You are right it looks messed up, but most dead bugs do. But fish love dead bugs, so I would think the bluegills also. You are getting a large collection of bluegill busters now. Be blessed. My friend.

I really planned on using this for trout. Size 14 is a little small for the bluegill. In any case, I think both would hit it. Thanks
