Loved every one of your WIPS! I cannot believe how much Stitching you get done, do you have eight hands?!😂 Sending you big hugs, can’t wait to see all these beauties in 2023🎉
Thank you for sharing Amanda, I love getting comfortable and diving into your videos. Please tell un more about your weather. You encourage me to stitch bigger projects !
Wow I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Mill Hill Christmas Village project you're working on! It looks soooo good and I can't wait to see more progress on it this year.
Hi Amanda! 👋🏻 You have so many great WIPs! Thanks for sharing them. I started 16 new things in 2022 so I too finished the year with a few more WIPs than I started it. 😆 I’ve never participated in WIPGO before but I like how you’ve set yours up. I might have to try that in the future. I’m booked for the May weekend of Stitch North as well but I’m actually thinking of canceling my registration to allocate those funds towards another endeavour. 🙁 Wishing you and your family all the best in 2023! ❤️
The Mill Hill Village project is epic! Your magnum opus. It's beautiful even before the beads and backstitch. I imagine this will be an heirloom piece. Thanks for sharing all of your plans. It's enabling for sure. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄
Happy New Year! I'm just catching up on watching...it's so cute...there's a UA-camr who famously says in his videos 'whoops, oh, I'll edit that out', but he leaves it in! You did really great on your WIPGO. I did ok, hey anytime a 15-yo WIP gets finished, that's a win for me! It keeps me on track, too! You have so many great finishes for 2022!!
An enjoyable video to watch this morning. Amanda. Your finishes are gorgeous! Loved the wips and look forward to seeing your progress in 2023. What a sweet surprise to hear my name for QOP - thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🤗 Lisa
I love all of your projects! You came up on my UA-cam feed and I am so happy that happened! I have most of the Mill Hill Christmas Village kits and have not started them because I wanted to do more than just stitch them on the perforated paper!! I almost died when I saw your piece! It is absolutely gorgeous and now I am motivated to do something similar! I cannot wait to see your progress with all of your beautiful pieces in 2023 - happy new year!
I find your finishes amazing. One that I really like is the lady holdng a cat. do you know where I find yhe patttern? Keep going with your stitching, it's beautiful!!
Thank you! The pattern is by sharova stitch. She is on Instagram and the link to her VK page is there. Unfortunately, she is in Russia so not sure if you can get it right now.
Love love this video and your stitching is awesome! Where may I purchase the Mill Hill Christmas Village charts? I would love to stitch a few of them. You have inspired me so much! Merry Christmas 🎄
Your projects are always so gorgeous! I am also working on Passion Flower Bridesmaid. I am using a light lavender colored fabric. I had a hard time picking a fabric color for this one.
@@luckychancestitcher I married into the Coates family. My SIL went to England and met more of the family, also have some of the Coates located in California and Tennessean
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! Can you tell us how you get so much stitching done? Do you have a set schedule for when you stitch? I have so many projects--I'd like to stitch faster so I can get them all done.
Thank you! I don't have a schedule. I stitch about an hour a day. A few years ago, i started stitching in hand using the sewing method and i found that it cut my stitching time to complete a project in half. This is because you are only stabbing your fabric twice instead of four times to complete one stitch. There are tons of tutorials on this method. I will say it takes a bit of tjme to adjust to this method but it is well worth it. Hope that helps.
Was very happy to see your video, your projects are so pretty! I started Portrait of Lauren back in the summer and made a mistake in her neck and got so upset, she was my first Fancy Lady, I understand that in Feb there is going to be a SAL called Fancy Lady Feb. so I may bring her back out and only work on her for that month. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and lots of luck on all those projects. Happy Stitching!
Hi Amands, thank you for sharing your beautiful projects, some serious enabling for me! I'll be at StitchNorth in May too, hope to meet you there! Merriest of holidays to you and yours!
Thanks! Unfortunately, this designer is in Russia. Other viewers have indicated that they are not able to purchase from her. She is on Instagram if you want to follow her or see when she is able to sell to other countries again.
Oh my!!! This was so much fun to watch, Amanda! thank you for sharing it all! Love all your projects you have stitched and stitching them now! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! ❤❤❤
What a wonderful video. I love your Mill Hill Village. Your Mira's are gorgeous. I'm have Touching the Autumn Sky as a WIP. Did you start Seaside Kingdom in the middle ? I have it kitted up with the same fabric. I wasn't sure where to start. I love the finished Fairy on the half moon. It's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing. Happy stitching and Merry Christmas.
Thank you for your kind words! I didn't start seaside in the middle. I lined up the shoreline on the pattern with the section where the brown transitions to the blue. Merry Christmas to you also!
Love your Mill Hill project. Do you have a list of all the different kits you are stitching? I know some will be out of print but that would give me an idea what to look for
Thanks! If you go to the mill hill website, it will show you all the ones that are still in print. I think most of them are still available but some of the older ones are a bit more difficult to source. www.wichelt.com/detail.html?pid=162407
Loved your Wip parade! I’m getting ready to start Lady of the Mist next year and she will be my first Mira (fancy lady in general actually lol). I’m so excited! ❤
Thanks Alicia! That's a big lady for your first one!🤣 Although it's probably only a small fraction of the size of some of your full coverage projects! Fancy lady stitching is addictive! You will love it!
Your finishes and wips are beautiful! I have the Wind Moon Fairy , but haven’t started it yet. What colorway is that fabric you’re using for it? I noticed you mention the fabrics, but never the colorways used. I would love to know what was used for the Dimensions kit. ❤
Thank you! A lot of the fabrics I'm using are hand dyed by rolanda fabrics and they are one of a kind so that is why the fabrics don't have names. You could contact her and ask her if she could try to dye something similar. She is on etsy.
OMG! Your houses are breathtaking!! I love it so much!!
I love the houses. Beautiful job. All your pieces are beautiful as well.
