Congratulations on your promotion! I went to school for Museum Management (not working in the field) and I am so envious that you get to work in one! Your pieces look so pretty, I love when you hold up your floss rings!
Congratulations 🎊 on finishing Practical Magic. I also finished it on Nov 4th, including the bottom shelf I did change the color of the shelf to one strand of black and one strand of grey, and I love the way it turned out. I worked on a Winnie-the-Pooh Birth Sampler kit from the 1990s, I did change the fabric. 💜💜💜
All of your progress is beautiful. My daughter is about your age and she highly recommended the book The Grace Year by Kim Liggett. I have it on my audible wish list. She did the audible version on her long commute each day and say it was great! Good luck.
I looove your “Equal in death” and your “Song of the Nightingale”! The color conversion is just amazing 🤩 I hope to start a Modern Folk Embroidery myself in the future, but it’s so hard to choose
I’m sure you’ve read the discovery of witches series but I recommend it to everyone. I would love to do a streaming stitch on the TV series cuz I love this story so much.
Love the all are equal in death finish! I’m getting motivation to start it. And I can’t wait to see song of the nightingale finished!! Love seeing the progress every month 😍
Thanks for the visit. I love your All are Equal in Death! What a great use of the floss variegation. Wonderful progress on your WIPs, and your sweater is going to be fabulous! 🧶
Just picked up knitting today!! I have 0 clue what I am doing!! I started casting on a project with circular needles using an awesome tutorial but my cord is too long so I’m going to get smaller ones tomorrow that the pattern I am using recommended! I was actually doing pretty ok for my first time ever! Thank god for the internet and the amount of how-to’s we have accessible to us!
Omg congrats!! There's definitely a learning curve, but it's so fun once you get the hang of it! I feel you though, UA-cam is the way I learned how to cross stitch, it really lets me feel like I can attempt anything!
Ha ha, I cracked myself up. I was watching your video after watching another UA-camr and the previous UA-camr had been talking slow so I put it on 1.5 speed and forgot about it. Then while I'm watching you, I'm thinking wow that tea must be super caffeinated. Lol. Then I realized how fast the video was playing and that you weren't talking that fast ha ha, great finishes, and a great video.
Congrats on the promotion! I'm currently stitching on The Lady and the Unicorn - Sense of Hearing by the Scarlet Quince. I've also been trying to get out of a reading slump and I've been trying to read different things to get out of it. The closest to your usual is A Coup of Tea, which is YA and is a cozy fantasy with really strong themes around community.
I love that you do all the crafts, Brijin. Your quilt squares are lovely. I am slowly working on an EPP Grandmother's Flower Garden. If it were my choice, I would make the cardigan as I get warm quite often. LOL. I've made 4 Musselburgh's so far and find they are a great knit, especially for on the go. I look forward to seeing your next episode. 🧶
🧶 I look for your videos, jumping on this perky blinder stitching wagon, brilliant idea! Usually if I am in a reading slump, I’ll listen to a audio book, the bookshop on the corner by jenny colgan. I crochet, I have about 7 projects going. Also stitching on the reverend gourdan squashbottom.
Great flosstube as usual! It’s not a romance novel, but I read The Housemaid by Freida McFadden last month and could not put it down! Also liked It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover ( the book begins where It Ends With Us stops).
🧶Can't wait to see your Pressed Flowers sweater. I like knitting pullovers more than cardigans, but cardigans are so much better for wearing at work. Love the episode, as always!
I'm really excited for it! Once I figure out my main color I think I'll end up getting both patterns to be able to read through the construction instructions! I think the pattern involves garter stitch (?), so I think it might be more enjoyable to knit flat as the cardigan! But I could be totally wrong!
Love all your projects! I just finished a pressed flowers project and had no clue what I was doing until I watched some UA-cam tutorials from Sun Dragon Tips & Tricks. Turns out mosaic knitting looks much harder than it actually is! Oh and I was about to cancel Starz a few weeks ago bc I couldn’t remember why I even subscribe. They kindly reminded me Outlander is returning, so super excited for that!! 🧶 Thanks for sharing!!
🧶😻 I’m soooo happy you like your project bag and thread bestie, Brijin!!! I said the exact same thing when I saw those scissors. 😂 📚 Have you tried Shady Hollow Mysteries by Juneau Black?! I heard it first recommended by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery ladies and I’m 3 books into the series now. It’s cozy but there is something forest animals living like people that’s got me. Foxes reporting the news. Ravens running the book store. I wish I could move there. 😂
congratulations on your promotion!!! 🧶honestly, i love the long videos. it's cool to see what you've worked on, and it's always great to have something to watch while i stitch. i'm currently trying to catch up on the needlelot mystery sal before the next part comes out on friday. as far as slump-busting books go, if you're into time travel, the timebound trilogy by rysa walker is a lot of fun and it's an interesting twist on a love triangle situation (i won't spoil it). otherwise, maybe graceling by kristin cashore?
Thank you! I honestly love the long videos too! I feel like I can really get in the groove of chatting! I added the Timebound trilogy to my list, thank you! I read Graceling last year and liked it!
I love your stitching! I'm so sorry if you've answered this before but could you share what lip products you use? They are always gorgeous and long lasting! Sorry if that is weird 😬
🧶🧶🧶 love the update! Currently knitting the Woolstock wrap with a color conversion and stitching Autumn Rules by Primrose, Vintage flowers by Jeanette Douglas and Bienvenue by Long Dog in begonia pink Weeks. As for reading slump busters, have you read Beginners Luck (trilogy) by Kate Clayborn? It’s fun, interesting and not at all intense or heavy. 🩷
Have you read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue? By VE Schwab. I am almost halfway through and really enjoying it. Thanks for a great video! My daughter is a museum curator for the National Park Service.
❤❤❤ I didn’t ufo Sarah moon I swear. LOL I just suck at pulling her out. I did make some of the same changes as you tho with the colors. I love the fabric too much to swap it but need to change those light colors. 🧶
🧶 such amazing projects!!! I am impressed with your progress. I wish I could get into knitting again. Just doesn’t hold my interest like cross stitch. Your sweater is fabulous!
Hmmm...V.E. Schwab, the author of the the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue (which is an excellent book, just as someone has already said) has a number of other books which are really good reads as well. One of her series, The Shades of Magic Series (3 books) is one of my favorites: It's thought provoking (not ponderous thought provoking, though) and imaginative and has an entirely different voice to it than Addie LaRue. Anything from the Chronicles of St. Mary's series by Jodi Taylor...I think you might enjoy them. I read several of the books (there are 15 books, starting with Just One Damned Thing After Another.) I think you might like the Chronicles... Mostly, of course, I'm a bit of a kind of stodgy old reader, but I HAVE been known to read something that's fun and more or less slightly oddball...
I love Addie LaRue, it was my top read of 2021! I did try the Shades of Magic series, but unfortunately I just couldn't get into it! The Chronicles of St. Mary's does look so fun though, I added it to my list, thank you!
🧶 What needles do you use by chance? I'm trying out my first set of cable needles and their bamboo , I kinda hate them and would love to get a really nice set of cables
They're expensive, but I bought a set of the Chiaogoo interchangables a couple years ago and I really love them! The cables don't tangle and the metal is so smooth! But they were definitely an investment! I've heard the KnitPicks metal interchangeables are similar to those but more affordable, but I haven't used those so I can't speak to it directly!
You are too busy. Quilting and knitting too! Can’t recommend a book as I don’t read Fantasy (except for the Discovery of Witches). My genres are Historical Fiction or any Michael Connelly! 🧶
🧶Thanks for sharing your stitching journey with us!
Loved all stitching even knitting. Love 🧶 colors
Thank you!
Thank you for the company! Wonderful projects!🧶🧶

I have multiple crafts also. I cross stitch, needlepoint, knit and crochet. And I love to read. Sometimes it’s hard to choose what to work on.
Congratulations on your work promotion! Beautiful stitching and knitting!thank you for sharing! Happy Stitching!🧶
Thank you! Happy stitching to you too!
I’m sure you’ve read the discovery of witches series but I recommend it to everyone. I would love to do a streaming stitch on the TV series cuz I love this story so much.
Song of the Nightingale is gorgeous! Love your colors!
Love the all are equal in death finish! I’m getting motivation to start it. And I can’t wait to see song of the nightingale finished!! Love seeing the progress every month 😍
You're gonna love working on it! The finish is so worth it!

That's hilarious, and also something I've totally done before! 😂😂 The extra irony is the tea was uncaffeinated lol!
Thank you!
Beautiful finishes! I can't wait to see the sweater finished!
Thank you! Me too!
Practical Magic looks awesome!

I'm really excited to make a musselburgh! I'm hoping it'll be the perfect knit for taking on walks!
🧶 oops I forgot to put the yarn. 😂

With the sweater - the neckline is gonna shrink in a lot when you pick up to do the ribbing. It might not feel as oversized once that is done! 💜
Great flosstube as usual! It’s not a romance novel, but I read The Housemaid by Freida McFadden last month and could not put it down! Also liked It Starts With Us by Colleen Hoover ( the book begins where It Ends With Us stops).

@@TheMuseumStitcher You could totally be right!
I read a book you recommended “The Dictionary of Lost Words.” A very interesting and great read!
Aww, yay! I love hearing that!

I've been watching some of those tutorials in anticipation! I'm still nervous to try it but hopefully it'll turn out lol!
Hi Brigin! Check out the Sock Arms sweater. You might like it for your Eras yarn!
Oh that's so cute!! The eras colors would be gorgous with that!
❤❤❤

Loved the update! I'm currently reading The Golden Wolf series by Shannon Mayer - romantasy/ fun take on Norse mythology. fun read.
Okay I just read the description and laughed out loud, it sounds so fun!!
I love your stitching! I'm so sorry if you've answered this before but could you share what lip products you use? They are always gorgeous and long lasting! Sorry if that is weird 😬
The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni busted my reading slump. It’s YA fantasy and pretty cheesey but extremely readable.
Thank you!
🧶 You do awesome videos 🧶
Thank you! 😊

Ooh I'm adding it to my Storygraph now!
🧶 hi from France! 🪡✨
Bonjour! 😉
Maybe try a tribute of fire by sarah wilson. Its romantasy and sort of a greek/roman culture
Added it to my list! Thank you!
I am going to be in Argyle Texas today. To pick up a puppy. Longest trip to get a dog for me ever.
Omg how exciting! I hope those new puppy snuggles are good!!
Have you read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue? By VE Schwab. I am almost halfway through and really enjoying it. Thanks for a great video! My daughter is a museum curator for the National Park Service.
Yes! I've actually read it three times at this point, it's one of my favorites!

@ lol cause I haven’t worked on it in like two months 🫣🫣🤣
🧶 such amazing projects!!! I am impressed with your progress. I wish I could get into knitting again. Just doesn’t hold my interest like cross stitch. Your sweater is fabulous!

Ooh I haven't! I'll definitely check that out, thank you!
Hi, can you share the pink color conversion for Song of the Nightingale? It's soo pretty! I want to start that pattern too and I love pink 😊
Of course! I'm using DMC 782, 3685, and 3687!
We have HTeaO in Bedford TeXaS too
It's so good, I might have a slight obsession lol!

Do you not eat during your lunch break? 😂

Did you say you live in Ft Worth? I live in Ft worth❤
Why is eqval in death not spelt equal.
Historically speaking, particularly in latin, the letter v was used for both v and u! So it's rooted in latin, but gives the piece an antiqued feel.
