I can see the storm is raging And the wind that builds within I can watch the water open Its mouth so wide to take you in All is quiet, no one can tell All is quiet, deep in your heart there is a well Oh, the rain, is steady falling Listen how the rivers rise I can hear the lightning callin' And I can see the darkened skies All is quiet, no one can tell All is quiet, deep in your heart there is a well Deep in your heart there is a well Behind your eyes, a current's movin' Behind your eyes, a wind that churns Behind your eyes, a fire blazin' Behind you eyes, a forest burns All is quiet, no one can tell All is quiet, deep in your heart there is a well Deep in your heart there is a well Deep in your heart there is a well There is a well, there is a well
Thanks for not being a judgemental pud. I've always loved dm3, regardless of the instruments or beat they use. Each song, even the ones I'm not entirely fond of, are lyrical master pieces.
Seriously, I knew the devil makes three when it was 3 musicians; that being said the addition of the drum kit was shocking and pleasing at the same time. I love it too.
Too this day one of my favorite devil makes three songs, next to "the plank" so its a welcomed addition to the catalog. Thats why I'm here commenting 4 years later :)
@@danielrobertson2154 its because DM3 never had a drumkit, thats the 3 part...love you for you comment friend. Its all good, but this one cause of the drums 😅
I wouldn't be surprised if DM3 had never heard of the term rautalanka, literally iron wire in English, which is a very well known subgenre of schlager rock music in Finland. Yet they succeeded in creating an album full of it. I salute you.
I actually really dig this album a lot. This and paint my face are my favorites. This song is like the calm before a raging internal storm, someones about to do some damage 💀. Excited to see them in October 🪕
I can see the storm is raging
And the wind that builds within
I can watch the water open
Its mouth so wide to take you in

And I can see the darkened skies
All is quiet, no one can tell
All is quiet, deep in your heart there is a well
Deep in your heart there is a well

Behind your eyes, a wind that churns
Behind your eyes, a fire blazin'
Behind you eyes, a forest burns

All is quiet, deep in your heart there is a well
Deep in your heart there is a well
Deep in your heart there is a well
There is a well, there is a well
This album is very different from anything else they have done but still a masterpiece. The addition of a drum set completes their music very well
And this is such a good song

Can you recommend any of these artists to me? I love this album (and there old one too). Cheers.
My favorite track from the new album. Sounds like something from the old spaghetti westerns. The lyrics inadvertently sum up the first few yoga sutras
The people that disliked this were on the ship and got sea sick.
This stuff changes the rhythm of my heart. Beautiful
So far, I haven't heard a Devil Makes Three song that I didn't like. Well done, guys!
