choice in covers is so unorthodox I love it! Fear Factory will always be close to my heart and seeing this cover makes my inner 90's kid come out \m/
Play the entire "Mechanize" album!
Nice, me and bro started jamming that album over fifteen year ago. The only song he never knew was HK
Hunter killer. Zero signal was another cool one to jam. Keep it up.
great attention to detail man, awesome stuff!
used to love watching fear factory side stage, couldn't take my eyes off those kicks!
Man you kicked the krap outta that drumset, badass sound also! Love it.
Keep rockin dude, cheers from Austria.
Knocked it out the park . One of my fav Fear Factory songs.I am old, been listening to this fantastic band for decades .This dude is fricking good!
thank you dude!
I was waiting for this blastbeat. Nice work.
I just found this band, I’m glad it was through your drumming! Oohhh yuuurr🤘
I hope fear factory isn't over. And if they see this video. They need to hire you as their drummer.
Favorite FF song hands down. Nice job! \,,/

So cool. Demanufacture is def in my top 5 greatest albums of all time.
THAT WAS BAD ASS DUDE!!! Awesome job!!
NAILED IT!! Amazing!!
Sounds as good as the studio....well done.
That was flawless! Kick ass footwork
Nice one-footing on the breakdown. Great job overall
Such an amazing effin song!!!!! Thank you for uploading this!!!
what six assholes gave this a thumbs down?! dude nailed it.
People are free to like or dislike. The problem is that it could be interesting to know why they dislike. They could put a comment about it instead of just dislike.
Avo Stepanian trigger maybe?
People who would complain about triggers on a FF cover are a special breed indeed :D
VortechBand A new type of breed.
VortechBand so true! Raymond got so much hate back in the day for using them. So dumb.
Maybe the best drum cover of the channel!!!!
You really kicked this song's ass. Love the sound of your kicks. Good job :)
Best Fear Factory album...!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Please do Freedom or Fire! Favorite song by Fear Factory!
This sounds better than the drummer they have now. Great playing dude.
One of the most awsomest from the awesomest thanks FF
MORE FEAR FACTORY 66SAMUs ..........for real dude :)
You should do the entire Demanufacture album...!!!!!!!
It's 2021. And we need more Demanufacture nowadays! Thank you!
Great job!!!
The hate Herrera used to hit drums was huge!
PS: can't wait to hear his new band
Dude... WHAT BRAND????? You serious???
@@rosalindacaseley6996 No joke, at that time, he was involved in a big project called Titan or something like that....BUT, as far as I know it never came out to light.
@@METALLiCMETALLEr ah ok. Thanks for the reply!
Awesome man :) One of my favourite FF songs if not the favourite :) Great feel and all the stuff :)
such a beast been watching you for a long time
GOD DAMN IT!! You're awesome man!!
You're a machine dude! keep em' coming \m/
Awesome.. as always
I wanna say I really appreciate that you call your (awesome) videos play-throughs ;) Everyone titles their play-throughs as "covers" these days, which I kinda hate.
Successfully air drummed along to the video (with Danny Carey sig sticks) haven't heard this song for a few years, still 95% accuracy ohh yurr! Those sticks get heavy pretty quickly without surfaces for them to rebound from.
Awesome upload, they are doing a demanufacture anniversary tour. They will play it completely
4:54 - and I thought you were perfect...is it me or did the original drum track start switching over the ride cymbal 1/4 earlier ;p ? Never the less you nailed it,I bow to you, good Sir !
Oh my God, and I thought I have good ears for drums :) Isn't the drummer just 1\8 late? He is playing 16th notes on the ride, isn't he?
amazing ❤
Awesome man
you nailed it !
more fear factory! i love this fucking song!
Great job!
Best thing for a Tuesday morning! My neighbors hate me. Awesome job as always.
Outstanding.
Nice work 66Samus, Josh Steffen sent me here!
I love this guy
