This is what I was looking for. How cut accurately and how to join the ends. It would have been helpful to watch your student do it as you would have had tips and guidance for her as she progressed.
Really , really excellent videos for a complete novice. I have ordered by cutter pliers, and going to practice cutting cheap picture frame glass. You have inspired me to have a dabble and will try the framed mirror as a first attempt. I notice that you only use the H section lead , do you just fold over the edges flush on the external surfaces. Thank you again for the easy to listen to and follow videos
Hi Sophie another really useful video. I noticed u lift up lead to fit glass and 6mm lead. Can I use this method for a window as I've always flush set it and your method looks stronger. Thanks
@@SophiesStainedGlass I love your channel, you make everything really easy to understand. I am making a lantern/light like a Charles Rennie Mackintosh design and am struggling to work out how to fix the glass into an aperture I have cut out. I have ordered your book, so hopefully, some useful tips.

Great suggestion!

Glad you find my videos helpful! You can fold the H flanges over or not! This will help answer your question ua-cam.com/users/shortsCGfI5wnfUMA

The music is unnecessary, it blots out your voice a bit......
Sorry about that. Hopefully my editing skills have improved a bit since then.
