Thank you Anna for this video, it is well appreciated. One thing we all did at some point, which is very cheap and women should never do yet they do ALL THE TIME- is gossip about other women, how they are dressed, how they behave, talk and the list goes on and on. Criticizing other ladies whether with your partner in private or with your girlfriends is the same bad manners, comments of the type: "what is she wearing, ...I can't believe she said this, etc", these are not ladylike behaviours in my opinion. So before learning how to dress, eat, talk, etc. let's just start by being less critical and be more embracing of other women lifestyles. We should stick up for each other. That is true CLASS! I find that women are often more judgemental than men which is appalling. We are all different, life's a journey of learning for all of us, let's just embrace that. Whether nails are chipped or not, an unladylike behaviour stinks more than a bad pedicure. Imagine a lady on the other side who gently help other women without being noticed, I believe her generosity makes her a million times more beautiful than a drop dead top model. Why? Because beauty is in your souls ladies, whether anyone noticed it or not. Be THAT women, and I tell you you would attract people of same caliber in your circle sooner or later.
This is a channel for women who want to elevate their appearances and evolve constantly. Gossiping about individuals is atrocious behavior, however using a unknown person as a random example on what not to do is completely fine. A person should learn from the mistakes of other whether or not they are on a journey.
Anna I’m not a lady, but still I love watching your videos. It’s peaceful, fun, relaxing, and educative. Thank you for making the world a more civilized, elegant, and beautiful place! ❤
I’ve been watching your videos for a few years and despite i wouldn’t consider myself very elegant I can definitely apply all your tips to my personal style and I can say I upgraded. Behaviour and style. Thank you so much.
Thank you for promoting consideration to your neighbors! The people from apartment upstairs spent last summer in renovations, so I had to endure all machine noise while working from home. In the process they seem to have destroyed all isolation, so now I can hear each time they move a chair, or walk(or they just seem to be excessively noisy people in general). I asked the lady politely to make less noise, we'll see how it works out.
Wow, so many young ladies here! Wish you all the blessings and happiness in the world! I wish i would have had this knowledge earlier in life and hadn't made all the mistakes i made.
I like your channel. Etiquette rules are correct. Growing up my mother taught me all these rules and so I grew up knowing all of these things. In elementary school, our teachers taught us all these etiquette rules. I went to a public school but when I was going to school, they taught you all about how to be polite and a good citizen.
A video on hostess gifts would be great. I really don't like giving alcohol , and if I don't know them or there home we'll it's difficult. Meanwhile, I was just in Prague last week! Would have loved to run into you!
Anna- your clothing is always so beautiful! Most of us cannot afford expensive, gorgeous clothes like that. Would you consider opening a clothing line for those of us who would like to look elegant but don't have a huge budget? A line of not-quite-fast fashion, but not quite super high end, with somewhat affordable pricing? Thank you for your super-helpful videos.
Lol you can find quality clothes at an affordable budget. The internet is a bottomless resource to fulfill this need. Imagine thinking that "opening a clothing line" is as simple and quick as preparing a dinner.
Check out your local Goodwill or Savers in an affluent area. I have seen Armani and Chanel at Goodwill. I buy much of my higher end clothing there. They also have a lot of mass market clothing, such as Talbots, J Crew, Banana Republic, etc.
It is very important to never arrive empty handed. This is a very, very traditional thing in Europe. Anywhere you go, a nice wine, some fresh fruit perhaps - honestly anything. Good tips, very impressed!
Totally agree about Mykonos, I’m not saying anything is wrong with it per se, but so many other places in Greece are more beautiful, more friendly and have better beaches! 💙🇬🇷
I think sending a hand written - Thank You - note is classy. Though, a lot of people don't or no longer do it - but it something I find to be nice - because someone opened there doors to you.
I feel like everything youve said i’ve always felt it was common sense. It sound snooty but i think some people are just raised with habits instilled. Thank you Anna!
Anna has always featured multicultural models, which is fantastic, and I really appreciate that she is showing more plus size ones as well. It's great to have examples of elegant women who are curvier. Thank you, Anna!

Anna!! This was such a wonderful video. I’m in my 20’s starting a career in banking in NYC. I’m struggling to figure out how to act in work social circles, how to dress professionally and still fun (not boring). Also how to be my best self in a male dominated industry. Do you have any videos around this??
Thanks for the tip that you have to remove shoes on a yacht. Iv been in a few small boats for things like dolphin tours on holiday and none got asked to remove shoes. So good to know for the future.
You’re right. Mykonos is very crowded and very very expensive. You have to be extremely wealthy to go on vacation there Milos or Kimolos is also beautiful and of course Santoruni. Corfu Ithaki and in general Ionian islands or Dodecanese. Amazing destinations
Last tip definitely, always bring something at least a bottle of wine. Regarding bbq there are electric grills you can use indoors. And another tip when on a sailing boat. Always bring sneakers, and be barefoot. No heels a cardinal rule. I m a captains daughter, spent my childhood on boats with my father
I love this!! Especially, never show up empty handed at someone's home. When my sister got engaged and they stayed with us, her fiancé gave us lovely small gifts.
I really like Anna. She manages to keep things to the point, while being so elegant. Thank you for these points, Anna ❤️ You’re creating a lot of value for people and it’s great having you as an advocate for class and sophistication - beauitful treasures we cannot let go of. Thank you again!

I'm a Greek and I don't go to Mykonos.... You're right about everything you say , unfortunately. It is a beautiful island that became an overpriced destination targeting a very specific group of visitors... You could visit our other islands if you want to ! 🙂
I used to travel with crossbody bags but they can get heavy on your shoulder, now I alternate between a Chanel, Fendi or LV backpack and is such a game changer for a comfortable yet put together tourist look.
Omg when i was pregnant last year I also wrote to Anna asking the same question! Even now with a baby I wish she did a video on how to keep elegant while being a Mom to one or more children

Hi Anna, do you think you can do more videos on shoes? And also instruct us on how certain shoes should fit, and if it’s a good idea to wear no show socks with them? My favorite are ballet flats and pumps, but I don’t know what looks elegant and what’s cheap looking. Also, knowing what kind of trousers to wear with them is another thing, can you wear ballet flats with bootcut trousers or they have to be slim fit or straight fit?
I agree with all apart from the dewy foundation one - for me the photos you chose to use were gorgeous too😂. I have quite dry skin and summer is my time to shine! Also SPF (scream& spray format) tend to add shine too
These are such wonderful tips! Especially not going to anyone’s house empty-handed. I believe you don’t have to bring anything extravagant but always something. 🎁
Thank you for these tips. I've never been on a boat and may be this summer, so thank you for the tip about making sure your pedicure is on point. I was recently at an arboretum and saw a woman in exactly the predicament you describe - she had on high heels and a very short, very tight dress and was constantly pulling it down. I imagine that distracted from her enjoyment of the arboretum.
I am so very glad you are back Anna!! I am completely lost without your videos!! Please keep more coming!! Videos on elegance never get old. Plus you have helped me become a better more elegant lady! Thank you so much Anna!!😊
I am greek, living in Greece and what you say about Mykonos is absolutely spot on. Islands like Mykonos have become rediculously expensive! Most greeks cannot even afford to travel in their own country any more...
Is it the same for Santorini ? i have been in santorini 1 months ago, it was beautiful but everything was so expensive , and i know greek people who lives there are not too rich , and i was thinking how can they live there? can they go to the restaurant ? like us, tourist!
@@maelle6997 Santorini is also a very expensive destination, that's true! You pay for the famous sunset😂 It is very hard for us both to travel to the islands and to live in the city. Gas prices have risen drastically and everything is very expensive compared to our income...

Thank you for the check list Anna! I love the pictures you share of what to do and what not to do. I find myself falling for the good lighting, pretty model or just beauty of a photo I can’t see what’s wrong. So I really appreciate it when you use pictures!
7:29 this is why I never wear make up on my skin during summertime, maybe only a bit of blush (which looks even better when your skin becomes oily), inly do my eyes and/or my lips. The only time I would cover up my skin during the summer, is if I were going to an extremely fancy event - then I'd use concealer and powder - knowing I would be indoors where it's dry and cool anyways. But never in the sun. In fact, I actually love doing a bold lip with a bare face, I think it looks very fresh on most people.
Coconut smell in my opinion is everything than classy. I would instead recommend some very lightly perfumed body mist that can freshen you up whenever needed. Light floral or citrus scents are perfect for summer.
Omg thank you so much for coming back, i was making so many mistakes regarding my outfit.. Miss Anna can you make videos on how to style long pearl necklaces as I have been looking for it on entire youtube but no recent videos are uploaded it will be a great help if you make such video :)
Never arrive empty handed. This was drilled into me by my mom, and I remember so many occasions where the host was embarrassed I brought something, never brought something to my home, had never heard of such a thing, thought I was over playing the occasion, or (I am American living in London 15 years) told me ‘only Americans do that. That is so American. We don’t do that here’. But, there is a difference with different British people for sure. It’s a big class difference! The other one I think is a profound difference is sending thank yous. I told someone to be sure to write a thank you email after she went to a job interview and she said no one does that. And, thank yous after having a wedding, baptism, big milestone birthday party, sending Christmas cards to lots of people (they might be lonely!!) - all something that several people I know think is either super American, posh, showing off or just ‘too much’ for any occasion. Good to know I can be sure it is indeed good etiquette, after many awkward encounters that it isn’t/shouldn’t be standard!
Another great tip to ad elegance and color to your summer wardrobe - even on a budget - is to buy beautiful colorfull scarfs and use them as tops or ad them to both your summer hat and bag, so they match. Even shein has so many beautiful ones if you are on a budget. An elegant suer of color is here 2022 🥰

My Grandmother took me to Greece for my 16th birthday. One of the spots we went was Mykonos. I loved it and have great memories from our trip there. Sad to hear it has gotten so crowded.
Greek here. I would say that in stead of Mykonos you should visit Zakynthos, Rhodes, Milos(its a very small island that you can visit for 2 days and its close to Santorini so you can stay at both islands, I visited Santorini last year and the quality of tourism was very good, I recommend you visit at the beginning of September where it's not super crowded)

Please do one for " elegant things to wear on a cruise "
The last tip is so true! Just something small: a nice bouquet of flowers or a small box of nice chocolates. It shows class.
I finally purchased silk pillow cover because of you. Best decision ever.
“…And you sit there like an elegant feminine goddess.”
Words to live by!
Can you do classy looks to wear when doing regular errands and for lazy days to still look classy PLEASEEE 🙏
she already did a similar video
A video on hostess gifts would be great. I really don't like giving alcohol , and if I don't know them or there home we'll it's difficult. Meanwhile, I was just in Prague last week! Would have loved to run into you!
Anna- your clothing is always so beautiful! Most of us cannot afford expensive, gorgeous clothes like that. Would you consider opening a clothing line for those of us who would like to look elegant but don't have a huge budget? A line of not-quite-fast fashion, but not quite super high end, with somewhat affordable pricing? Thank you for your super-helpful videos.
Macy’s
Lol you can find quality clothes at an affordable budget. The internet is a bottomless resource to fulfill this need. Imagine thinking that "opening a clothing line" is as simple and quick as preparing a dinner.
Check out your local Goodwill or Savers in an affluent area. I have seen Armani and Chanel at Goodwill. I buy much of my higher end clothing there. They also have a lot of mass market clothing, such as Talbots, J Crew, Banana Republic, etc.
Good idea!
Marshals
It is very important to never arrive empty handed. This is a very, very traditional thing in Europe. Anywhere you go, a nice wine, some fresh fruit perhaps - honestly anything. Good tips, very impressed!
Totally agree about Mykonos, I’m not saying anything is wrong with it per se, but so many other places in Greece are more beautiful, more friendly and have better beaches! 💙🇬🇷
I never wear foundation in the summer. I wear tinted sunscreen and that's all I need.
xo~linda
I think sending a hand written - Thank You - note is classy. Though, a lot of people don't or no longer do it - but it something I find to be nice - because someone opened there doors to you.
I'm from Greece and I agree with your opinion about Mycokonos there are better islands for people who want to visit Greece such as Corfu or Santorini
I feel like everything youve said i’ve always felt it was common sense. It sound snooty but i think some people are just raised with habits instilled. Thank you Anna!
I love how she never intrudes her courses and gives us even free stuff. This is 100% elegance. Thank you ❤️
Hello can you like my comment from your official profile so I will be sure this is not a scam 🙂
Anna has always featured multicultural models, which is fantastic, and I really appreciate that she is showing more plus size ones as well. It's great to have examples of elegant women who are curvier. Thank you, Anna!
Love your channel! So rare to find someone promoting self respect and high value etiquette, thank you
Welcome Back Ana!
Thank You for the check list. Very beneficial... I'm going to use it for an upcoming event.
I’m glad! It’s an amazing tool to make sure everything is on point!
I'm obsessed with your channel, it has become a habit for me to watch your videos every day while I brush my long hair after taking a shower ♥️ I’m so glad you are back
Greetings from the Middle East 🤚🏻♥️
تحية من الشرق الأوسط ♥️
Whenever I feel down Anna always lifts me up. Pleaseeeee make podcasts again 💕
Anna!! This was such a wonderful video. I’m in my 20’s starting a career in banking in NYC. I’m struggling to figure out how to act in work social circles, how to dress professionally and still fun (not boring). Also how to be my best self in a male dominated industry. Do you have any videos around this??
Wow you go girl 🎉🎆🌷
Thanks for the tip that you have to remove shoes on a yacht. Iv been in a few small boats for things like dolphin tours on holiday and none got asked to remove shoes. So good to know for the future.
Corfu is an elegant island..my beautiful lady you have to visit Corfu...!!!! Thank you for your valuable advice
Greetings from Greece! In Greece most of the islands are elegant Anna!😉👍⚘🇬🇷
Which islands can you recommend for touristd to visit that are beautiful and affordable?
Thanks and I didn’t know about the “don’t wear perfume to beach”. Not that I do cause, I think scented sunscreens works great, as it is. Just nice to learn new things from your elegant advices. 👍🏼🤟🏼❤️
Or to restaurants, thanks
I'm a Greek and I don't go to Mykonos.... You're right about everything you say , unfortunately. It is a beautiful island that became an overpriced destination targeting a very specific group of visitors... You could visit our other islands if you want to ! 🙂
You are such an asset to women everywhere! Glad you are back.
I used to travel with crossbody bags but they can get heavy on your shoulder, now I alternate between a Chanel, Fendi or LV backpack and is such a game changer for a comfortable yet put together tourist look.
Hello Anna... please do one on elegance during pregnancy,I feel lost now more than ever
Omg me too!!! This would be great for me!
Yes please!!!!!
Omg when i was pregnant last year I also wrote to Anna asking the same question! Even now with a baby I wish she did a video on how to keep elegant while being a Mom to one or more children
@@lilywasserman1852 I was just thinking does Anna even have any children. I’m not sure if she’s a mom. But if she is! I definitely would love her to give us moms some advice
Yes please! And with a newborn.
Anna! Love your sense of humor! Love that you get right into your videos! No long intro chit chat. Thank you!
Omg!! Anna said everything!! I always thought that the “glossy makeup”unfortunately gave an oily aspect!!
Perfect video Anna, thank you ! You bring it to the point, totally agree with you ! You give the good example of a modern elegant woman.
You pay for the famous sunset😂
It is very hard for us both to travel to the islands and to live in the city. Gas prices have risen drastically and everything is very expensive compared to our income...
@@christineT1987 I was so disappointed about the famous sunset 😂 The view is amazing in Fira or Oia that’s true ! but i live in the South of France and we have the same sunset on the sea 😅
@@maelle6997 I know! there are much better places in Greece to enjoy the sunset! It's all about reputation and promotion. But still, it is very beautiful in Santorini too, even though maybe it gets really busy at times with a lot of crowd there and it loses its magic. Southern France is so beautiful!
Thank you so much Anna. I'm an 18 year old who has been watching and learning from your videos since I was 16. You have taught me so much.
I hate to spill the beans but I LOVE Malta! It’s my favorite summer place to go and I don’t even know anyone else who knows where it is!
Amazing video from Anna, such an powerful energy!
Loved all the topics, especially mistake #5 😂 I say: "If you need to pull a dress/skirt down, then don't wear it"
I work on a yacht and I can say that the shoes off rule is a must.
I've made the boating mistake, also not bringing something when going over somewhere then other people do and I feel bad.
Good advice as always.
Amazing video Anna, I totally agree with #4, there are people that think that because they have a terrace or balcony in their apartments, it is an excuse to have parties in the summer, loud noise and smells from a barbecue. It is just not fair to their neighbors! Much love to you from Spain
Thanks for the great tips! Can you do a video on classy gifts to bring to someone’s house? I feel like a bottle of wine or a plant is getting tired…
Anna, you are not an influencer to me. You are an elegance expert and Etiquette guru! Great tips. I will have to implement them myself and see what I'm doing wrong.
The same as wearing perfume at the gym….Some people are too much! Thank you Anna for your precious tips!❤
I was at Mykonos last year and it was absolutely perfect. Loved this island.
I visited Mykonos for just one day last summer as a stop on a cruise of the Greek islands... I loved it! I preferred it to Santorini!
Thank you for giving us how to dress up the right time and places.. God bless you maam Ana.
You're inspiring many out here including myself. Thank you!
So many people come empty-handed, even on birthdays today! I'm shocked. Thank you!
Another great tip to ad elegance and color to your summer wardrobe - even on a budget - is to buy beautiful colorfull scarfs and use them as tops or ad them to both your summer hat and bag, so they match. Even shein has so many beautiful ones if you are on a budget.
An elegant suer of color is here 2022 🥰
yes yes yes. on greece, not elegant in most places, naturally beautiful yes but quite rustic. so wonderful to see you!
what should you give when you visit people's houses ? Any ideas? I always get confused by this
Dear Anna it feels soo energetic and nice when you say my dear elegant ladies. I really like your videos it's helping me out to become more elegant in my daily life. Lots of love and respect from Pakistan.
I would love a video on proper gifts for visiting people at their home ☺️
Wine or flowers. That's it.
@@allisonangier1631 how about champagne?
Wine, olive oil in dark, glass bottles, sweets, high quality cheese.
Wine and chocolate for example
Thank you Anna for creating this video for summer elegance. Living in South Florida is such an daily task, dealing with all year round hot weather and these tips were very helpful. Thank you for the checklist, I keep it in a frame in my bathroom ❤️✨
Welcome back Anna, we missed you!
Thank you! 😘
My Grandmother took me to Greece for my 16th birthday. One of the spots we went was Mykonos. I loved it and have great memories from our trip there. Sad to hear it has gotten so crowded.
I have downloaded the checklist and it's really helpful. The best part is it's free. Thanks! 🙂
We’ve missed you, Anna! Thank you for these tips, great reminders!
Welcome back! I think we all missed you! Hope that you had a good break and are feeling fantastic.
