Corvette C8 How to get into Neutral to be able to push car.

This is just a cheeky way to trick the car that the door and or bonnet are closed so you can push the car.

will the seat belt threaded through the inner door handle and then latched, apply enough pressure to keep the door from swinging open at an inopportune time?
