It was a whole experience! Probably gonna be at least 3 videos on the process itself, plus maybe a few sprinkled in over time as like "lessons learned" and that type of stuff. Thanks for checking it out man!
Next video is a quick install I did on an old school Monte (the one from my recent unboxing video, if you saw that one). Definitely trying to squeeze in some more work on my car as well. Thanks for the feedback man! and I really appreciate you checking out the videos!
Lots of "overdone" out there so it's nice to see underdone doing the job at that level. Smaller systems that compete... OWNER BUILT SYSTEMS... Man on the other side of the world we got some crazy shit too. Have you ever seen "Wasted information"? Got a demo from him the other day. He blew his windshield at south of the border, doing i think 175db on music
I’ve seen the pictures floating around the internet! You got a demo from that?! That’s awesome! That thing looks like a beast. I’m definitely trying to hit some distant meets and shows next year, so hopefully I get a chance to see for myself!
@@DaBadNewz oh yeah he gave me some sauce too. It's other worldly. If you ever find yourself in the great state of South cackilacky there's Alot of bass here. I just got my blazer hitting nice and windy with very low power!
Yea man from what I see online, it seems like the south and midwest really got the biggest scenes. Seems like all the really crazy builds are from back that way. I’m DEFINITELY trying to see for myself!
Engine swaps are easy, disconnect all wires at easiest point, some are on engine sensors, but some have a main cable that comes out with engine usually through firewall. But everything else is frame setup. Some frames are sub and drop right out the bottom. Others might have to go up dont over think an engine pull, only essentials. And take pics when in question for memory.
I wouldn’t call it “easy” necessarily, but definitely simple. There is also the issue of figuring out how to even get access to some of the connectors and hardware with limited tools/equipment. You mentioned how some engines just drop out the bottom (like mine does), but that’s assuming you can lift the rest of the car high enough to even achieve that, (which I could not). But I can definitely get behind only pulling essentials and taking pictures, (that’s literally how my whole content journey started, just to document the process for my own reference) Thanks for checking out the video, and thanks for the suggestions! Engine changes are far less daunting than they used to seem before I did it.
I've been subscribed for 2 months, and i love these quality videos. You pick up big and small builds ,super humble dude. Drop ur ig i plan on coming to Diego for the upcoming meet.
Yea man I just love seeing people do what they can, with what they got, while having fun with it! And of it’s @DaBadNewz of course! (There’s links in the description too). And yea man next one is on the 19th at Fiesta Island, but if you check out the FB group in the description, it has all the info. See you there!
I’m gonna go into detail on it in the videos, but yea all in I think I’m about $2k into the engine change. I think (hope!) it was a good investment though…just wish I could have put that into the system! The shit we do for these cars man!
When I got mine, I got it from Mechman. Here’s the video: ua-cam.com/video/mxx8vhXQ9O0/v-deo.html I would also look into JS Alternators or AutoTech. Those seem to be the ones I see most frequently (but idk if they have one for our cars, but most companies will do a 1-off if you need it). Good luck! Hope that info is helpful!
I'm getting Soooo close to being windy as F bro lol I got the Ruthless 10k another 43.5AH of SCIB on the way to add to the 29AH bank two rolls of sky high 0 gauge OFC,LF Audio Wireless volume controller pro with the dual encoder and some DB werkz fans and Anti vibration mounts for the amps just waiting for everything to come in so I can get it installed I may have to get a different enclosure for the Tyrant 15 the placement of the box in the rear seat area is affecting the performance it slams but could be so much louder in the trunk and I found a guy right down the road from me that is going to do the doors for me it's coming together fast bro and my wallet is seriously SCREAMING 😱 lol

They are less than a year old knuconcepts rcas. Anyone have any idea 😂
Sounds pretty strange! I'd be checking the wiring just in case something got loosened while you were pulling out the other amp. Is it actually losing power, or just the signal?
@Pittsburgh-412 ahhh gotcha! In my recebt competition video I got some really bad interference while doing my meter run. Turns out one of my RCAs had been knocked loose and was basically just barely sitting on the connector. A lil squeeze with some pliers to tighten it up and it was money. Hope you have similar luck! Or at least get it figured out
Smiling at the lens under the hat 😂 But that really is a different experience 👏
