Other than ND filters, you'll pretty much never find people using lens filters to change the color (unless they're trying to emulate a specific type of camera, like in Saving Private Ryan or something).
My biggest phobia is needles so this scene on it's own is absolutely terrifying. But breaking it down like this and showing step by step how the scene was carried out and how much work was put into it, it becomes much more of a work of art than a creepy scene. Mostly because you know exactly how it's not real
The arm already looked real at this video.... In the postproduction the're working with filters, color-correction a.s.o..... It would be ridiculous if you could notice it in a film with such a "big" budget :D

So yeah, this is a huge part of my phobia aha.

This trap was one of the nicer traps IMO. It just doesn't seem as bad as the other traps. However this trap would definitely be the worst trap if the needles were INFECTED, that would make the trap a lot more terrifying.
