MISA (Bassist Assasin) has developed her own hybrid playing style where she seamlessly palms her pick while slapping. It’s like slight of hand magic- it’s there, it’s gone, then reappears!💪🏻🤘🏻
I know this is 5 months late, but just in case... You can really see it in action in Onset (live). It's an instrumental and the camera is on Misa's hand as she does that. Pick - Slap - Pick *without missing a note* . It's easy to miss, but sooner or later during re-watching, you're like "Wait! Did I just see what I thought I did!?"
Misa (bass player) will use pick and finger techniques very often in the same song. She's developed a technique where she moves the pick into the joint of her index finger when she's ready to "slap". There is actually a trend in Japan right now of all female rock/metal bands. The list goes on and on and I'm sure many will list their favorites. Two of my other favorites are Lovebites and Alidious. Both of those are more in the Power/Thrash Metal vein.
A major difference between this and their 1st video - Thrill. Thrill was not written by BAND-MAID. Of their early work, most of their music was rejected by the label and management, and they were given songs to record. When you get to their 1st full length album - Just Bring It, that's when the majority of the songs were written by them, and it's also when the material gets really good.

I'm 71 and have listen to Rock and Roll since 1955 (Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc). These ladies are the best and most talented Rock band I've heard heard in 15 years. Hey guys are you okay. You haven't been around. I know life gets in the way. I am not concerned about videos. I am concerned about you two. I hope all is well with you both...................
Hey Ann, thank you for checking in. Yes we are ok, however I have been going through a difficult break up so my mind has been a little preoccupied lately and I haven't felt the enthusiasm to go on camera.
But don't worry, we will be back very soon! Thanks for supporting us, even still 😁
@@Algastar I am sorry to hear that. Those are really hard to go through. Do what you need to do. I will be here when you get back..................
Your reaction to video LITTLE BIG - PUBLIC ENEMY.
please React LOVEBITES - Shadowmaker... the successful Japanese female band outside, and has the same level as the Band Maid but with the power metal genre
MISA, powered by Jack Daniels! Kanami and Akane, powered by the Kami.

What the hell ,what do you know about gimmicky K-pop have you really actually listen to it don’t give me wrong I’m a huge fan of Band-Maid and BABYMETAL I am also a huge fan of K-pop which is really awesome 😎
I think what he meant by it was. Most K-pop and J-pop is fabricated. Another words not organic or real. Put together by higher-ups like in a corporation. Which is only desire is to make money. Talent at times can become second or third of importance !
I can see that you're sliding down the rabbit hole right there. You've seen and heard nothin' yet 😉🤘
bery cool and nice react!
While the video is indeed live, its been studio enhanced to make the audio clean
