The kitty had me laughing. So delightful. Very much enjoyed your video. Not sure I'd abandon the summer Quaker, but no shame or blame if you do. It would make a great project bag panel. I would, however, work the other seasons as I wanted to--one thread over two on 36 or 40 count. Not that I have worked that Quaker series, because I haven't. But I have heard from stitchers who have that they've not enjoyed the triple stranded Valdoni experience. I tend to be a fan of threads of all sorts, but when a thread is too thick or too thin for my liking, I will move to what is to my liking. I hope you do, too.
Thank you! I think I'll have to restart regardless since I want all the quakers to be the same size in the end... but you are right, I really should stitch how I want it!
Thanks for the kind words. Delightful to stitch with you and all of your gorgeous stitchy eye candy. ❤ Wishing you and your family a happy new year!!!!
I found you! Really enjoyed your WIP parade. I have been wanting to track down Bayun Cat for awhile - now thanks to you I have it in my Etsy cart! I am 58 years old and have been stitching since I was about 16 years old. It is so nice to see a passionate stitcher in her 20’s! Have a great 25th year and happy stitching!!!
❤ while watching your video I was organizing my New Year/New Start, mainly cutting my floss and putting them on the on Atom Heart Bobbins that you convinced me to buy. I got a small bonus at work so I went to 123stich and bought the Scissor Sampler, fabric, and the called for speciality threads. I was lucky enough to meet Shelbi in person at a retreat and got to see her bookcase piece while she was stitching on it. It was beautiful in person. I love seeing all the different things you stitch on. I stitch mostly fancy ladies. I did At the Met a few years ago. I look forward to seeing your finish. The beading really makes the piece. Thanks for keeping me company in a lonely Christmas morning.
I LOVE the Scissor Sampler!! So glad you got the bobbins, they are literally sooo good! I can't believe you got to see Shelby's bookcase in person, I'm jealous!! I can't wait to finish At the Met, I think she will be my focus piece for January! I hope that you had a lovely Christmas, thank you so much for letting me keep you company!❤️
❤Watching you after the New Year… Happy New Year… love your vibe… Fergus is a funny kitty; esp. when he dived into your ‘bucket’… i truly enjoyed your WIP 👍
Love love love this video. Don''t abandon or stop any stitching you love. Continue to finish & then stitch again on fabric or fabric count you like to make them all the same. I have stitched many many projects several times. My opinion only. Been stitching for years & if something doesn't suit your stitching, put away for awhile (years even). I rarely frog out & start over. I will start over but do finish the first one eventually. Isn't stitching the best? Happy Holidays & here is to new starts in 2023. Sizzle on my friend.
Oooh I admire that you're able to restitch things again! By the time I finish a project once I'm so ready to move on to something new that I don't think I could do that!😂 Happy holidays and new year to you! Thank you for all the joy your comments bring me every time! I always look forward to reading them!
I also wouldn’t abandon it, the Valdani threads are what make it so beautiful. I don’t think there’s anything you could convert to that would have the same effect.
@@Lisa-vb3gn Oh I'm not gonna abandon it either way! I'm just debating restarting using a different ply of the same threads on a smaller count of fabric! I love the effect of the Valdani, I just don't love the process of using the three strands!
Love your parade, Brijin! I am new to FlossTube and didn’t know about WIP Parades but coincidentally my most recent FlossTube shows my oldest WIP (1987!) and some other 5-10 year old WIPs. Looking forward to watching more of your videos 💜
Great WIP Parade. I was stitching on the second part of the Dark Queen of the Earth SAL as I watched this (I too am trailing behind lol). That Summer Quaker is so beautiful! I'd say stick with it if you can. I just love the look of it.
Enjoyed your video. Love the cats! I’m a cat lady too. My favorite was the Glendon Place Reindeer, I liked it so much I went right to Glendon Place and ordered it with the supplies. I love how we all enable each other, lol.
So happy to find your channel! I am also cross stitch, knit, quilt, read a lot and love history! I was meant to read ACOTAR with my reading group this year but I fell behind. Also love Outlander - so happy you have a cat named Fergus, he is one of my favourite characters. I am hoping to do A Year In The Woods in 2023 (or some of it at least) - I am planning to do all 12 as one piece. Looking forward to following along with your stitching - saw a lot of designers that I love too in your WIPs. 💖
Aww, yay!! I'm so glad the UA-cam algorithm sent you my way!! You're gonna love ACOTAR when you get to it, it's soo good! Fergus is one of my faves too! I thought it was too perfect, they were both street orphans lol! I love that you're doing the Year in the Woods as one piece, that will be absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for watching!! Happy stitching!
Your WIP parade came up on my feed and enjoyed seeing several designs I'd never seen before. Love your enthusiasm and kitty! I haven't tried Leo & Roxy floss but am tempted to order their Liz Matthews cloche conversion. Happy New Year!
♥️ loved watching your wip parade. The autumn/spring/etc samplers your not enjoying I would personally change the fabric to what you love stitching on. Great to see someone else doing the autumnlane queen. I stitched while I watched. I got 200 stitches. Thanks.
🎶Oh what fun it is to watch all of Brijin's WIPs Parade HEY! 🎵 I love all the kitty cameows and the bloopers at the end. Happy 2023 ♥I love watching your stitching progress and the threads are getting more and more tempting to break out from the DMC grasp....
❤ I wish I could have finished as many projects as you but school can get in the way. However, I have definietly found a few projects of yours that I would like to start. I enjoyed your wip parade and got a lot of stitching done while watching. I hope you have a lovely New Year!
Oh I totally get you on school getting in the way!! You'll have plenty of time to finish more projects once you're out, lol! Have a lovely new year yourself!
The summer Quaker on blue fabric, you should continue with it, it’s going to be beautiful on that fabric. I watched your whole video ❤️. You do excellent stitching. I hope you finish those wips, they are beautiful. See you next time.
This was a fun wip parade! I had the same feelings about the Valdani floss on my autumn quakers. I started with 3 strands on 28 count, then tried 1 strand over 1 on the 28 count, then finally settled on 2 strands on an 18 count. That last combo stitches up quickly and comfortably, but I'm a little annoyed that the third unused strand almost goes to waste. But I'm sticking with the Valdanis because I already invested in them. I love that Valor that you chose! It's dramatic and beautiful.
Ooh I didn't even think of stitching them on an aida!! I'll definitely consider that! I'm gonna try stitching on it as is one more day and if it bothers me again I'll make the fabric switch!
What a great video! WIP parade season is such a great time to find new (to me) channels. How have you only been stitching a couple years??? Love your projects & fabrics!
I stitched on my Dark Queen of the Earth (part 4) while watching you this week! Got 178 stitches in ❤ love a lot of your pieces and have added them to my "possible stitch plans" 😊
@@TheMuseumStitcher thank you! I just got done watching your live video with The Seattle Stitcher and got another 217 stitches in. It was really fun watching you two just talk about stitching. I've got a ways to go before I'm caught up, but I'm hoping to make some really good progress this long weekend.
I have had Miss Bingley’s library kitted up for so long, I love it, and so badly want to do it, but the way those words are broken up is the main reason I haven’t started it yet. My brain doesn’t like it either, lol. I wish I felt confident enough to rechart them. Way to go! As always I love your WIP parades.
I use stitch fiddle for my recharts, I just digitally chart the quote as is and it's super easy to move it around in the allotted space to orient it how you want it! It's such a good chart, but I did make a few changes to it!
Just found your channel. You are darling. I just live up the road from you. You really remind me of my granddaughter who’s degree is also history and loves English history. ❤️
Another fantastic video! I love a good wip parade (and it doesn't hurt that our taste in stitching is fairly similar). I was working on Modern Folk Embroidery's 2018 Mystery SAL while I watched your video.
Hello from Azle, TX! It was so fun watching your video and all the beautiful WIPS! Your cat jumping to the box had me LOL!! ❤ Can’t wait for the next video!
Just watched you for the first time and subscribed. I’ve not heard of Leo & Roxy and now I am intrigued to look into ordering some of their floss. I started cross stitching in 1985, often stitching from kits with the fabric & floss included. In the last year (I don’t want to add up my spend) I have discovered on line shopping and hand dyed linen ❤
What an incredible parade! Wow, Brijin, you have done so much in this year 🤩 Thank you for sharing all of your projects (and I loved the bloopers at the end ❤). Your Chatelaine is stunning; major props to you for trying that in your first year of stitching. I hope you had a great holiday with your family!
❤️ 😂 The bloopers at the end crack me up. I enjoyed seeing all your WIPS. I think I'm a mood stitcher too because a pattern just seems to call me and I just will stitch on it until another one rings. I'm OK with that. I don't do WIPGO or the Book of Days. I think it's neat, but I'd rather put my time in stitching then keeping track of all that. I stitch bigger things too but only have 9 WIPS at the moment with some ready to start, but I'm not ready yet. I'm 50 so I cannot fathom 51 starts for my birthday this year. I was stitching "The Colors of Spring" by Historische Stickmuster as I watched. Happy New Year!
Lol aren't they great? I'm actually surprisingly into the daily planning of my stitching, but I think it's a holdover from being a massively type A student who doesn't have to plan schoolwork anymore lol! I completely agree, 51 starts might be a little too many!😂
Really enjoyed your wip parade. Sat down with one of my oldest wips, Scarlett O’Hara from Watch and Stitch on Etsy. 216 sts while watching so thanks for helping me sit still and get some stitching done! Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! ❤
Love your projects and that you stitch by mood, I try to do that too to always enjoy what I have! Also I’ve said before but it’s great to see another stitcher my age ❤
Enjoyed every minute totally relate 😊 to your education and your stitching. Learning a lot from you already and definitely a new subbie!!! Beautiful work, especially love your Halloween Samplers and oh the historical ones about Queen Elizabeth one of my favorite times in history ❤
Just watched all of your wips and love them all! Great fabric choices, I’m working on HAED purrfect wisdom which is a owl story keep! Keep going with all your wips x
Aww, thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed! I thought it was so much fun to film! Yay for full coverage! I definitely need to start one of those at some point, but I'm scared!😂
@@TheMuseumStitcher I was too, then I found gridded Aida and evenweave and never looked back. Easier than my mirabilias less counting issues. The only thing about a haed is the time commitment, they are not quick! X
Thank you Bridgen. This was so much fun. Sat doing some halloween stitching whilst watching you which I plan to paint on tomorrow. You have some lovely WIP's. I agree I just sew and create as the mood takes me. I just enjoy what I do and don't have time in may life to be doing something that I don't enjoy doing any more. Having said that I do find that I often come back to a piece of work and change what I am doing with it or just fall in love with it again. So maybe just put to one side for now. So thank you for the time it has taken you to create this lovely video. Thank you and sending festive wishes your way. :)
Aww, thank you! I'm totally going to bench a few projects to marinate on them some more before I UFO them! As you saw, I've still got plenty of projects to work on in the meantime, lol! Festive wishes to you as well, thanks again!
I just found your channel today. It came up on my feed and am just floored at how organized and focused you are on camera and with all your beautiful projects. Your fabric choices are just down right amazing. I can’t believe you’ve only been stitching for 6 months?!😮😮. I can’t wait to see more. Oh! On the one where your using the coastal fabric and you were debating whether to continue it or not. I think you should finish out the 4th motif and just frame those 4 and ditch the rest .
Thank you, that is soo incredibly kind!!! I've actually been stitching for about a year and a half, but I've only been putting out flosstube videos for 6 months! So don't be too amazed lol!
I only recently discovered this realm of UA-cam. And only got into cords stitching I think either last year (2022) or late (2021) and holy 💩 there is so much to know. All I’ve done so far is 14 cut aida projects all 2x1
Yay!! I only started stitching in the summer of 2021 myself! I completely agree, there's a lot to get into on this corner of the crafty internet!😂 Thank goodness for youtube tutorials, right!
♥️ Figuring out WIP rotations is HARD! I'm constantly adjusting mine Loved the video! Love seeing your WIPS! I finished up part four of the Dark Queen of the Earth sal while watching, so thank you for the motivation and the inspiration to start a bunch of new stuff lol
I swear I need to write down all the methods other people use and try one a month this year! Oh I'm jealous that you're caught up on dark queen! I really need to kick my butt in gear on that one!
Olivia Ochreleaf and Autumn Cloche are in my stash too! I love the lettering on Olivia, it's so unusual. Your 12 days of Christmas is beautiful. 1 over 1 is really hard but it does look gorgeous.
Yay, WIP parade. X) If you decide to have a give away for Nevermore or other wips, I am in. :) I don't mind working on something already started. Before Flosstube (and the enabling) I tended to buy looks-complete-kits from thriftstores. The patterns aren't always anything I will keep after doing them, but hey, it is a cheap way to enjoy this hobby. Enjoyment is the important thing. If you are unhappy with the Summer quaker, restart it. Maybe do one or two more small things on your current work and cut out what you done, make a big bookmark or small picture with it. And then find a fabric and floss combo you enjoy better. Lovely fabric for the Dark queen. I am halfway through part 3 and need to get back to it myself.
Thank you! I'm going to participate in a UFO swap this upcoming year, so I'm saving it for that, lol! That's a great idea to finish out what I've got and turn it into something! I'll definitely keep that in mind! Thanks!
loved your parade and. your projects. I too am working on the Rosewood Manor Quakers - I'm doing Autumn and then hopefully Winter because I loved the colors. I didn't like using 3 strands, so I used 2 on the 28 ct. or maybe I'm working on 32 ct, can't remember. Not fond of the called for threads, but too invested to change now. So try using two - the 3rd strand I use when I have a small area and don't care if I have a variation showing.
Thank you! That's the change I'm thinking of making for sure, I just have to bring myself to scrap what I've got to change over to a smaller ply! But it's good to know that it's still looking great switching plies!❤️
Oh my gosh, don’t apologize! I’ve been feeling bad about being a terrible SAL partner, too. I only worked one or two more days on it, too. Would love to do another Zoom, though! Love you, love your stitching! It’s been fun to revisit all your stitching in this video. 🧡🌲 And, gosh, that Christmas Garden sampler. I keep resisting. But I love the idea of all the initials. ❤️
That pattern deserves better, lol! I'm committed to at least getting halfway though it in 2023! I think this year I'm only going to give myself one Halloween start to see if I can finish the Haunted Library and Halloween Quaker! We totally do need to zoom again! I hope your Live went well yesterday, I really wanted to join! Happy holidays friend!!❤️
I love ACOTAR, I didn't realize that fangirl fibers did a club for it! However, I just read the series for the first time this summer so I probably didn't know what it was. Now I want to do that piece you are doing! Also, I had just been looking at my WIP list before watching and what you said about only stitching what you love really made me realized I don't like half of my WIPs so I have some thinking to do!
It was a fun club for sure! I think it was only for 2022 though! She's doing a new one this year for all the Taylor Swift eras and I'm trying really hard to not sign up lol! I'm so glad you found ACOTAR this year! That series is so addicting! Wishing you luck with re-evaluating your stitching and wishing you a speedy needle! Happy New Year!
I am working on the Westmont Shawl by Toni Lipsey! I laughed so hard where when your washer/dryer went off, because I thought it was mine, and I actually went and checked! 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I love Toni's patterns!! I actually stitched a tunisian crochet shawl with fringe from her a few years ago that I love! Lol, that's hilarious! I actually thought mine went off again when I was editing the video!😂
❤Hi Brijn! Love your channel. I wanted to comment on Summer Quaker-it’s gorgeous, so don’t abandon it. Instead, try a different needle. Try a 26 count if you usually use a 28. I like Bohin for these threads because they seem a little sturdier. Pull a length off the Valdani ball and fold it over the eye of the needle, using the eye of the needle to make a sharp crease. Pinch it tightly between your fingers. You should easily be able to push the needles eye over that sharp crease in the thread. Don’t use just one ply of the thread (you’ll get to do that on Winter Quaker to your hearts content!). There may be other stitches on the pattern that will only require one ply and you want that texture difference. All of mine are on 32 ct and the Valdani works fine with that count. Give the bigger eye needle a chance and see if that doesn’t make your stitching life easier! ❤
Oh thanks for the suggestion, but I'm already using a 26 large eyed needle on that one! The needle threads fine, I just don't like the feeling of stitching with that thick of thread and getting it to lay right! I'm still marinating on how I'll change things around with that piece, but I really do appreciate the suggestion!
❤ you asked what we did while watching. I finished wrapping Christmas presents, then I pulled out No Planet B by Clouds Factory. It was a wows SAL, but I did it monthly in 22. I’m doing the last part, which are ombré letters which are slow going. On the seasonal Quakers if you aren’t displaying them together you could switch up the size and no one else would notice.
Glad to keep you company while you wrapped today! That pattern is so cute, I love all of the animals! You're so right on the sizing, but I was planning on hanging them together, so I'd like them to match!
When working on line you need to remember that your first stitch needs Tobe positioned right to start. You need to find the vertical thread that crosses over a horizontal thread, start on the bottom left. You only need to do this on the first stitch. No more having the stitch move behind.
Hello fellow Leo & Roxy Floss Co and Evertote enthusiast! I love that you requested the cloche conversion - I saw it on their website the other day and immediately ordered it. You’ve given me the idea to ask them to convert Huckleberry Farm by The Blue Flower. Currently working on the MFE/Evertote/L&RflossCo xmas mystery SAL - I fell behind (of course I did!) but I’m determined to finish it before the end of 2022! ❤️
Oh you're gonna love the conversion!! Did you see they rebranded yesterday? It's now just Roxy floss co! Oooh that conversion will be lovely!! I love everything the Blue Flower does! The next one I'm going to request is Winter Rose Manor by Brenda Gervais, I think it would be gorgeous in their floss!
Have you considered using 2 of the vandani threads instead of three. You would still have enough yardage, and you might be able to match the variegation. Depends on how it's dyed. I'm not sure if you could tell the difference on your project. Try it and see what you think. But my opinion is stitch what you love.
I have! I'll still have to unpick/restart them just so the thickness difference isn't so stark, which is why I haven't done it yet! But it's definitely an option!
@@TheMuseumStitcher Try stitching some before you pick it all out See if you can tell the difference. But stand a little away from it. Sure you can tell the difference when you are working on it
Hi. Love your projects. I have a suggestion for valdani threads.. they have 6 strands threads too in same colors .. you can destash 3 ply once and replace with 6 ply... I am using it too.. Hobby house needleworks has them.. so no new start..
LOVED seeing all of your projects! Thank you for this WIP parade. Will I be lucky enough to see you at weekend B of Stitch-Con or are you going to weekend A? ❤
Also, I appreciate that you pick project and set your goals, but that you let you moods rule what you stitch on and how much. We need spaces in our lives where we can be as moody as we need to be.
I completely agree!! This is meant to be an enjoyable hobby, so I try to remember that when I'm picking my projects lol! It's easy to get wrapped up in the planning aspect though for sure!
❤ Happy holidays! I enjoy seeing your wips. I have many of the same ones. I encourage you to finish Nevermore. I did, and is so cool hanging in my house. I keep it up all year. Also, don’t feel bad…I had to restitch that big motif 3 times! Talk about getting nowhere fast! If you don’t I don’t me asking, which museum do you work for ? I too have a degree in Museum Studies, but I’m in Maine! PM me if you don’t want to make that info public.
Thank you!! I totally would love the finished piece of Nevermore, I just never feel like working on it! I think someone else might get some more joy out of it than me! So I can't DM On youtube and I'm not sure what your insta is, so shoot me a DM @themuseumstitcher and I'd be happy to share! Us museum people gotta stick together!

Great WIP Parade. I was stitching on the second part of the Dark Queen of the Earth SAL as I watched this (I too am trailing behind lol). That Summer Quaker is so beautiful! I'd say stick with it if you can. I just love the look of it.
Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one behind on Dark queen, lol!
I love all your wips! They’ll b so pretty finished! Have a wonderful Christmas!!
Thank you!
Enjoyed your video. Love the cats! I’m a cat lady too. My favorite was the Glendon Place Reindeer, I liked it so much I went right to Glendon Place and ordered it with the supplies. I love how we all enable each other, lol.
Thank you!! Glad to have enabled you on that one, it's so pretty!! Happy stitching!
Hi, I loved all your gorgeous projects. I’m near you in Arlington. I look forward to seeing your stitching this year. Merry Christmas.
Thank you! Merry Christmas to you too!
Thank you!! Happy New Year and Happy Stitching!
❤️ Excited to watch what your doing!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed seeing all your beautiful projects and am excited to see what you pick for your 25 new starts. Happy new year!
Thank you!!! Happy New Year and Happy Stitching to you too!!
Thank you for your video! It was a fun one! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Take care and happy stitching!
Thank you for watching! Merry Christmas and happy stitching to you as well!
Happy to have found your channel! Beautiful stitching. I was in the ACOTAR fabric club as well! I can't wait to see your recharting of the quote. ❤
Aww, thank you so much!!
You have beautiful projects! I added several things to my wish list!
Thank you! Glad to have enabled you lol!
♥️ loved watching your wip parade. The autumn/spring/etc samplers your not enjoying I would personally change the fabric to what you love stitching on. Great to see someone else doing the autumnlane queen. I stitched while I watched. I got 200 stitches. Thanks.
Thank you! I think I might, I just have to get up the courage to scrap and start over!😂
I love your videos!! I am stitching Prairie Stitcher, December. I am a fellow Texan living in Colorado. Keep up the great work!
Ooh pretty!! Thank you!!
Lol, thank you!! Happy 2023 to you too! I love a good mix of DMC and fancy floss myself!
❤ lots of fun projects
Thank you!
You have wonderful wips!!
Thank you!
Beautiful WIPS. I’m in Fort Worth also. I worked on my list no more crosstitch while watching your parade.
Thank you!
Outlander is awesome.
The summer Quaker on blue fabric, you should continue with it, it’s going to be beautiful on that fabric. I watched your whole video ❤️. You do excellent stitching. I hope you finish those wips, they are beautiful. See you next time.
Thank you!!❤️
This was a fun wip parade!
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I stitched on my Dark Queen of the Earth (part 4) while watching you this week! Got 178 stitches in ❤ love a lot of your pieces and have added them to my "possible stitch plans" 😊
Omg that's fantastic!! I've been working on my dark queen the last few days too!!
@@TheMuseumStitcher Thanks. I’ve never heard of Stitch Fiddle.
I’ll have to try it!
@@TheMuseumStitcher Found the site, but failing miserably 🙁 Lol
Super fun Bridgen! ❤❤ looking forward to what you’ll be up to in 2023🎉
Aww, thank you!
Just found your channel. You are darling. I just live up the road from you. You really remind me of my granddaughter who’s degree is also history and loves English history. ❤️
Aww, thank you!!!
Awesome WIP parade. I loved the Autumn Cloche and now I wanna go get the Leo and Roxy conversion and start it!!
Thank you! It's such a great conversion! Not quite as pink as the cover photo, but I still love it!!
Another fantastic video! I love a good wip parade (and it doesn't hurt that our taste in stitching is fairly similar). I was working on Modern Folk Embroidery's 2018 Mystery SAL while I watched your video.
Thank you!! Your piece is absolutely stunning, I'm glad you got some good progress in on this insanely long video!😂💙
Enjoyed this. You were so organized and the cats were adorable. Was sure the tree was going to fall over in the end!!
Aww, thank you! Me too, honestly!😂
Hello from Azle, TX! It was so fun watching your video and all the beautiful WIPS! Your cat jumping to the box had me LOL!! ❤ Can’t wait for the next video!
Hey that's pretty close! lol! Thank you! He's such a ham!😂
Thank you! Their floss is literally so good! They just rebranded and are now Roxy Floss Co! The hand-dyed linen is such a game changer, I love it!
Thank you!! I sometimes feel like I don't get that much done, so it's nice to have everything summed up in one place! Happy New Year!!
Aww, thank you!!! I'm glad you got some good progress in!! Happy Holidays to you as well!
Your tree is beautiful and so are you!! 💓
Love your WIPS!! The stitchy process is the best!! Merry Christmas!! 🤍❤️💚❤️ Cute bloopers!!! 😆😆
Thank you!! Merry Christmas to you as well!
Love your projects and that you stitch by mood, I try to do that too to always enjoy what I have! Also I’ve said before but it’s great to see another stitcher my age ❤
Thank you Genevieve!!! That means a lot!❤️
Fergus is amazing! I haven’t laughed that hard in awhile. 😂
He's such a ham, I love that goofball so much!😂
I had to laugh when Fergus popped his head up out of the box. Happy holidays. ❤️
Right?! He's such a ham!😂 Happy holidays to you as well!
Enjoyed every minute totally relate 😊 to your education and your stitching. Learning a lot from you already and definitely a new subbie!!! Beautiful work, especially love your Halloween Samplers and oh the historical ones about Queen Elizabeth one of my favorite times in history ❤
Aww, thank you so much!! Funny thing is, I'm not even that much of a Halloween person, I just love all the spooky stitches!😂
Love seeing your WIP parade! While watching I was stitching on Christmas by Renato Paraolin. ❤❤
Wow, that pattern is gorgeous! I might have to add it to my stash!
Enjoyed your video!!
Thank you!
Enjoyed this so much and truly you have some beautiful WIPs! Super inspiring! 🌷
Aww, thank you so much!
Love that I don't have the only naughty kitty on Flosstube, LOL
Lol he's such a ham!😂
@@TheMuseumStitcher mine blocks my camera all the time while filming, I don’t edit so it’s a hot mess, he thinks it’s his Flosstube.
♥️
Figuring out WIP rotations is HARD! I'm constantly adjusting mine
Loved the video!
@@TheMuseumStitcher oh dude, I'm just more on the monogamous side and a total completionist. That's the only way I'm keeping up 🤣
Olivia Ochreleaf and Autumn Cloche are in my stash too! I love the lettering on Olivia, it's so unusual. Your 12 days of Christmas is beautiful. 1 over 1 is really hard but it does look gorgeous.
Yes!! I haven't heard of anyone else stitching Olivia and I think she's soo cool!
Outlander reference 😍
Yay, WIP parade. X)
If you decide to have a give away for Nevermore or other wips, I am in.
@@TheMuseumStitcher My Live was fun! I definitely plan to do more. Maybe a Live on the Halloween Quaker!
@@TheMuseumStitcher Ohh, maybe I should join the Taylor Swift clubs as a consolation prize for not getting a concert ticket!
For 1x1 try 2x1 tent stitch or half cross in the same direction as your top cross.
I did try that one, but I just prefer the look of a full cross!
When working on line you need to remember that your first stitch needs Tobe positioned right to start. You need to find the vertical thread that crosses over a horizontal thread, start on the bottom left. You only need to do this on the first stitch. No more having the stitch move behind.
Ooh that's an awesome recommendation, I haven't heard that before! Thank you! I'll still have to restart, but it's good info for the future!
Oh that's a great idea! I'll grab those for the future ones if I decide to change my ply! Thanks!
Cat in the box was a highlight! Oh the antics! Have you considered using just 2 strands of the Valdani?
Lol he's such a ham! I have, it just means restarting still and that's the mental hurdle I'm trying to leap! But I'll get there lol!
Loved this WIP parade! Also a huge Outlander fan. Can you tell me where you got it the Outlander needle minder?❤
Thank you! All my Outlander minders came from Mad for Minders on Etsy! Her magnets are seriously the strongest!!
LOVED seeing all of your projects! Thank you for this WIP parade. Will I be lucky enough to see you at weekend B of Stitch-Con or are you going to weekend A? ❤
Thank you! Unfortunately I’ll be at A!
Could you swap out the Valdani spool thread for their ordinary stranded floss? Enjoying your WIP parade
I'm definitely considering separating the strands! I'm just not sure if I want to start over or not lol! Thank you!

Awesome video. I really enjoyed seeing your WIPs! Also, I can't help but notice how crisp your video is. Kind of off subject but just wondering what camera you're using as I am thinking about starting a flosstube channel myself! Thanks so much!
Thank you! It's actually just the front facing camera on my iPhone, lol! I edit all my videos in Adobe Premiere and my film degree brother told me what export settings to use, so I can't take any credit!😂 Please let me know if and when you start your channel, I'll totally watch!

Don’t abandon the Quakers! They are beautiful and you have such good progress.
Do you visit Fancy Stitches in a Cleburne? If you are in Ft Worth, it’s so close to you. I’m west of Ft Worth and love Fancy Stitches and Stitch Niche in Arlington.
