The link isn’t working at code doesn’t work
Hey Will
Just wanted to say thanks for the 5% discount code. I’ve ordered the bundle to use with PS5 and PSVR2 in GT7 and flatscreen ACC. My first wheel and pedal set😊
If you get the time someday, it would be great if you could share some settings in those titles, especially GT7.
Thanks again 👍🏽
You’re welcome mate. Enjoy!
It's a nice looking wheel and base BUT i am a multi console owner and i can excuse buying such an expensive racing wheel until they at least make an Xbox steering wheel available.
I searched for coupons recently and got 250.00 off Wheel and Pedals
My G Pro wheel and pedal package was delivered yesterday and from an actual user's perspective, it's absolutely phenomenal in GT7. 100% recommend if you can swing the coin. I originally wanted the Fanatec GT bundle but it's been out of stock for 2+ months straight, they really need to get their shit together.
You can get the GT DD Pro base separately (with boost kit )+ a different wheel + the new CSL Elite LC pedals for less than the cost of the Logitech G Pro and all available
@@Rapid_GT He could not get what he wanted from Fanatec. He didn't say anything about saving money. He got what he wanted. You people need to chill with the telling people what to buy.
@@labounti I merely suggested an alternative solution to get the DD Pro, I didn't tell anyone what to get! And who doesn't want to save money especially when Fanatec is the better quality brand ? So go chill yourself matey
@@Rapid_GT I'm beginning to think he works for logitech. He's always crying anytime someone recommends something else.
@@tomc5435 It just gets tiresome reading the same comments over and over about "What you can get" and it being the exact same thing. But you're right, I am crying about it, I'll chill.
I think if they priced it a little bit lower it would be a better option. But fanatec right now has so many more wheels, more compatibility, Better pricing, and just generally a better ecosystem.
People really need to stop, think and remember that fanatec is not available everywhere, and if they do, they would have too high of a markup.
Remember that the g29 on logitech store is 400€ but you can find it easily for 229/279 max
Its Always like that with logitech
@@senseikawasaki2326 yep, but the G Pro is only available directly from Logitech (at least for now)
its sold out always
Part of the ecosystem... Is the qr system, and that from logi is simply better.
TIP: if you sign up to the Logi newsletter, you can get 15% off the wheel or pedals. If you sign up with 2 different email adresses, and order the pedals and wheel seperately, you can get 15% off both. In euro's, that makes the set 1270 instead of 1489.
Not anymore they dont..."Excludes Circle View Doorbell, Ultimate Ears Products, ASTRO Products, Logitech G Products, Jaybird Products, B2B video collaboration products (Room Solutions, Conference Cameras, Webcams and Headsets), and spare parts."
Damn
Yes, wheels are excluded from the 15% discount as of today. They will only give you 5% plus free shipping.
15% off both vs 15% off individually, is the same discount...15%.
Hell yeah this wheel is worth it for console! I’ve been waiting for months for the CSL DD to become available again. But as we all know it’s sold out indefinitely. Glad because when I discovered the Logi Pro wheel and saw the positive YT reviews I took the chance and purchased the Pro wheel and pedals for my Series X. Upgrading from my low powered belt drive TM wheelbase and non load cell pedals to the Logi Pro wheel and base has been incredible so far. The power, detail and feel are fantastic. Highly recommended. IMO this is the best solution for console users.
How’s it holding up a year later?
FYI. You can adjust the brake pedal on the wheel base. I adjusted the settings so that I can rest my foot on the pedal with no input. Not sure if your running an old firmware or you missed this.
Just bought my kit to use on PS5. Coming from a G29 it's night and day. Everyone who enjoys sim racing should have one DD wheel. TrueForce is quite interesting in GT7 but it's in ACC where this whole thing shines , IMO. The amount of details you get from this volant in ACC is just incredible.
I'd buy this over the GT DD Pro since it's in stock and the quick release and shaft don't look like they'll snap just by looking at it.
Will, with the release of ACC 1.8 scheduled for tomorrow, will you be revisiting the wheel bases experience for consoles? At least for ACC? I’m looking/hoping for a video on that.
I heard that if you're playing ACC on console, it gets recognized as a G923 and only uses the "true force" force feedback and doesn't use the direct drive feedback at all, since it recognizes it as a G923. So you're essentially paying $1,000 to get the same force feedback system you'd get from a entry level wheel. But it works with the direct drive on GT7 though.
@@AdrenaLukeYT it is mechanically impossible. What are you talking about? You can’t compare even the gear and belt stuff and especially not with dd!? If ACC recognize it like 923, it can not imitate cog wheels, because it is dd.
You are correct in Acc recognizing the g pro as a g923 but only for the true force technology, not the FFB. Essentially the extra rumbles for curbs, bumps etc.
I did end up buying this complete setup for PlayStation and so far I'm completely satisfied especially using it with the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0. Haven't used on the PC yet.
This plus the new VR would be sweet in GT.
Mate..I use a G923 on PC and it's been fantastic even tho it's 2.5 NM I was looking forward to Logitech bringing a DD on board.. however the price is way to much.. even tho it's 11.5 NM it's a no for me..I would rather get the Moza R5 bundle for $700.00 US or Fanatek bundle but thank you for this review 👍
Yeah coming from the G923 and seeing how poorly supported Trueforce is (mostly ignored by most developers) its really hard to pick the G-Pro over the Moza R9 or even R5 given how much better the Moza software seems to be for tweaking and customization and game profiles etc. GHub only offers the absolute bare minimum its like they didn't even try.
@@RoninLeonim but isnt correct that you cannot buy any MOZA product for console, purely PC only atm
You'd think future sim titles on this new generation of consoles would be able to have higher bitrates for FF and telemetry...
I can confirm that a xbox wheel does work on a ps base. So I don't have to swap bases to drive on either console on the same rig. Just change the wheel and plug into the console for that wheel. In fact a xbox wheel on a ps base also works on ps. So theoretically you only need to buy the ps base and an xbox wheel and you have ALL compatibility.
If we have a playstation G Pro wheel/base, and we connect an Xbox version of the G Pro wheel rim to the playstation base, will the Xbox wheel work on a Xbox console? Do you have both wheel rims and have you tested it? Asking because we have the Playstation version and someone locally is selling the Xbox wheel rim only.
@@storypunman yes if you use the xbox wheel on the ps base and it will work on both consoles. You just have to set the version when booting the wheel.
@@typer98 Ok. thanks for your response. Still trying to get that Xbox wheel locally, if not hopefully Logitech starts selling it alone or some new wheel rims.
Great review as always Will. As for now a console user, I've been monitoring the Fanatec site almost daily for several months in hopes the CSL DD would be back in stock. Glad it wasn't because after watching many YT reviews on the new Logitech Pro Kit, (Boosted Media extended review being the best by far). I just placed a North American order on the Logitech site for the full Pro Kit and the pedal set advertised as $349.99 was discounted in the cart to $262.49 by Logitech, which makes this mid grade pedal set far more appealing and acceptable (upcoming aftermarket mods will help). Free shipping included too!!! This must be a secret promotion for the early adopters. I feel that the Logitech Pro kit slots in nicely at about $1,400 with features and performance that other manufacturers (Fanatec) just don't offer at that price point at this time. Logitech is a substantial tech driven company that typically doesn't bring hardware to the market without complete testing and vetting, so I have faith that the Pro kit will perform and last as advertised. The Logitech Pro ecosystem is just getting started and hopefully they will offer a proper GT / F1 style wheel soon. Coming from a TM belt drive and non load cell pedal kit, the Logitech Pro kit will be a great upgrade for me, especially on my main Sim ACC with native True Force engaged!! Peace
Yes I just bought mine yesterday and the 262 for the pedal set was a nice bonus I must say .Funny enough Fanatec finally got GT DDs in stock but I'd already decided that Truforce is worth the extra and even tho I'll never take it near 11 nm it's nice to know it's there for when the mother in law comes round and wants a demo lol
People complain about the price and still buy every year the 1500 bucks smartphone! Common guys a wheel like this you have at least for 5
6 years or even 10 years in some cases , much harder to make than a smartphone, materials, workmanship, shipping
All things considered I think the price is fair.
Yea I can’t believe these people are complaining so much about the price. Like welcome to DD wheels. Especially if you want a console one. It’s also 2022, look at the price of everything else. This is a real quality kit. Sure I wish it was cheap, everything could always be cheaper when your a consumer, but you get what you pay for. The pedals are already on sale at least in the US, and you can find student discount codes for 25% off
Hi! Thanks for clearing up how the compatibility works! I do have the PS base/wheel but I def also want to get a series x for forza 8 down the road.
I am happy I can grab a Xbox wheel and be ok. Only if I ever can buy just the Xbox wheel...
I think the xbox edition is compatible with both consoles
Totally worth it. Especially on a Playseat Trophy Logitech g seat. Fits perfect. Looks bad ass.
I am late to the game with this wheel kit but I will say this.....Mine will be here tomorrow and I am excited to have something of quality from a company that values its customers. This is not the recent experience I had with my 3.5 month old CSL DD that decided to stop working. Fanatec customer service is some of the worst I have ever seen as of late. Great review. Thank you for the info as I am a console user currently.
Fanatec states that the update frequency on the GT DD Pro is set to 250hz when connected to a console. With the Logitech G pro wheel, playing a true force compatible game, isn't it 1000hz? Even on console? Doesn't that make a huge difference to the driving experience? Trying to figure out which one I should get for my PS5.. Only playing GT7 and f1 22
Same question here
You can set deadzones for all the pedals in GT7 settings.
Once again the Aussie buyers get dudded. US buyers get a discount for buying the bundle, we get the sweet RRP.
Side Note: Thanks Will and Tom and everyone at Boosted Media.
Try NZ... Can't get this or any fanatec gear without paying out the nose, moza saved the day here
Yeah, I just saw the British Logitech website jump up by £250 in the space of a day on this product
Can't find any bundles on US sites, but the combined price of the wheel +base = $1374 USD( inc tax) which is $2148 AUD. So unless I'm not looking in the right places to find it cheaper, it looks like US customers are paying more
it is 1500 aud which is ridiculous, the fanatec dd 5nm and bmw wheel cost 950 and with 8nm it is about 1150. Way cheaper to go fanatec
When people say this wheel is too expensive they don't factor in that the return policy is 30 days and the warranty is 2 years. Fanatec is 14 days and 1 year. So the G Pro is twice as long. After purchase warranty and service matter on expensive products.
Not to mention Logitech has actual customer service you can contact, Fanatec is hands down the worst online company in ANY capacity I have ever seen. A simple inquiry can take 3 WEEKS to answer. And most items are months out. And thw warranty you mentioned sealed the deal for me. I got the LPro.
Just order this yesterday and got wheel and peddle together and saved on the bundle package, plus $50.00 off for signing up on Logitech. I'm sure they'll have better deals down the road if you want to wait.
How long did you wait for the wheel and how do you like it so far ? I want to order one but its only on pre order and no date in when it will be in stock
@@TheRipperXGaming it took 2 weeks to get it. Love the wheel, gives a much better feeling than my G29. When you get it, hit me up and I'll give you my favorite settings.
Have you tried Wreckfest? Be careful you don’t brake a thumb!
10/10 review are usual. I think people really can't say exactly why they're 10/10 every time and not 9/10 when they think about it... but I myself have.... and a lot of it also has to do with those perfect soft purple and blue hued lights you run on the set with proper lighting around yourself will and the products.... no constant camera movements to piss people off... it's impressive.
Small request..... can we do some old how to overclock the latest intel (12900k and/or AMD?) like you use to do? Those were fucking so good... literally your videos were so much more thorough with thought and reasoning etc.... that shit netted me my 9900k 8xcores at 5.2ghz all day everyday.... lol still going on the direct die cooling :) Regardless, it doesn't matter what your videos are about, if you're passionate about the stuff, it'll be great.
Thanks Matt! Actually just finished my 12900k build last week. About a year late to the party but I might still do an overclocking video.
Didn't they bump the price up by like £200? so for both combined in the UK it's £1300 and yet for £860 I can get the Fanatec bundle with the dd and 8nm adapter so I wonder why anyone would buy the Logitech wheel over Fanatec.
Yeah they did, made it even more unaffordable however the pound has been falling really bad, almost on par with the dollar so it could be because of that too
Availability. Also customer service too maybe... Yeah I watched the price go up by £250 the day after I first looked. Then the next day the price of the GBP crashed so maybe they had people in Finance that caught whiff of the crashing Pound Sterling.
Annoyingly an American was saying on their website Logitech was offering a discount when you buy them both, their pricing is all over the place and the price bump just made it a "no deal" for me
The same in EU. About €100 discount when buying the bundle.
in stock, more power, trueforce, quality, etc. that bundle hasn't been in stock for months, kind hard to buy it when it no longer exists
Hope to find one in a year or 2 for lower price or maybe used . Looks good but over priced imo
All impotant question, did you confirm ALL buttons are functioning on the xbox? With the G920 the RSB and LSB do not work on Xbox.
Yah, that most definitely "grinded my gears" those buttons are useless! How do they design a wheel with buttons specifically for Xbox that don't work with Xbox? Such a waste
@@mav2553 Apparently it was Microsoft that stopped them from working then made an PAI for the game devs to use to allow their use. So as lazy ass devs are, they did nothing they didn't absolutely need to do to make them work. That includes microsoft owned studios.
@@nobodyimportant7380 what a waste. It makes me jealous the PS version has those cool dials too and we get a single d-pad, no right-thumbstick access and two buttons that are useles. Nice homework bro 👍 I been wondering about those since the day I got mine
Just so you know, both ACC and GT7 have custom dead zone calibration within the game.
Thanks for claryfying the compatibility! NC Review
ACC on PC was updated to 1.8 last year. It just got updated to 1.8 on the next gen consoles two days ago. Did you try the force feedback with the new patch? That was responsible for a lot of the good feedback on the PC
Does force feedback works for you on ACC on Xbox? Mine doesn't
@@DeadInThePool87 haven't tried ACC on Xbox in ages. Will give it a try
@@doggiehowzer Thanks! Please let me know. Iv'e been emailing Logitech support for the past week.
@@DeadInThePool87 it’s not Logitech’s fault.
Just confirmed Xbox version of ACC has broken FFB. It’s completely numb for FFB - only has rumble effects even though I turned it to 0. With the same FFB settings in game and on the wheel, the PS5 version is much stronger. In fact I had to turn the in game Gain down to 75% instead of 100% I had on the Xbox (still numb at 100%)
This is with a Fanatec Podium DD with Xbox universal hub.
@@doggiehowzer Thanks for letting me know man.
Wait for a sale. This is ridiculously costly. We don’t grow money on trees Logitech!
Soundly like a no brainer to just buy the P.S. version no matter what platform you have, and a replacement Xbox wheel. Fantastic info and probably the most valuable info for multi platform gamers. Earned a sub from me. Thanks for all your efforts.
I saw a review saying the Xbox wheel supports Xbox, PC, AND PS whereas the PS version is just PC/PS I dunno why they’d do this or if it’s a thing?
@@brian5863 boosted media literally just explained how it works in this video
One year later and you cannot buy just the wheel so no....
@ViperJon yea, bummer huh. Ah well. I'm using on PC and Xbox brought their games there so not worried. End result is the same, can play all the games heh
I’m between this one and Fanatec DD GT, for use with PS5(GT7) and PC(Iracing).
It would be easier to choose once logitech has released more wheel rims and shifters etc.
Great review...many thanks, I'm upgrading from a G29 to this for use on PS5 with ACC, and a possible move to PC in the future.
Bulky, pricey, plastic all over and way to expensive…there are better options i guess.
@@volkarach0293 I'm happy to stay with Logitech I have a csl elite which is fine but I prefer my G29, I ordered early, price was £1073 complete with pedals and delivery, with free 30 day return..
As always great trusted reviews.
Too many “reviewers” basically trying their all to sell these dam units acting like it’s the best thing to ever enter the sim world.
Considering I spent a bomb on a fanatec DD1 podium a few wheels V3' pedals and CSL elite pedals with load cell, shifter 1.5 and handbrake 1.5. just for ps5 I don't have a problem with the price of the Logitech Pro and think it's great value.
I've also owned the fanatec GT DD and wasn't happy with the torque available with the boost kit and that was resold after 3 months.
I just want a DD2 for PS5…. Or at least de DD1 without the stupid wheel, since i already have a Formula 2.5 and a Porchse Podium wheel….
The resale value is pretty good for the formula V2.5.
The DD1 is way way better than the GT DD, on PlayStation if you turn off all filtering you can run around 70%ffb on most games and get alot more detail especially on ACC the ffb on the GT DD on ACC felt really dead and high FFB ran into alot of clipping, you don't get that on the DD1
Hey Will just curious in ACC there is the next gen update coming soon tomorrow maybe for 400Hz. I wonder if that will make a difference for next generation consoles?
I guess we’ll see. PC has had 400Hz for a while now and Trueforce was a significant improvement over that as well.
It wont bw lacking on console when we get 1.8. Thursday and 400hz. Thought ud know this/mention it. Will be on par with pc on any wheelbase
If there is a formula style wheel for this it would be amazing
Maybe they will implement it in the future because the wheel can be released im just waiting for a Logitech f1 wheel would be cool to
2 draw backs for me are how chunky the wheel base is and the price although logitech products tend to go on sale pretty often might wait for a sale 😉 great reviews as always 👍👍
Yeah Black Friday still no sale. Lucky to even find it in stock
What I would like to know is what arcade racers will work with this wheel. Obviously the ones on the official list. But what about older games like grid 2, dirt 2/3 , NFS series. There is an g923 compatibility mode. Does this mean it will work with all games that worked on g923?The reason I asked was that grid 2 , NFS heat / payback /2016 and dirt 3 are officially supported by the g923 but are not mentioned in compatibility list even with g923 mode
MOZA R5 bundle is still the best buy personally, yeah its 5.5nm but still a fair price. Then also Fanatec ecosystem, its just a win win.
Logitech overshoot it with the price in my opinion, maybe 1k WITH the LC pedals, then thats fair.
And thrustmaster DD is late for the party as usual.
If the Thrustmaster is cheaper and compatible with console... Although there is the TM SIM Hub, so if it wasn't you could use that to make it console compatible.
Then it will s**t on this overpriced and actually flawed wheelbase
Unless the R5 recently received an update that let’’s you play it on a console, this comment is irrelevant for this video?
If you're using PC only the R9 with the SR-P pedals is the best buy. The R5 is a nice base but the pedals in the bundle are not load cell.
@@charaznable2791 Thrustmaster has already said it will only be on PC in their Twitter announcement of the announcement.
THX for 5%
Great and very informative video Will. It’s such a shame they decided to increase the price in the uk by £200. Makes it twice as much as the gt did pro.
No,sadly the Thrustmaster DD will be pc only so I've switched to the Logitech G pro .The only downside is the lack of wheel options so lucky the wheel is so good but I'm sure plenty more rims will follow .
that sim rig is flex city
I love an H-gate shifter. Would love to know if my TH8A shifter would work on console with this wheel setup.
Can the shifter work I just order the wheel and pedals I want to know to order a shifter
Hello thank you for your video! Do you think the trueforce is something that would make you replace a Fanatec GT DD Pro with this new wheel ?
I was wondering if logitech will be making a new gear shifter for the pro
There are two extra usb ports on the back of the wheel base. Logitech says they are for their products only. Here's hoping.
Thanks for all the great info and videos. I do have a questions, The logitech g pro currently "requires" ITS pedals for use on consoles. Do you know is it possible to use the logitech g pro wheel with another manufacturers pedal set, say fanatec CSL V3 if you use the Collective Minds drive hub? - Anyway thanks for all the info!
6:52 your gameface is so serious. It's actually hilarious. Not as bad as mine though. My tongue is usually out like Jordan. Don't know why and I can't stop it either unfortunately. 🙈 😜
The compatibility issue is a huge f**k you to anybody that wants the wheel to be compatible with xbox. Some people have all platforms and want flexibility, especially at this price point.
I agree, except I think it's not their fault, but more sony and xbox agreements.
@@superpatate1234 I think it has to be a stipulation of Sony to put the chip in the base as the Fanatec wheel is the same.
Im an American most of us are taught to never left foot brake its pretty engrained in me to not left foot brake i should work on that it has its use case that's for sure like trailbraking
This wheel set is far too expensive. Fortunately for logitech, fanatec have been out of stock for months & the new Thrustmaster DD is pc only.
At this rate moza will own this market (once they get console compatability) as they are in stock and cheaper.
US/European firms are just opening the door for the chinese through being useless :(
I'm going to wait until pedal mods are available and are shown to fix the pedal feel or an adapter. I have modded CSP V2s with upgraded dampeners and springs. I really don't want to downgrade from that and spend $300 for console (GT7/PS5) support.
Very good video! Where is the link to see the full list of compatible games with TruForce? I can't find it. Is the new EA WRC compatible? Thanks!
How is this wheel in terms of peripheral expandability? will I be able to connect an H pattern shifter/handbrake? would a G29 shifter still be compatible or any other?
Nothing is compatible except the pro pedals currently.
Can you make a video like this with a collective mind drive hub + moza r9
I don't know if the feeling is the same in PC
GT7 is the best platform for learning how to drive sim. very rewarding experience with licence & track experience a great way to learn. Online racing is also amazig.
Hi, I have a big question. Considering that I only play Assetto Corsa Competizione, GT7 and EA WRC on PS5, is the Logitech G Pro more recommendable than the new Fanatec ClubSport DD+? I have seen in your review that there are still no PS5 games with FullForce for the CS DD+, but there are games with TrueForce for the G Pro. Thank you very much!
Thanks Boosted! I used your code and got 5% off!!! I just received the wheel but I'm having issues. The wheel won't produc more than 3nm on Gran Turismo 7...... even though I have it set to 11nm
what would you choose to start your adventure with simracing, for now I have a ps 5 vr 2, and in the future I want to assemble a pc set i think between dd gt pro 8 nm and logi g pro
I know it’s all about money, and resale etc if you change from Xbox to PlayStation, however it would of just made sense to make all the bases with the chip inside even if your buying the Xbox version as it would of then always made it cross platform
I’m facing a huge issue on GT7 where the game will not read the steering input, and ONLY the steering input. The wheel works with GT Sport, but in GT7 everything works except the steering axis, whether I run in Pro Mode or G923 Mode. I have a vid on my channel, tried everything including software/firmware updates but GT7 refuses to read in the steering input. How are you getting it to work?
I also have an issue, even after un/reinstalling GT7, when the wheel is plugged it in causes excessively long loading time and crashes the game periodically. This does not happen in GT Sport, which ironically doesn’t officially support the wheel like GT7. It’s annoying to spend this much money on a product which doesn’t work
Would love to see Snowrunner tested on console
well well might have to hold this out for awhile, now that thrusmaster may come out next year with there own. and plus as an package it goes for $2,700 new zealand plus shipping who knows how much that cost.
I bought a G923 for my PS4 PRO back in the days and now I have an XBOX SERIES X and of course I cannot use my wheel and struggling either to buy a new wheel or buy drivehub... so my question is... if I buy LOGITECH PRO wheel/base... should I buy an PS version or an XBOX version?
Cause if I got what you said on the video PS version base and XBOX wheel will work both on PS5 and X???
And why the opposite won't work I'm just curious!!!💪😃✌️
PS, then get an Xbox Rim! If you do it this way you have all 3 out of the box! Any other and you miss in PS compatibility! If that matters..
Looking to spend this much on a wheel/base for Xbox but not racing on PC.... Interesting. You'll need two wheels to play on both consoles. Every racing game on Xbox is on PC.
@@iamzuesthisisthetruth8864 however you can't buy the wheel only right now, and the big question... the price 🤔 I just reach logitech support, they told there is no way that a single base works on 3 platforms by swapping the wheel. So until they officialy anounce that feature, be careful before taking a decision!
@@iamzuesthisisthetruth8864 that's what he said in the vid yah, but he also said you can't by the xbox wheel separately. And no one will sell you just the wheel 2nd hand cause they'll be stuck with a useless xbox base. Maybe if they release more wheels later it will be possible 🤷♂️. Im guessing they made it detachable for a reason, "wheel" see. You like my pun? 🤣😂🤣😒
Can you do a wrc 10 play throw and wat handbrake u can us ?
I play all sorts of title from sims(ACC) to simcade (f1) to arcade ( crew 2). Do you think this is better or some of the fanetec stuff
It puzzles me that they made the compatibility in that way. Since it's the same price for both, why not give both compatibilities off the bat? Make it universally compatible 🤷🏾♂️
hello m8 do we get any sort of pedals in the package or we must have to buy pro pedals to be able to get it started racing
Where can we see all the compatible games that have true force feature on console?
was waiting for fanatec to get the csl dd bundle back in stock so I could get for playstation but been sold out for months so looking forward to getting this instead.
ACC for Xbox is renowned for crashing I’ve been trying to contact them for months and they say they’re fixing it in the next update but nothing happens. I’ve been trying to play the game for a year but it just crashes at random moments
I only own consoles so I have to wait so I can get the PS base then buy the Xbox wheel seperate.i still have the g920. Until there is a proper DD drive like csl where you buy one base & multiple wheels.
The feel being a bit lacking on acc I think maybe because they don't have the 400hz update yet. It's coming soon I do believe, I wonder if that'll fix what you were feeling.
Can somebody help me out here. Can you connect the Thrustmaster shifter and handbrake at the back? Does it work when i play GT7 and AC on the PS5? Or does the shifter and handbrake only work with PC?
Did you use the settings proposed by Logitech on their webpage?
For each game?
Hi there did u try the xbox wheel on the playsysion base to see if it works the now or will we have to wait till another wheel add on is released
Hey will. Currently I'm using a csl elite f1 edition. That is belt driven. Im looking for a decent DD wheel but im really not sure of what to go for. Ive reached my peak with the wheel im using atm and really want to move up to the next level. Great video and very helpful. Anyone in comments got any recommendations.
I'm getting the Fanatec CSL DD GT pro 8nm base (not the wheel) ordered it last Friday and its coming tomorrow to the UK. (Also thats the only wheelbase that's available for the CSL DD)
@@LondonBikerReal sorry your answer is kind of confusing it hasn't helped. The wheel I currently have is a csl elite and I want to know what a good direct drive is. Ie dd1, GT DD Pro, thrustmaster direct drive wheel or the logitech direct drive. As ive already got pedals and a wheel is it worth my upgrading to the dd1 just the wheel base or the gt dd Pro just the wheel base. Or shall I sell my whole set up and go for a completely different brand. Im only going to be using on a PlayStation so some of the other direct drive brands won't work on the PS.
If you’re already on a CSL elite base aka Fanatec ecosystem wheels & pedals, I’d recommend just moving to the podium F1 (essentially DD1) if you need PS compatibility as CSL DD/GT PRO DD will largely just be a lateral for you with a moderate increase in fidelity as the NM is essentially the same. This is coming from some who owns a g923, GT DD PRO and the Podium F1 bundle.
I really see the logitech only being a contender for people who want a premium console experience and are not already in an eco system.
Dude gt dd pro is the best base for playstation. I even prefer it over the dd1. Just sell ur elite base and buy a gt dd pro. Simple as that!
@@Martin-vn9fr thanks ive been eyeing it up for some time just need to sell my base and then get the new base. Your not the 1st person who ive heard say that bout the dd pro
Are the pedals compatible with the g920? Im 15 and can’t exactly spend 1300 because I gotta also buy parts for my car so I have to buy them separately.
Why mine doesn't work on Asseto CC. I'm using a PS4 and it doesn't even work changing the compatibility for g29. Please help
How does it compare to the new moza system. Would like to see a side by side comparison.
If i put the wheel on 11nm and in gt7 the force feedback on 6, the forcefeedback will be 60% so 6,6nm will i still have a peak of 11nm or just the 6,6? How does that work?
i would wait and see what Thrustmaster has to offer this November before making any decision. they are coming out with a direct drive also...
Ps in gt7 you can adjust pedal dead zones for g29 certainly so id expect same for this
If your game is true force compatible does the wheel recognise it or do you still need to turn it on?
Hi Boostedmedia, thx for all your informative vids. I purchased the pro wheel and pedals for PS5. Could you or anyone reading this list your recommended settings for the wheelbase/pedals (ghub) and in game settings for GT7. Appreciate any feedback! Cheers
I just got the fanatec v2 LC pedals (thanks to your awesome review) and the drive hub to mix with my t150 wheel. When I upgrade my wheel, will the Gpro work with the drive hub?
What do you think about these pedals ?
@@kamilhadjidj546 idk still waiting on them. I'll post once I use them. But by no means will I be a good source. I'm new to sim and have the t150 set. So I'm sure these will be game changing for me. 😄
Im wondering if True Force is something like what Thrustmaster has in the T-GT/T-GT2 base?
A Gran Turismo 7 setting video would be nice
It seems acc and logitec trueforce don't get along... my g923 needs a specific load up sequence in that game to run it... bit of a shame about the behemoth size of the base too... be nice to see it in the flesh before buying
Hello, will it also work with Xbox despite the choice of the PS5 version?
Is trueforce reserved for Logitech or could it be licenced to other makers?
And could it be integrated with a software update only on a DD1 for exemple ?
It’s a Logitech proprietary API so I highly doubt it’ll be opened up to other manufacturers
@Boosted Media I did not catch. Do actual compatibility mean that if i buy xbox version it will be compatible with PlayStation as well ? Or i need PlayStation wheel anyway ? I want a solution for both consoles (xbox + ps)
You need to buy the playstation pack in all cases to play on playstation as the security chip is inside the big plastic box. Later on when they'll sell additional wheels, if you pick a xbox wheel then you'll be able to use it on both xbox and playstation as the xbox security chip is within the wheel. Still remain to be proven if all buttons will work on both consoles though.
can you do a video of the best load cell pedals to buy around 300€?
How do you get the PlayStation wheel to work on Xbox?
I believe you need the Playstation wheel base and an Xbox Wheel rim. The problem here being that Logitech doesn't sell the Xbox wheel rims without the Xbox wheel base as of yet.
Could you use fanatec pedals with the Logitech base on a Playstation?
