Thanks for the video man hope you’re all good now. I partially tore my tricep three weeks ago it’s been a struggle in my mind mostly. This made me feel better. I’m 44 years old.

Great video Matt, beginning my journey soon! Recently had a complete tear of my tricep due to an automobile accident. Not being able to train is depressing. Seeing a surgeon today! Thanks for the video!

Respect man, tendon tearing sucks! Be careful with the recovery of you training!. Wish you the best of luck.

Thanks man. I am four weeks away from lifting again. PT is going well, I hope to be ok. Almost time to gear up.

Hello Matt. I just had this exact surgery 11 days ago. My question to you is -- how long after surgery did you wait till you started to ride a stationary bike?

Thanks for doing this video series. I'm a competitive bodybuilder just suffered a 70 percent tear on November 17th, had surgery yesterday. How was your pain after the surgery? I can't get comfortable even with arm elevated and the pain killers barely touch it.

Larry Criswell sorry that happened! At least it wasn’t a compete tear. I didn’t really have much pain afterwards. I only took pain killers for two days and then I had enough of those. Are you in a sling with a sort of cast?

Matt Cooper, I am now in a motion limiting brace limited from 0 to 60. I am 3 weeks out of surgery. The scar on the back of my arm looks bulky, thick and nasty? Did yours look bad at first? Also it is super tight and stiff how was your ROM in the first 3 to 4 weeks?

Larry Criswell my scar looked bad too but it went down fast. I was super tight for a few weeks. I was so afraid it would tear again that’s how tight it felt. Keep adjusting that brace every couple days. Once you’re out of it, it will still feel stiff, then one day it will go away completely. I remember I was in the shower and all of the sudden able to use that arm to wash my opposite shoulder. It was like the best day ever haha I wasn’t expecting it it just happened

How quickly did your ROM progress, I'm just shocked at how hard it is to stretch. I'm only able to get it to 90 degrees of flexion and it feels like I couldn't get it further applying a ton if force. Everyday when I wake up it feels like the progress I made before just starts over again

Hey Dale, how is the rehab going since you've been pack to the gym post surgery?

Smurfy702 thanks for asking! Rehab is complete and seems successful. I began training again last week. Taking it slow and smart. Benched 185 for three sets of ten last week and it felt good. Going to try 225 today for the same sets and reps. Gained a lot of size back already. Tricep work still feels weird in that elbow. I will continue posting video as progress happens!

Can you recommend any supplements which helped in healing and rebuilding ?

You were foolish to lift such heavy bench press
