I’ve been practicing yoga on and off, quite inconsistently. The past two months I’ve practiced every single day, going through the intermediate calendar. The past couple of days it’s been extremely difficult to stay consistent and it’s because the practice is getting extremely difficult. It’s not the poses really, but the internal aspect. It’s as if daily practice has stirred up some dust, so my mind is going places I don’t like, which makes the poses harder than they would be. I would ask you what I should do, but I can already hear Flo say, “seated meditation. Meditation is the most important aspect of yoga.” 😂 So here I am. I’ve been skipping my personal practice of meditation most days and it’s started to show in my asana practice I guess? If there’s any other advice, that would be welcomed too.
Flo is ridiculously chill. I can guess just what kind of roll he is. He lets you flail about madly for 4 minutes trying all the stuff you've seen Keenan Cornelius do (none of that works and you decide to muscle an Ezekiel) and he just goes with it with a faint smile on his face. Then he turns it on for the last minute and submits you in ways that don't make physical sense because of all his yoga. At the end he warmly thanks you for the roll.
haha people at my old BJJ gym have described me that way. perhaps we'll roll together some day! shoot us an email and where you are perhaps we're in the area and we can train 🙏
Hello Flow, I am very happy and grateful with your channel. I have tried by all means to do each routine, but I can not fully stretch my legs and I do not know if it is due to my age of 36 or that has nothing to do and is an archaic personal idea. On the other hand, I have looked for many ways to quit smoking and I think that through the practice of yoga with meditation I would feel very good, but I still do not get detached from the cigarette. I would like to receive some advice from the two of you to bring down this part of my life that I do not like and have more self-esteem and be at peace and continue practicing these routines that you share. Awesome Meditation. And a question. when I sit cross legged either my feet fall asleep but start to hurt after some time or I am very shaky and can't relax. Same when I sit on a block or so. Do you have any idea how to fix that? It's one year since I noticed
try to sit on pillows or on some surface that is softer than your mat or floor. over time this also gets better, but you definitely want to stay comfortable 🙏🖤
