In the movie's defense, this was made by 2 recent film school graduates that could only afford 1 room to record in. The movie became very popular if you consider the circumstance.
@@MrParkerman6 Because the movie was "set to fail"? I mean, how many other movies got this popular and were done in a bathroom plus some other room with furniture being changed every other scene?
As much as I like the SAW series, my only complaint is that Amanda's test was different to most of the other ones, where she had to do something to someone else, instead of herself. It didn't come as painful to her, thus making it easier for her to succeed in her test.
+Headphones Girl If I remember correctly, I think the body was her boyfriend. It was preying on her morality moreso than how much pain she could withhold. Although that's a really good point.
+l4dyfett I don't think it was Cecil, I'm pretty sure he was the first one to die. Most every other test is set up so that in order to succeed, you have to inflict pain on yourself. However, her test involved no self inflicted pain, meaning it would be a lot easier for her to succeed.
That's probably because Jigsaw already planned to make her an accomplice, so it would be easier for him to have her deprived of anything else she could hold on. He probably took the place that her boyfriend had in her mind, so it was easier to convince Amanda.
Are we just going to ignore that Lawrence couldn't reach the phone by about 5 inches, then instead of using the almost foot long saw to grab it, cuts off his own foot
To be fair he was in a crazy, out-of-his-mind state he might not have been in the perfect state to judge logically...plus by that point he'd have figured out that Jigsaw has thought out every possible angle and that he'd have to do what he says in order to save his family
I think it was pretty obvious Jigsaw would've been on the other side of the phone, saying game over or something. He hates people who take life for granted, and getting a phone with a shirt or something would not prove to him they care about being alive, it would've been a purposely set trap, the best outcome there was, was the ending.
It is said the writers thought about that but scrapped it considering the thickness of the pipes, also a lot of rusty pipes are deceptively hard to saw through, specially with the shitty ass saws they were given in this game
@@vitorsamuel777 so that's a sewage drainage pipe (shit pipe) made of cast iron. You could literally break the pipe with almost any solid, hard item. I've literally used the thick plastic handle of a reciprocating saw to break one when after I forgot you can't cut cast iron. So you're right, but you could literally break that pipe with the saw instead
It's gonna be so weird when people start directing movies with Cinema Sins in mind. "Sir, the movie's done. It's got 68 seconds of logs at the beginning." "Oh, okay...WAIT, NO!"
The thing about that is people who make movies already account for these "sins". The have to make a movie so they really dont care about them and most of them are on purpose anyway.
That always bothered me. How is he supposed to know?! He wakes up, UNDERWATER, and anyone's first reaction would be "OH SHIT! I GOTTA BREATHE!" and not "hum, water, is it? Better search with my hands real quick to see if any important items are also in this tub..." Like how was he ever supposed to get it before or after? Also, the guy with the safe combination. "It's written on the wall." Okay, let's take a- HOLY WTF! There's nothing but numbers all over! No rhyme or reason, no clear code or pattern, no means at all to discern which are the numbers he needs. Give the guy a chance! I thought that was the whole point of the tests, to allow them to take back their lives and realize that they are worth living (and better) after all.
@@sambrittain4164 no, he kills them. I get he had his own twisted logic but if you put a person into a death trap and they die, you killed them. It's really frustrating to see folks in the comments drinking his kool-aid.
I heard the original idea was to have her gut a dog to get the key, but that was deemed too horrific. So they made her gut a living human being instead. Much better.
During the scene in the when the guy was starting choke,I seriously thought he was dropping a beat and the two would rap battle to death.... This is why I'm not allowed to write horror movies
For those who are afraid: saw has less than 5 jumpscares in the whole series and the story is amazing. I can recommend it for everybody if you don't mind disgusting bloody scenes
I don't think people avoid Saw because of Jump Scares, but... you know... the torture and the horror and the gore, you know? Edit: Just started SAW III and fuck no, I'm not gonna watch any of this shit.
MISSED ONE -- How ironically ungrateful is Jigsaw?! He is like the only cancer patient to ever live with enough mental and physical strength to do ALL of that....and he decides to possibly kill the man in charge of his actual treatment.
MISSED ANOTHER: In Saw 2, John Kramer AKA Jigsaw says, and I quote: "I despise murderers." In this movie, the first Saw film, he hires a man to murder an innocent woman and her young adorable daughter if one of the test subjects does not complete his task in time, so I call *"BULLSHIT!!!"* on that statement. John Kramer is a fucking hypocrite. If he were truly against murder, he would leave this man's innocent wife and daughter the hell out of it. The ONLY reason why that woman and her daughter got free is because the woman freed herself, then freed her daughter. It's not like it was John's will for this to happen or even Zepp's.
@@DavidWildmouth nobody had to die technically. if the key to adam's chain hadn't gone to the drain in the beginning, adam would have freed himself and so could lawrence - by sawing his foot off and by that, nobody would have to die or at least that's how i got it
6:43 Actually CinemaSins, Lawerence Gordon is in the game to show him that he needs to appreciate his life more. He saw John Kramer as a dying patient, not as a human being. Jigsaw also gave Gordon hints and if Gordon paid attention to his patients, he would've known who Jigsaw was.
Was the game really testing to see if he would appreciate his own life more? Because it seemed like it was making him care for the lives of his family more. He was worried about their well-being more than his own. If Gordon was tested because he didn't care about the lives of his patients, then it would make more sense that he would be tested to value the lives of others. I mean, he was neglectful towards his daughter and was almost going to cheat on his wife. This test got him to care about them more. But things start falling apart when the game requires him to take Adam's life. So he needs to take away a life to appreciate life? Makes no sense.
@@KhaosFrosty thats why its considered that he "won", because he didn't take Adam's life, showing that he does value others lives. He cut his foot off for his family's lives, and even when told that if he took Adam's his family would live he didn't showing he in some way cared about Adam's life too. He won the game by not doing what he was told to do but rather doing what he thought was the right thing to do
@@basedostrich I guess that makes a bit more sense. It's still screwed up that he was expected to knowingly let his family get killed by sparing a stranger that tried to ruin his life if he was to appreciate life. Sure everyone would have probably lived in the end and Zepp was probably told to spare them if Gordon went the foot cutting route in time, but still..
the only thing i don't like about cinema sins is that i can no longer watch movies without pointing out every single teeny tiny flaw about them. but it's also the best thing.
the part where she stabs him in the stomach to get the key always bothered me. she's not stabbing him like she's looking for a key; she's stabbing him like she wants him dead
try cutting into flesh and tough bloody organs with care and patience with a tiny knife in 30 seconds or less... there wouldn't be a plot in jigsaw 2 or 3 if you were in the movie. you'd be dead.
I come here to watch scary movies that my friends talk about so that I can focus on the terrible story line instead of being scared with emotions about the movie... in other words I come to cinema sins to watch scary movies because it makes them less disturbing.
Ideally, that's a good safe idea but isn't watching a horror movie without any preview make it that much entertaining? Granted, though it might serve a few emotional scars and some psychological therapy bills to pay for in the future but what do I know. :)
Just watched this movie and really enjoyed it! For anyone interested in a fun fact I noticed, if you pause at 7:24, you can see that John Kramer is holding Dr. Lawrence's penlight in his hand. This explains where he got it and how he managed to 'frame' him. Just thought it was a cool thing that I haven't seen anyone point out yet.
@@brice2710 even if they found john kramer's fingerprints, they will find he is a brain cancer patient so the detectives would never think a cancer patient is responsible and has no criminal history before
fun fact: murder is defined as purposely creating the situation that directly causes the death of someone... so... yeah, jigsaw is a murdered, plain and simple
Alpha 1 Actually he was talking about the person, it may be helpful to reread the comment. He was referring to jigsaw at the end which was what the second commenter was referring to. The interesting part though, is that the first commenter has the definition of murder wrong. Murder is the unlawful killing of another him being, so the doctor is correct. Technically, Jigsaw is not a murderer, but he would most certainly be found guilty in court, due to his actions creating the circumstance of death.
even if there are a few mistakes in this movie, y'all have to remember that ir was a low budget movie they filmed in 18 days with under 1 million$ and no rehearsal. they just went with everything as it happens which is pretty impressive in my eyes.
Kai Lyman Is....that your best comeback? Grammar problems? i always thought that, when kids gets surrounded by any comment they head straight to the grammar. Which is unnecessary as long as you understand what the other person want. I wonder...why so many stupid kids these days.
Good sir, ask yourself. You're Sasuke Uchiha. You have other things to do besides making jokes. Orochimaru didn't break his back taking your ass in to have you go on UA-cam and beg for a rotten tomato to be thrown at you. Way to piss on the graves of the Sound 4.
Kai Lyman You have many flawless mistakes in your speech which is...not valid in my opinion and it will never be, however. I don't think you're different then me when it comes to "Do things" Why don't you do something valuable with your life as well instead of staying here commenting on a pointless argument?
Abigail Lantz It's more of a splat movie, scary movies make horror, splat movies make disgust etc (I know saw is not only that, but it is genred as splat)
Owen True Because it's actually cool movies that's not all about killing and torture like hostel, no these movies actually make you think, I know I should probably not feel like these movies have helped me, but they have, I diden't appreciate my life as a teen, but then I saw these movies and I thought that maybe I should appreciate it, not because I was afraid of getting killed in the worst way ever, but before you know it your life is over and you don't get a second chance. That's pretty much what I feel the message is in the series, that we should all appreciate it and thinking that there are people that are in deeper shit than us, but they are actually fighting to live.
Don't know how's in US but in Italy, when Army service was still mandatory, during the medical checks visits, fingerprints were collected. If i recall correctly, when applying for passport too
@@cwstewartjr1973 Really? I thought that all Russia did was make steroid freak boxers who can't beat Italian American boxers, build nukes, and get killed by Rambo. You guys must hate Sylvester Stallone for killing your armies. Twice.
Amanda sits there without ever triggering the trap, roasting Jigsaw about how she needs to get to work to afford her heroin. Why was this not in a parody.
One thing you could’ve added was that Tapp and Sing don’t try and contact any other police units to back them up when they found Jigsaw’s hideout. If they had at least two units they would have probably caught him.
+TheMythof Feminism i am a doctor too, and even with those depressants the breathing is not completely abolished. With the level showed in the movie you would need external mechanical ventilation, because he doesn't had any respiratory effort. It is just unreal, not even with some drugs that cause "fake death" you have that result (and with a high risk of real death). My father is anesthesiologist and he even laugh with that ...
+TheMythof Feminism no, you are wrong, that was not a resting position for starters ... It is simply unrealistic, just accept it. You can lower your breath for so many time without anyone noticing in that position without using a drug who would risk your live ... Of course you would need some breathing assitance, and that is just one of the millions of mistakes that awful movie has.
The one about they not noticing the "dead body" of John breathing is interesting, since all the bathroom scenes were shot in one day, and the actors of Lawrence and Adam were told that there would be a puppet in the middle of the room, so when he reveals himself, their shock is genuine, which means that Tobin Bell had to lay there for hours without them noticing, and it worked.
@@jacobbellingham1839 Exactly, so it comes a bit off when cinemasins says as if this were a mistake from the film, when even the actual actors were fooled by it, why can't the characters not notice also?
The bathroom scenes were filmed over a period of six days, which makes is even more impressive that Tobin Bell was lying on the floor during that entire shoot (they offered to make a dummy, but he said no), but the other actors in the scene knew it was coming (Adam was even played by Leigh Whannell, who wrote the script).
these movies have such a flawed concept "you know what would make people appreciate life more? me threatening to kill them unless they make a sacrifice. then they get to live with possibly a life threatening injury, almost certainly giving them ptsd amongst other psychological disorders, and then they get to die from said injury, or kill themselves due to how fucked up their brain is!"
SBEG in the first movie it's way out of place but if I remember as the series goes on the crimes the punishments and tests are more an extreme wake up call for more extreme people, but that's going off of years old memories and let's face it, we don't remember these for characters
Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought Adam was supposed to get the key, allowing him some freedom and giving him power over Lawrence, and that it was poor luck or bad planning on Jigsaw's part that it went down the drain. I mean, Jigsaw made some pretty big mistakes across the series
Hank Wimbleton Um, that crazed ranter aside, I think later in the SAW franchise is was revealed his assistant set that up and she designed his games to be unwinnable or something. I don't really know for sure, I only half pay attention to these movies.

He didn't. One time they're electrocuted while the guy watching the wife and kid is in a car chase. Later at the end of the movie, you can see Jigsaw uses it when the one guy who doesn't survive pulls the gun on him.
DeScrow to be fair, some industrial strength pipes are an inch thick. Unless that is serious rusting which it doesn't look like it, no hacksaw will be able to do that in the time limit
DeScrow because john Kramer or zep or Hoffman or Amanda (its never determined the first time)would electrocute them because there is no cheating in his games
Ironically, Jigsaw's method is to make each trap solvable in some way. He's obviously very precise when it comes to designing them and putting them together. Yet he didn't think of the possibility of the key going down the drain.
@@georgechester3111 So why did he tease Adam with keys in the end and said to him that game is over? He knew, that she did this, and still didnt even give chance for Adam. It is not fair. John is hipocrite with god complex. Why didnt he punish only rapist, killers, etc? Yeah, cheating doctor and photographer, fucking evil guys, satans.
+Baker Mayweather Adam's saw broke afther a few minutes of trying. So are we gonna assume that for reasons the otther asshole's saw was 10 times more resistent ?
6:26 "Are we really supposed to believe that he didn't need to breathe for six hours?" Wait till Saw III. That'll tell you how the fuck he managed to do that.
I'm sure others have left this comment but Jigsaw was able to slow down his heartbeat or some shit to make it seem as if he was dead. Awesome video nonetheless.
TheStitchpanda he didn’t cut his foot off to reach the phone. The fact that he couldn’t reach it made him realize his family is in great danger and he lost it
Saying he isn't a murderer is like saying, if I shoot someone in the stomach and make the wound just small enough that they could possibly make it to a hospital before they bleed to death, does that make it not murder if they bleed to death?
The one sin I hated was that he was going to have the mother and daughter killed to prove a point to the Dr. That would be 2 innocent people, esp. the kid. I'm not sure the daughter was wasting her live away at her age. Soooo inconsistent. People with this kind of weird morality would at least stick to it. The writers make jigsaw a tool for all these stupid scenarios.
1) When a human being falls asleep in a bathtub they slowly sink down into the water, usually the person wakes up when their body begins to drowned and they naturally rise up out of the water to breath. 2) Yeah its a key.... how is that something wrong? 3) Adam was put in water for the ability to save the key and save himself. It was to make the game fair for Adam. Sadly it didnt pan out very well and Adam paid with his life. 4) There are many people on this world who would try to lighten the mood with a joke, his "joke" as you called it was a legit worry of urban legends of people getting their kidneys stolen. 5) Saying his Kidneys would be on ebay was obviously a joke, so that would be like him saying "Oh my God" and you complaining that there is no God and its a flaw. 6) Adam pulled the envelope from his back pocket but he falls face first out of the tub, how would it have been smashed? Also he was laying in a tub that was very small for him so he would have started sitting up in a way that his pants wouldnt be able to crush the tape then slowly slid down into the water. 7) They had like 6 hours to get the tape player, not to mention looking in the top of the toilet would eventually be something one of them would have thought of on their own, the chain that makes the toilet flush isnt much shorter then the chain from the tub he uses. He would have then found the hacksaws and could hand attached that to the end of his shirt and used that to get the tape player. Also Jigsaw as it was explained a bit later in the movie at this point is out cold cant feel or do anything until the drugs where off, he would have timed it to end shortly after the timer ended so after the game ended he would have gotten up and said your both left here for death game over. 8) They lay on their bellies and are roughly 5 feet away from the body in the middle of the room, they are roughly 6 feet tall, with about a good foot of slack away from the wall or so... the room would be about 30 feet from door to back wall, even a girl could get something 22 feet away from them. 9) They are stuck in a room together, he doesnt see Larry trying to kill him just yet so he doesnt want to go against the grain and give him a real reason to kill him. Hence why he hides who he is and what he does for so long. 10) He rewinded it a couple times in the scene and went back a little too far each time, so the cliche idea of "perfect timing" is majorly flawed. 11) Again Adam didnt see Larry trying to kill him or showing signs that he would kill him, not to mention look at his face when he is first asked to toss the hacksaw, he has a hint of doubt but decides that Larry is on the up and up and not going to hurt him. 12) Him not being too old for this shit... thats not a flaw, thats fact. I get the Lethal Weapon joke but its not a flaw. 13) When a time reaches Zero it usually stays at zero until cleared. It was a timer not a clock, so no its not 3:00 right now. 14) There are people who dont watch news or read the paper, hell i am one of them. If there was a Jigsaw killer in my area, I like Adam would have no idea who or what it was all about. 15) Dr Jack Kevorkian was tried and convicted for 2nd degree murder. That means its not a planned or premeditated killing.... Jigsaw would have been convicted of 1st Degree murder as it was planned and premeditated... but what he means is the definition of murder. He didnt actually do the killing so he is right, but since there is no "put someone in a life or death situation" in law books they default to Murder as the title. So as he uses it not a flaw, but as you defend it you are right he is a Murder by courts definition to convict. But again with what he said its not a flaw. Also Murder means to unlawfully kill, so by definition Murder is always "by law" 16) "Mine's in the shop" or "My wife usually works from home" are both valid reasons why he would only have 1 car, but more then likely it was an excuse to not go downtown. If you watch he tries hard to not go with them until they show him the pen light. 17) To have a Liscene as a surgeon it is law that the surgeon be fingerprinted. www.mbc.ca.gov/Applicants/Physicians_and_Surgeons/ Thats the law in California, but I am sure its the same in most other states. 18) WOOT FIRST FLAW, your correct they dont, but the reason they did was to see if he gave emotion or not hearing her brutal story. So technically it was trying to trap him, but your right its against the law to do so, so they would not have done so in real life. 19) The entire series is flashbacks in flashbacks and movies at the same time as other movies. The jumping around makes this one of those movies i wish I had the ability to redo it from start to finish in chronological order and watch it from start to finish saw 1-7 and see how it worked out... but regardless not a flaw. 20) She was the first video tape victim... the ones before her were audio, larry and adam were audio as well as there was no way to put a tv in that room. But later in the series theres a guy who doesnt even get an audio he gets John standing before him telling him the deal. It just shows that Jigsaw evolved, or couldnt use a TV in some "puzzles" 21) Their choice of using a sped up shot was probably not the best call they made as it didnt show much of anything you had not already seen, but not a flaw with the movie. 22) The ticking is so close to her ear it would be hard to notice anything else, besides she was told he was dead so she wouldnt be thinking to look to see if he was alive only that she had 60 seconds to get the key out of his body. Also the shot was for us the viewer, and the explanation that the guy was drugged up would have been shared with her at some point so she would have known he was alive and figured he had been moving some when she went to tell him the flash back. 23) He survived a car crash that he was trying to commit suicide in, then saw how beautiful life was and wanted to show people that were "worthless" that life is not worth throwing away. Thats the plot of the movie and even though it doesnt make much sense for real a real human being could think that way so... not a flaw. 24) Some of that dialog would be on the editors floor, they had to have talked about other things then what the movie showed or even just sat there in silence. Think about it your locked in a room knowing you are supposed to kill the other person wouldnt you sit there and debate if you would should or even could kill a human being to save anothers life? I know a lot of people that would be lost in thought on that question alone for days or weeks over that question so 45 mins isnt that much of a stretch to imagine they were just not doing anything worth movie time. 25) The room as I described earlier is max 30 feet, the editing of the camera the way it was done is because in reality during filming the two were never in the room at the same time, they used a much smaller room and edited it that way to make it look bigger, plus the camera is pressed against the glass if you look at it so the "obstruction" piece of wood wouldnt be in the camera's view as it is to the side of the camera lens. BUT given yes this is supposed to be a 30 foot long or so room so a camera that close could NOT get them both in the shot with the camera being that close to them. SO YES A FLAW. 26) Larry Gordon was sitting on his ass the tape was in his front pocket, how could that have "busted" and as stated before Adam fell face first from the tub and the tape was in his back pocket. Also they were in that room for 7 hours, they showed him make like 3 tries but lets be honest he could have spent 2 hours trying to get that tape recorder and the editors of the movies just trimmed it down. 27) The baring of an hour could have been spent talking about her that was not needed to be seen like "I met her in a park, the wind was blowing from the east that day and it was roughly 35 degrees. I bought her some cotton candy and took her to a pet store where she said she wanted to get a poodle some day." Just cause theres chunks of time wasted wouldnt mean they wouldnt talk about random stuff in between. 28) Yep the newspaper article is not accurate with what it should be so yes flaw. Thats so far 3 technically correct flaws and 1 kinda flaw that I dont feel like debating further. 29) Im gonna give you this one, honestly though the entire tape is not played for our eyes though so it is possible at the start before the doll talks that it could have occurred. 30) A cliche is not a flaw, and the character would want to go then and there and wouldnt give a shit about a warrant as shown later in the movie when he is stalking Doctor Gordon even after being stripped of police rank. So not a flaw. 31) The trap was not really a final product, so him not fine tuning it to the 60 seconds would be acceptable as it was more about an escape plan then actually killing the victim at that time so his fine tuning would be used in other areas more so. This trap is more like a hobby that you rarely get time to work on, and your real work gets 40+ hours a week. So not a flaw. 32) Broken pipes in an old run down part of town could easily leak steam enough to create fog. The area is run down as they say so not a flaw. 33) This was the only place with that trap as he never expected to be found there, this was a just in case measure which paid out. As shown in the next movie once the cops start closing in more he starts using more traps in his hid outs so not a flaw. 34) There are things call "bean bag rounds" aka flexible baton round. These rounds would not put holes in clothing but would cause a lot of pain. Enough pain that he would fall to the ground as shown. After all they werent there to kill Jigsaw they wanted to arrest him. 35) If your a Civil Engineer who is able to make the kind of traps he is able to make... making a phone not be able to call out even to 911 would be like taking a morning piss in comparison. 36) Audio was not needed as all Zep needed to see was Adam dead not her him dead, John was there and able to listen so again audio not needed for Zep. 37) He took a guess and was right, thats not a flaw thats just lucky for him that the camera couldnt pick it up, and unlucky for him that John was laying in the room to hear. 38) How do you ask that? Gordon would have not assume that Adam would play dying that badly so he like most people wouldnt think to ask "Are you a shitty actor?" 39) Im pretty sure its possible to complete a circuit with the metal pipe they are attached to... but I dont feel like trying to come up with a way to figure out how it was possible so sure flaw. 40) The rusty pipes that are more then likely 1" thick to the hollowed insides with who knows what inside of them with very little room to movie to actually cut at them... as opposed to the 1" chain attached to their legs? With a hacksaw like that it would more then likely take then a good hour to cut through that pipe with a decent angle to cut it at and with the angle they had it would take probably the better part of a day and dull the blade to completely useless. 41) He turned to look so he heard something, and when he went to turn and look at Adam's direction Adam had already moved out of the hallway. 42) Again a cliche is not a flaw, but yes a flaw as now days it doesnt happen. 43) How do you know he said that the cop who was on his case was black? You cant prove he did cause it was a flashback not his narrating the flashback.... most people say a cop was following me and not things like "This Indian cab driver who had a hoola girl on his dashboard and the car smelled like pineapples and there were fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview mirror." Like seriously he probably said "This cop who was following me got his throat cut" He probably never mentioned race, and did state the guy was a cop so when Adam thought about the guy who hired him he would have probably thought it was strange that two guys both had a throat scar but the guy who hired him was not a cop and even if you watch it doesnt dawn on him until Gordon says he lost his rank that they could be the same person. I mean honestly its like me saying I know a guy who is white with blonde hair blue eyes 5'7" with an earring in his right ear... would that make you start looking through everyone you met in the last week for someone to match that description or would you like most of society think this world has 7 BILLION people on it and some people do sound similar when described poorly. 44) Bravo I watched the movie earlier today and missed this one, legit issue also the fact that he threw 1 cigarette after dipping one in blood and putting it back in the box.... so technically there should be zero cigarettes on the ground and if there was 1 it would have blood on it. 45) The room is about 10 feet by 30 feet. Its not that hard to throw things, BUT as shown earlier they struggle to even get the tape to each other with out wildly going off to the side so yeah a flaw cause if they could throw photos that well they could be able to nail each other in the chest with a more solid object. 46) Again Bravo, I noticed this as well when I watch the movie earlier. But yes a flaw. 47) The "Kidnapping" took place the night before, we didnt see the guys wake up until about 11am, so yeah Zepp easily could have hauled in all that equipment and set up in that time, it wasnt like there were rooms filled with it or anything. Not to mention John has shown he knows how to use sedatives so knocking the two girls out for a couple hours to set up equipment is not that hard. 48) When your wife or girlfriend says "Do i look fat in this dress?" most people would lie to her to make her feel better, you like me though would tell her the truth which makes me smile that Im not the only asshole on the planet but the lying to make people feel better is a normal thing and not a flaw. 49) Yeah daylight is a flaw here good find. 50) The idea is that he was heavily drugged so his breathing would have been short and shallow, beyond the first looking at him to see a dead body they kinda ignored him after that so yeah its very possible they didnt see any breathing even if he was breathing normally. 51) Actually the game was planned out, if you watch the flashback where Sing and Tapp get their throat cut and die respectively, theres a model of the exact bathroom that Adam and Gordon are locked in, more then likely Jigsaw decided to use this trap on the fly since the two were connected to each other. As far as knowing they were doing it like you even said they more then likely flirted in front of John and he decided to have Amanda see where they were going. She then reported they went to a motel to meet. At the point that he left his house at night to go see another woman it didnt matter to John if they had been cheating the first time or the 100th, as he found the Doctor to be not deserving the life he was given. Not to mention Gordon was the Doctor who told him he didnt have long to live and holding a grudge and finding any little thing wrong is not too far out of the concept. 52) Lets see... should I face the kid who has no idea who I am and can lay here all day long in peace... or should I face the Doctor who happens to be the same Doctor who diagnosed me with cancer and knows my face pretty well as he does rounds when I am at the hospital? I think I would face the kid and watch the video tape of the foot cutting later. Like I said just a bit ago, after the first "Oh its a dead body" they straight up ignored him as neither knew who he was... had Gordon seen him it would have lead to a "He was my patient he had cancer" type speach and they would have paid him more attention. Plus they both were supposed to cut their foot off. 53) The key was to make the game "fair" as I stated a long time ago at this point. Much like in Saw 2 where the girl sticks her hands up into the box then puts her other hand in the other hole. She could have easily used 1 hand to hold the blades apart from her skin and stuck her hand in the same hole and got the syringe out. But she didnt think and died from the poison because of it. Adam could have easily just sat up and undid the chain around his leg rather then flopping out of the tub and letting the chain get pulled by his movement causing the bathtub to drain. Just like Amanda as well, had she just sat in that chair and not got up right away the trigger would have never activated and she could have just relaxed as long as she wanted to get up the courage to gut the guy like a fish to get the key. But all 3 had the same issue going for them, they were short on time at least they thought and acted in a quick motion without thinking about the consequences. But in short, key in bathtub not a flaw. Flaws you missed 1) Hacksaw blades dont break that easily, they bend and dull much faster then breaking. 2) The 1" thick chain would be able to be cut through. Hell from what little effort they put into it there would have been at least a score showing them that. 3) The glow in the dark paint would have been illuminated from Jigsaw and Amanda trapping them in the room so it would have already been illuminated when they first woke up. 4) Doctor Gordon says "I will go get help and come back for you, I promise." But yet Saw 7 the Final Chapter has come out and we have never seen a single flashback of Gordon going back to try to save Adam, or even asking about Adam. Final Judgement without my added flaws.... 11
cld1472 Well you did spend time of your life articulating about 53 points made in a video which oh so very obviously not meant to be taken seriously, at all. That must've taken some tme, some effort, which looks like it could've been spent in a better way. But maybe you did this during a 1 hour break of your job as a space firefighter so I don't know.
I've always thought Amanda s bear trap scene was not nearly as bad as everyone else's jigsaw encounter. She only had to cut someone else open. Most people have to mutilate themselves.
Problem was soooo many people said to me "you will never guess who it is, last person you would ever think of" so soon as it started and we saw the room, I turned to my mates and said "last person I would pick would be the dead guy on the floor" and thus no shock ending for me.
Guys, I don't think these videos are supposed to be taken seriously. The joke is that they're nitpicking at the film. They're not pointing out why a film is bad but rather the little holes in it. Watch their "Back to the Future" video. They respect it as a classic but still point out all the little problems. It's all in good fun and made for laughs.
A big sin they missed was how how Amanda only had a minute to escape her trap, yet she spends 2 minutes fumbling with her trap trying to take it off, then spends 5 minutes cutting the guy open and searching his body for a key. We're supposed to believe all that happened within a minute?
All of you are confirmed dumbasses except for Corey. In order to make the games fair to the victims, the timer doesn't start when he says on the video that a timer will start. So the minute started as soon as she shook off the constraints that had been holding her arms in place.
The reason why Adam couldn’t get the key is because Amanda purposefully rigged it so that he couldn’t get to it before it went down the drain. That was explained in one of the later films (I think it was Saw V), and the explanation behind Jigsaw (aka Jon Kramer) not moving for 6 hours is because he injected himself with a muscle relaxer that would slow his heart rate. Those were the only ones I had qualms with, but I do agree with everything else you said😂.
Suddenly I remembered the first victim in Saw 4, a woman whose hair was pulled, and she had a tape recorder in one of her arms even though her arms were tied to to the mechanism.
When I SAW him, I (James) WANted to explode into a mist of darkness because I watched it on (Mathew) FOXtel... I bet you never SAW those puns coming because while you were reading this, you LOST your train of thought... I'm sorry
I think the biggest one was Dr, Gordon having the phone out of reach by about a foot and using the saw to cut his foot off...instead of using the saw as a reach to pull the phone back to him. Perhaps I missed something there....
Did anyone else notice that during Amanda's flashback written on the wall there is a paraphrase of the Bible verse Luke 9:24 "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it."
@@EmmaBonn96 perhaps it could be thought of as Jigsaw telling Amanda that she would have to dedicate herself to him. She does become his disciple after her test.
Also, damn these vids are funny, love the sarcasm. But technically Adam was supposed to get the key before it went down the drain, or no, Amanda was supposed to put the key around his neck, but still, she really fucked the game up for Adam.
Jigsaw's black robe probably didn't have a hole in it after he was shot in the back by the police officer because the fabric was made from Krypton. Unbreakable and bullet proof black robe, made for a sociopath, like Mr. Jigsaw.
Krypton is Superman's home planet. I'm basically saying that the Kryptonians created the robe but anyone who actually read the Superman comic books would easily have picked that up, from reading my comment.
I never said his robe was made from Krypton. I made a comic book reference, basically saying that Jigsaw robe was made by the people from Superman's home world planet Krypton. It's obvious from your reply to my comment that you didn't pick up that subtle comic book reference. We are literally talking about two different things.
I'd also add: -Doctor can't tell a dead body, with real wounds, from an alive one with cornsyrup. -Doctor cuts his own foot off but can't stop the bleeding... -Doctor cuts his own foot instead of breaking bones which he knows is many times safer. -Doctor is too stupid to try and cut the chains or pipe slowly instead of ripping the saw apart. -Key is expected to go down the drain. -Key has lights on it which might be noticable.
It is completely ridiculous that someone, let alone an aging cancer patient that coughs up blood on occasion, could lay in one place for 6 hours. Even if you trained yourself to take extremely shallow breaths the human eye would certainly pick up the movement of you doing so.
In the later saw movies (I think three but idk) it shows jigsaw planning and setting up that trap and it shows him taking some sort of drug that slows his heartbeat and his need for oxygen.
Clint Eckerman The precision of the timing is still questionable along with the fact that a drug like that is surely not feasible for someone with stage 4 brain cancer. Along with that, the human eye would surely pick up the breathing motion regardless of how still he laid because he wouldn't be able to control his breathing.
+Randy “Macho Man” Savage the drugs that are available in this world could do that and who knows maybe it's a different world in the saw series. As in different things are available.
the end scene with larry telling adam he has to go get help is like titanic's "ill never let go" scene... then he lets go, all blue and zombie-looking...
I'm just saying. There was an explanation. The beginning of _Saw_ doesn't specify how long Adam was in the water. People just assume he was under for a while.
he was talking about Jigsaw, not the movie director so (I didn't watch this, so forgive me if I'm wrong) unless it is strictly specified in the movie that the story happens in 2004 - since the story does not happen necessarily in the year the movie debuted - this is not a sin
Yea, but normally people will assume that the movie takes place during the year it is release so if Saw takes place in 2004, Jigsaw couldn't have seen V for Vendetta, which was released in 2005. It's just a funny mistake to take note of.
no franchise is without faults. the saw franchise is a magnificent work of art as far as movies go, and will always be one of my favorites. yes, some films were not as good as others, but the first movie was incredible, amazing, and left me dying for more
I miss this slower dialogue from CinemaSins. Sounds like hes sitting next to you criticizing the film in realm time, instead of speeding it up and sounding like Fred if his nuts dropped.
@@reddeath5791 he isn't stupid, when your in a stressful situation you don't think straight and cant make comprehensible decisions if you watched the movie Lawrence was calm but Adam was freaking out but when push came to shove Lawrence lost it in desperation to save his family and the electric shock combined with the phone ringing off the hook just drove him mad so yes he didn't do the right thing in that moment but are you telling me that if you were in that same situation with the people you care about relying on your ability so survive within a time limit and if you fail they would die, and when they call you hear the desperation in their voice, that you would be able to do what the comment above you stated. You wouldn't you would be desperate just like Lawrence was, so Dr. Lawrence Gordon was not stupid he just wanted to survive. When Eric Mathews was in the trap yes he was competent in that moment because his son wasn't in that much danger but Gordon was going to lose everything he loved, Daniel had a oxygen mask but Diana and Lawrence's wife were sentenced to death if Adam lived and Gordon didn't make it out.
Bethabina JJ I see where you’re coming from, but if you had to escape in any way and you had to save your family from death, would you rather break your foot and have it heal or just cut it off entirely? I know he was going insane at the time but as a doctor he should’ve known what would’ve been a better way to escape, or even way back before that moment he should’ve known that breaking his foot would’ve been the better option. But neither of those matter to me, what really confuses me is why they couldn’t cut through the rusty pipes? Those things were very rusty, they could’ve definitely been cut through. Oh well, maybe there was no other way, but I feel like the characters could’ve found a better way out
Akshay Jaiswal That’s a specialization. All doctors have to at least know basic anatomy. Therefore, he should still have broken his foot to get it free
In the movie's defense, this was made by 2 recent film school graduates that could only afford 1 room to record in. The movie became very popular if you consider the circumstance.

As much as I like the SAW series, my only complaint is that Amanda's test was different to most of the other ones, where she had to do something to someone else, instead of herself. It didn't come as painful to her, thus making it easier for her to succeed in her test.
She may have empathy or just a moral compass
+Headphones Girl If I remember correctly, I think the body was her boyfriend. It was preying on her morality moreso than how much pain she could withhold. Although that's a really good point.
+l4dyfett I don't think it was Cecil, I'm pretty sure he was the first one to die. Most every other test is set up so that in order to succeed, you have to inflict pain on yourself. However, her test involved no self inflicted pain, meaning it would be a lot easier for her to succeed.
Not necessarily. What about the Venus Flytrap from the start of SAW 2? Or the Angel Trap?
RizzPoP THANK YOU!!!! I literally noticed that and I couldn't function because it pissed me off
YES! When I saw it I was screaming at him to use his shirt. That's literally the first thing they did. Use a shirt to get something out of reach
riley scease Yes...also he could use the other fucking side of the box too
I think it was pretty obvious Jigsaw would've been on the other side of the phone, saying game over or something. He hates people who take life for granted, and getting a phone with a shirt or something would not prove to him they care about being alive, it would've been a purposely set trap, the best outcome there was, was the ending.
"Couldn't they try cutting through the rusty-ass pipe?"
I've been shouting that ever since they got the saws.

Maybe it would've been worth looking into the drain to see if maybe it snagged and didn't go down all the way?..
Yeah. The worst part is, Adam's only fucking "game" is to not die before time runs out! He did that! Amanda was the one who fucked it all up!

In Saw 2, John Kramer AKA Jigsaw says, and I quote:
"I despise murderers."
In this movie, the first Saw film, he hires a man to murder an innocent woman and her young adorable daughter if one of the test subjects does not complete his task in time, so I call *"BULLSHIT!!!"* on that statement.

Actually CinemaSins, Lawerence Gordon is in the game to show him that he needs to appreciate his life more.
It's still screwed up that he was expected to knowingly let his family get killed by sparing a stranger that tried to ruin his life if he was to appreciate life. victim: no I'm not playing the game I have to work
jigsaw: oh okay
victim: get your priorities straight
Amanda sits there without ever triggering the trap, roasting Jigsaw about how she needs to get to work to afford her heroin. Why was this not in a parody.
One thing you could’ve added was that Tapp and Sing don’t try and contact any other police units to back them up when they found Jigsaw’s hideout. If they had at least two units they would have probably caught him.
might have something to do with the whole "Who needs a warrant?" thing.
Nobody ever calls for backup in this kind of movie 😂
Jigsaw used some shit to lower his heartbeat and make him need less oxygen and breath more subtly, if I remember correctly.
UmCaralnteressante He did
As a doctor that is so stupid and even doing that he would breath, if not he would die ...
+Anakin Sky Walker They probably just played Metal Gear 3 ;)
The one about they not noticing the "dead body" of John breathing is interesting, since all the bathroom scenes were shot in one day, and the actors of Lawrence and Adam were told that there would be a puppet in the middle of the room, so when he reveals himself, their shock is genuine, which means that Tobin Bell had to lay there for hours without them noticing, and it worked.
i think in one of the last movies it reveals he took a shot that made him unconscious or something if my memory serves me correctly
*used a drug to lower his heart rate
@@jacobbellingham1839 Exactly, so it comes a bit off when cinemasins says as if this were a mistake from the film, when even the actual actors were fooled by it, why can't the characters not notice also?
The bathroom scenes were filmed over a period of six days, which makes is even more impressive that Tobin Bell was lying on the floor during that entire shoot (they offered to make a dummy, but he said no), but the other actors in the scene knew it was coming (Adam was even played by Leigh Whannell, who wrote the script).
@@toaofpi That's not what I read.
these movies have such a flawed concept "you know what would make people appreciate life more? me threatening to kill them unless they make a sacrifice. then they get to live with possibly a life threatening injury, almost certainly giving them ptsd amongst other psychological disorders, and then they get to die from said injury, or kill themselves due to how fucked up their brain is!"
SBEG in the first movie it's way out of place but if I remember as the series goes on the crimes the punishments and tests are more an extreme wake up call for more extreme people, but that's going off of years old memories and let's face it, we don't remember these for characters
no one survives anyway
Nothing like ptsd to improve your life
tons of people survive actually

Stranger danger just got real
Oof
On my part I would’ve have just snuck out-
Hahaha 🤣
Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought Adam was supposed to get the key, allowing him some freedom and giving him power over Lawrence, and that it was poor luck or bad planning on Jigsaw's part that it went down the drain. I mean, Jigsaw made some pretty big mistakes across the series
did you get so mad about losing a youtube argument that you came to a completely different video just to whine? Talk about bored and lonely
Hank Wimbleton Um, that crazed ranter aside, I think later in the SAW franchise is was revealed his assistant set that up and she designed his games to be unwinnable or something. I don't really know for sure, I only half pay attention to these movies.
Jacob Gerber
you're thinking of saw III, but I don't think that applied to this particular trap

so much so in fact, that you has taken it upon yourself to go to videos that aren't even related to bitch at me. Thats pretty much what it means to be crazed, my regressive friend

Super plot twist: the killer is actually Stanley Kubrick's ghost in conspiracy with Goofy Clay. That would deserve at least a 20 points reduction.
Obviously

I'm flattered that I'm remembered. I've commented on several Everything Wrong videos, so maybe you'll stumble on me again.
the reason why jigsaw didn't move for that long was because he had injected himself with some type of paralyzing drug.
Butt3rA55a5in, he was laying down not underwater
If he took a paralyzing drug, how was he able to shock the two men?
Xpariah the guy watching the wife and kid has the controls.
He didn't. One time they're electrocuted while the guy watching the wife and kid is in a car chase. Later at the end of the movie, you can see Jigsaw uses it when the one guy who doesn't survive pulls the gun on him.
Xpariah Amanda then?
Yeah, why didn't they cut the rusty ass pipe ?!
DeScrow because the only thing that makes horror movies scary is the fact that everyone except the serial killer is completely stupid.
DeScrow to be fair, some industrial strength pipes are an inch thick. Unless that is serious rusting which it doesn't look like it, no hacksaw will be able to do that in the time limit
Jb0ss Rocks
DeScrow because john Kramer or zep or Hoffman or Amanda (its never determined the first time)would electrocute them because there is no cheating in his games
Because the script
Ironically, Jigsaw's method is to make each trap solvable in some way. He's obviously very precise when it comes to designing them and putting them together. Yet he didn't think of the possibility of the key going down the drain.
Amanda actually set that bit up. Jigsaw says to her that she didn't even give them a chance to live
That part with the key was Amanda's fault. It was revealed in Saw 3.
Doctor doesn't know anatomy? He doesn't have to cut off his foot, just his heel.

Gloss over the fact that he never had to cut his foot off to begin with cause he coulda used his shirt to grab the phone like earlier in the movie!
Sylver Serf Or the rusty pipe. That's what I never really got. Those pipes could take a few hits from the guys then saw what's left of the pipe.
i totally agree with you!!! i thought about this for a long time with my friend

"Are we really supposed to believe that he didn't need to breathe for six hours?"
Wait till Saw III. That'll tell you how the fuck he managed to do that.
True!
+LordryuRevived i forgot the mvoie, what was itit?
Rusty Kuntz The movie I mentioned would answer that question? Saw III.
yeh what happened in it, what explains it?
Rusty Kuntz I think Jigsaw used some sort of drug that lowered his heart rate.
I'm sure others have left this comment but Jigsaw was able to slow down his heartbeat or some shit to make it seem as if he was dead. Awesome video nonetheless.
Monkeyy Bummen Watch the movie. It perfectly explains it. Whatever he took slowed his heart rate down to give him a "dead appearance."
***** Dead appearance or not, your chest (or your back when you're laying face down) would move when you breathe.
Rented Mule He took a muscle relaxant.
***** Still, theres only so much that you can slow down your breathing/heart rate before you actually die.
***** Taking a muscle relexant doesn't mean you don't have to breathe.
Gloss over the fact that he never had to cut his foot off to begin with cause he coulda used his shirt to grab the phone like earlier in the movie!
TheStitchpanda he didn’t cut his foot off to reach the phone. The fact that he couldn’t reach it made him realize his family is in great danger and he lost it
The fact Adam was constantly joking around really alleviated the film's mood
Not to mention that they didn't have to cut their whole foot off, just the heel so they could slip off the chains.
Achilles heel, if they hit the wrong tendon they would have been dead instantly
Nwordsoup One guy was a doctor, right?
oh yeah...
Nwordsoup It tis be okay young squire!
Saying he isn't a murderer is like saying, if I shoot someone in the stomach and make the wound just small enough that they could possibly make it to a hospital before they bleed to death, does that make it not murder if they bleed to death?
I'm sure a judge'll buy that.
Fair enough.
***** Charles Manson never personally killed anyone but is still considered a murderer for orchestrating it.

Lawrence;
"Who are you?".
Adam;
"I'm Batman!".
Lol I always laughed at that "He's not really a murderer" nonsense. He's a god damn murderer. There's no question about it.
I hate that part when he tries to kill the mum and kid, it's a good series, but i fucking hate that part.
what Zep did to be tested ? especially forcing him to kill a woman and a girl to save his life ?
Also Murder means to unlawfully kill, so by definition Murder is always "by law"
16) "Mine's in the shop" or "My wife usually works from home" are both valid reasons why he would only have 1 car, but more then likely it was an excuse to not go downtown.
It just shows that Jigsaw evolved, or couldnt use a TV in some "puzzles"
21) Their choice of using a sped up shot was probably not the best call they made as it didnt show much of anything you had not already seen, but not a flaw with the movie.
Gordon would have not assume that Adam would play dying that badly so he like most people wouldnt think to ask "Are you a shitty actor?"
39) Im pretty sure its possible to complete a circuit with the metal pipe they are attached to... but I dont feel like trying to come up with a way to figure out how it was possible so sure flaw.
Flaws you missed
1) Hacksaw blades dont break that easily, they bend and dull much faster then breaking.

Can you prove that I do not already have one? You are simply assuming and there is a reason why assuming makes you look like an ass.
cld1472 Well you did spend time of your life articulating about 53 points made in a video which oh so very obviously not meant to be taken seriously, at all. That must've taken some tme, some effort, which looks like it could've been spent in a better way.

Jigsaw told Amanda to put the key in Adam's pocket, but she blatantly put it on top of him knowing it'll go down the drain when he wakes up
And he still didnt give a shit, lol. He coudve put it in pocket. Or put Adam in another trap. But no, he needs to be dick.

Dial-tone after a phone hangs up cliche? What? That's like pointing out a "people blinking cliche".
Emil Macko..... hi man. didnt know you watch this shit.
no it's like a movie thing. I mean, yeah it's common thing in the world but in movies, it was, well, a cliche tactic to use for certain moments
Emil Macko you got inspired from THIS?! No wonder you made FNAC
You only get a dial tone when dialling not when someone hangs up
I fucking hate that "People breathing cliche", really gets them out of a tough plot.

But as we saw in this video, Jigsaw is really, really crap at judging the passage of time :P
***** haha "I need you to hold this watch"
The timer didn't start until she left the chair.…
All of you are confirmed dumbasses except for Corey. In order to make the games fair to the victims, the timer doesn't start when he says on the video that a timer will start. So the minute started as soon as she shook off the constraints that had been holding her arms in place.
SoratheHedgehog100 I know the timer doesn't start until she got up, the things I mentioned happened after she stood up.
Those were the only ones I had qualms with, but I do agree with everything else you said😂.
it was saw 3 : ))
1:44 "um, no, yea, he's a murderer....in like every state" Lmao that had me cracking up
Especially in Idaho...I live in Idaho Falls....Im FROM OHIO, So this is hilarious to me!
2:23 Idk maybe Because her hands are tied
Suddenly I remembered the first victim in Saw 4, a woman whose hair was pulled, and she had a tape recorder in one of her arms even though her arms were tied to to the mechanism.
ikr she's also not the only one who receives a video instead if a tape
Orion Hwll BECAUSE IT GIVES AN EXAMPLE OF HOW HER TRAP WORKS IF SHE DOESN'T GET OUT OF IT ON TIME GOD YOU ARE ALL HORROR MOVIE FAKES
Who cares? It's just a movie, don't need to be a fan of the genre to appreciate a movie from it, or at the very least, watch it
@@A100hunter if I remember correctly, I think that she got a tape recorder because the black cop was going to play it
They didn,t notice him breathing because Jigsaw took something to slow his heart rate

Congratulations. This is the official most retarded way to use this tired ass joke format. You lose. Good day sir!
Pathetic

I just noticed that Ben from lost is in Saw
yeh
+. {insert text here} so thats 2 stupid things hes in
hah, you SAW the ending to lost?
+Doygun Doygun you LOST it when you SAW him.
When I SAW him, I (James) WANted to explode into a mist of darkness because I watched it on (Mathew) FOXtel... I bet you never SAW those puns coming because while you were reading this, you LOST your train of thought... I'm sorry
Jigsaw: I want to play a gamę
Hardstop Lucas: *I AIN'T PLAYIN' THESE GAMES!*
GD Tevolo p
I think the biggest one was Dr, Gordon having the phone out of reach by about a foot and using the saw to cut his foot off...instead of using the saw as a reach to pull the phone back to him. Perhaps I missed something there....
Did anyone else notice that during Amanda's flashback written on the wall there is a paraphrase of the Bible verse
Luke 9:24 "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it."
Isn’t that like
Antithetical to Jigsaw’s whole ethos
Like wanting to save your own life is his big thing
Jigsaw.
The fabric was made from Superman's Home Planet? I think you mean Kevlar.
*****
'Kypton' isn't an anything.
We are literally talking about two different things.
stormking989 yes you did "because the fabric was made from Krypton."
I love these vids lol they make you go "hey, that doesn't make any sense does it" lol
Go,SheDot,Go! I've started doing this while watching movies in real life, I need help
Everything wrong with Saw:
1. There was an advertisement before the film
I'm shook whenever Idaho gets mentioned it's always a diss
Well it’s Idaho
Yeah, I live in Idaho, I can see why....Rofl..Im FROM Ohio...Its an easy play,
the Lost reference at the end was the best XD
I'd also add:
-Doctor can't tell a dead body, with real wounds, from an alive one with cornsyrup.
-Key has lights on it which might be noticable.
he was facing away from the doctor to be fair
***** "-Doctor cuts his own foot off but can't stop the bleeding...".
You never watched Saw 7...
Nazgûl ofAngmar
I most definitely didn't. (two was enought for me) Though I don't see how it's relevant.
avada0 The story continues through out all of them, it's like one long movie cut into parts, the story is amazing.
TransfusioN
Jigsaw: I want to play a game
Me: *holds up uno reverse card*
Jigsaw: fuck *stabs his eye out*
Didn´t see that coming. xD^^
It is completely ridiculous that someone, let alone an aging cancer patient that coughs up blood on occasion, could lay in one place for 6 hours. Even if you trained yourself to take extremely shallow breaths the human eye would certainly pick up the movement of you doing so.
In the later saw movies (I think three but idk) it shows jigsaw planning and setting up that trap and it shows him taking some sort of drug that slows his heartbeat and his need for oxygen.
he took something to relax his muscles and slow his heartbeat.
+DeejayRainbowz DerpDerpYay I agree. There are plenty of drugs that could put him out for several hours then he'd wake up in time.
I legit watched a saw movie trailer as an ad on this video or should I say I SAW an ad
J K I appreciate and hate this pun
J K cutting edge pun boi
J K, I SAW that pun coming a mile away
J K stop please
no,no you should not
After seeing Saw i'm pretty grateful to be alive. So yes, it worked. Good job
6:26 he used a drug that would slow down his heart rate and relax his muscles
Realy?
anas .ettaoudi Yes
For 6 hours?
Slavoid ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ Yeah
He used magic to magic himself into this making sense. Granted it's an easier pill to swallow than the omniscience required to pull off his murders.
the end scene with larry telling adam he has to go get help is like titanic's "ill never let go" scene... then he lets go, all blue and zombie-looking...
Adam started out with his head above the water, and slipped in when he was unconscious, which woke him up. Watch _Saw III_.
We shouldn't have to watch the threequel for shit in this particular film to make sense.
I'm just saying. There was an explanation. The beginning of _Saw_ doesn't specify how long Adam was in the water. People just assume he was under for a while.
codster9 Because that's what it looks like.
In another note, how are you getting italics? I can only get *bold*, but not italics.
Underscore _ around words.
codster9 _Thanks_
LOL you failed. You said he watched V for Vendetta too many times? This film came out one year before v for vendetta. xD
Holy shit, you just caught a CinemaSins sin. o_o
Lol how can her comment about my comment get so many likes xD
Lilly Li
Cineception. o_o
he was talking about Jigsaw, not the movie director so (I didn't watch this, so forgive me if I'm wrong) unless it is strictly specified in the movie that the story happens in 2004 - since the story does not happen necessarily in the year the movie debuted - this is not a sin
Yea, but normally people will assume that the movie takes place during the year it is release so if Saw takes place in 2004, Jigsaw couldn't have seen V for Vendetta, which was released in 2005. It's just a funny mistake to take note of.
Holy sh*t... I've never seen Cinema Sins old videos, and now it hits with nostalgia so much, even tho I wasn't around when these where up..
kids, never play with goofy clay
And yet now is goofy clay under the name 'intelligent puddy' a big kids trend in The Netherlands... These things just happen idk.
no franchise is without faults. the saw franchise is a magnificent work of art as far as movies go, and will always be one of my favorites. yes, some films were not as good as others, but the first movie was incredible, amazing, and left me dying for more
I miss this slower dialogue from CinemaSins. Sounds like hes sitting next to you criticizing the film in realm time, instead of speeding it up and sounding like Fred if his nuts dropped.
As a doctor he should know he can just break bones to slip his foot out, bones that could heal.
MrParkerman6 the fucking cop did that in the second movie like what the hell, how dumb is this guy!?
@@unusunus3814 my god....you're really into it, aren't ya? 😉
