Immaculate review once again. One question tho, do you think this is worth the upgrade to a direct drive wheel? knowing there's bunch of various DD wheel with significantly cheaper price. Thanks also, Forza Pro!
Thanks! If you have the money a direct drive is definitely worth upgrading to, the benefit of this wheel is the TrueForce support and for me it's a game changer without it a game feels empty but on the negative side its only supported on a limited number of games and the Logitech ecosystem is non existance as theres no other wheels or accessories.
Interesting! I was wondering if I made the right choice by getting the GT lite pro, but since you stated you'd choose this I feel that I have made the right choice along with a few other UA-camrs opinions saying the same thing. If you need PS5 and PC compatibility and you want to build your own kit from Fanatec it comes out to about the same price or more depending on your add ons. 8nm DD pro wheel base that works with PS5, one of their wheels, and the cs elite v2 pedals, a better quick release than the plastic one, and a table clamp because only their bundles come with a clamp..I was looking at around close to $1200 before tax and shipping. I know they have the GT7 DD pro bundle for $799 with the GT wheel but people say those included pedals suck and you can’t order the GT wheel separate if that is what you want as a wheel.
I have to say that the Logitech Pro Racing Wheel is just a bad deal. You have one full DD from Fanatec at half the price of this and a much better well to be honest YOU have an upgrade path.
