A lot of folks hatin on the new album but I like it. Definitely different from any of the previous material. I dig the old school groove some of the tracks have.
Ashley Andrews totally agree with you. The devil makes three changed my relationship with music with their original sound, but I think the latest album is easily their best work and shows the evolution of their sound and style. Completely opened me up to new horizons musically and technically.Bravo guys. Double down with this style and tDMT will be relevant musically for years to come!
I def think this was a more rock-focused album, as opposed to their usual country/bluegrass/ folk/ blues approach. The same great musicianship and lyrics like all their stuff though. I dig it.
How many times are you gonna let your heart be broken? (How long, now?) How many times are you gonna watch good love die? (How long?) How many words do you think that you can leave unspoken? (How long, now?) How many trips before you see the other side? (How long?) They say they love you, they understand Why can't you see that they don't give a damn? We are the ocean Castles made of sand We are the ocean Castles made of sand How many clouds before you see the rain is falling? (How long, now?) How many storms before you know the sun is gone? (How long?) How many drops of water does it take to make a river? (How long, now?) How many notes before we sing a different song? (How long?) They say they love you, they understand Why can't you see that they don't give a damn? We are the ocean Castles made of sand We are the ocean Castles made of sand There's nothin' stronger, forcin' movin' water Cuts through cold stone like a knife through butter That's how it is now, and only gettin' larger The way this thing goes, is in the hands of sons and daughters They say they love you, they understand Why can't you see that they don't give a damn? We are the ocean Castles made of sand We are the ocean Castles made of sand We are the ocean Castles made of sand
I read somethin somethin about hate this or hate that, but I just found this band and they don't have a song that I don't like. Considering just following them around!
First...I love D3! But....I'm sorry but I just can't get with this album. This sounds like old pop FM. I like when bands stike out in new directions or break out of a mold they have cast for themselves.....but, Just think they could have done that and come out with something better...by far.
This particular song live is so dope. I always respect artists more when they are willing to take risks at the cost of thinning the herd made up of their fans
Incredible album so keep hating if you want. I love the direction they took for this album. Can't wait to hear what's next.

At first i hated this album but every single song grew on me as i kept listening..
I dig it. Very enjoyable record. Would challenge any naysayers to put something better together. I’ll keep listening.
GATT dawg this is the best song I’ve heard 😂
reminds me of sailing the bering sea with a bunch of goons enjoying life
Omg this is so marvelous
Hmm 33k views. Ever since I am a stranger here they seem different. Right?

yea. there's like one good and maybe two okayish tracks on it. underwhelming.
Love the album. Every track is great. Not a single song on any of their albums that I don't enjoy.
yeah i had the same opinion when it first dropped but damned if it ain't grown on me. Love Pete's writing no matter what instruments back it up.
