    I had the triceps injury 3 weeks back from a hard fall while playing football, I did x-ray on the day of injury and avulsion of the bone was confirmed. my doctor advised to have MRI after 3 weeks, and the result appeared that I suffer from almost complete tear of my triceps. I will be doing my surgery by this week. wish good luck to all, and my appreciation goes to all doctors who are working day and night to cure us.

    I was doing skullcrushers last week and felt a pop stopped doing the exercise and left the gym pretty much afterwards. I rested over the weekend and 3 days up to Wednesday (today). I tried to do heavy shoulder press and upon snapping the dumbbell into position felt the pop again and quit for the day... the pain is in the long head (if my arms are relaxed at my sides it's the head nearest my armpit) I have no bruising and no lack of mobility in the arm it just feels slightly sore when stretching but I can still put light weight on it with little to no pain depending on the orientation. My buddies said I probably just strained or pulled it and to take a couple weeks off of heavy tricep stressing movements. Have I torn it? I'm a bodybuilder and have to be able to lift

      Frank Guerra I've been having that too now, has yours healed. If so, please let me know how? cause I'm trying to get back to the gym.

      Sehad Saeed well so far so good, I did little to no tris for a few weeks (probably close to a month) stretched a lot, did chest normally, then started back up with light tricep exercises and now I'm back up to par. I've been staying away from skullcrusher motions just to be safe and I'm still weary of my tricep when doing tris and shoulders haven't tried pushing heavy weight. It's better to work back up slowly than rushing and injuring it again. You will be okay just don't push it, you don't want to tear the muscle!! Stretch a lot, hit chest if you can and slowly work into some light tricep movements!

      Frank Guerra when I do chest, I do get the pain again on the regular bench press.

      Same broo it feels about like gain pains but Instantly out of nowhere and it only hurts when you lift weight with your tricep I have no pain near the elbow and mobility is fine I was searching for ages to find what it is

      Hello, is your elbow still ok? Ive been searching for long time what is it. I can lift normally but when it comes to the military press, skullcrushers, benchpress and other exercises my elbow is on fire. Also when I try to flex my biceps it hurts (probably because triceps is flexin aswell). I have it on both arms but right one is worse. Whats your advice? I was about to hit my benchpress PR and now Im done :( Thank you in advance!

    I was doing tricep pushdowns with one arm , only with a resistance band , and i felt simethung ,like my tricep was gonna burst , someaone could help me?

    I had tendon rupture surgery 2 years ago and still dont have strength on my right elbow

    Thanks for sharing..I have this problem, my heart doctor says to live with it, it stays sore all the time,I can't write with my right hand , can't push or pull , sometime I can't bend it enough to eat.. I just notice long head soreness today ...Heck of a way to live..Good luck all

    How effective is the surgery? Will it get back to 100%?

      aneez rafi once you tear a muscle it will truly never be the same unfortunately :/ not saying you can't get back to where you were and some but it will take a good 8 weeks and then afterwards you have to train light and there's no saying it could ever be the same :/ shitty. I've torn a pec and think I tore or strained my tricep now

    In the middle of my lower arm, I can generate a nuckle for every five seconds. Both hands. Unlimited nuckles is generated.

    Sir i am having long head pain when ever i throw anything like suppose a ball but i dont feel any pain after some time it goes away completely and never comes back until i throw anything again i am having this problem for almost 10 years now can u help me out

    I lift the same weight on both arms(triceps) and my left is much bigger than my right when I flex and when I flex my right I don’t get the tricep lateral head like I do on my left it’s almost like it’s not there, idk for sure but could it be a tear?

    I've been over eight weeks of therapy and I still cannot bend my arm 90% yet anyone else have this problem

      I'm 6weeks post surgery and was struggling to get to 90deg. until i was allowed to remove my brace for longer periods of time and get more blood flow. Ive made so much more progress in the last few days since spending more time out of my brace. For me keeping the swelling down has been a battle and has been my main obstacle. Thats where im at so far.

      @MisterMooCow hey bro i have the problem with my triceps i feel pain and it hurts when i move my arm btw yesterday i worked push ups about 200 for short time...I hope i will be ok i think its lower triceps

    I tried dip and this happened shit i can't do push up feels like going to pop up😫
