Nice one Wayne and the FX King what a rifle i got mine this time last year and its never let me down and the accuracy still blows me away with slugs and also pellets.
@@simon6ppc246 thank you Simon. Yeah, an amazing piece of kit! I’ve watched quite a bit of your stuff with the King, and along with many other channels, it helped me to make the choice for this rifle. So, thanks for your content! Great stuff!
Nice video Wayne , just goes to show how hard sling shot hunting actually is, I can only imagin how hard it is to video then edit and post is, nice to see you looking at a broader audience , good luck👍
@@firecook4848 thank you mate. Catapult hunting is the hardest ever to film by yourself if you’re hunting in the wild. By the time you get the camera set, the animal has gone! You really need a cameraman to do it properly. Thankfully with scope-cams and shotkams, these types of videos are much easier to get the actual shooting footage. Cheers 👍🏻
Great stuff Wayne I’ve followed your content as a catty hunter to start with I’ve moved onto air rifles and have an fx crown .22 fac paired with a pard ds 35 it’s great to see you doing exactly the same as me Im regularly out of a night on my local rabbit perm with my crown I hunt for the pot mostly land owner likes to keep the numbers in check it’s a win win situation Anyway my fx crown is unbelievably accurate even when I stretch the range a bit it never lets me down I keep thinking I’ll upgrade to a king but I just don’t need to 🤣 Great video thanks keep em coming👍
Thank you for following along Tom. I still shoot the catty, but I got the permission on the grounds that I’d control the rabbits, and the catty just isn’t a feasible option for a 500acre farm 😂😂 I’m really pleased with the King so far. A really great piece of kit that does the job extremely well! Sometimes it isn’t all about need, it’s about enjoying things. If you want one, and you can afford it, I’d say go for it!
Decent session there. I run an FAC FX Wildcat in .25 with ATN X-Site, and a Huben K1 FAC in .25, also with an ATN X-Site I run the Wildcat at 40 FPE with JSB pellets and it is unbelievably accurate, and very quiet. I have the K1 running 45gr slugs at 895fps for just over 80fpe and it's sub MOA, and, being semi-auto, it's very useful on those occasions where multiple targets present.
@@taranscott155 Thank you, and nice kit! I actually re-tuned this one today to 69fpe, with a 36gr slug. Much better air efficiency! I can’t even imagine how a 45gr slug hits a rabbit! 😬
@@CattyShackHunter Some of my shoots are very sensitive, so even spent brass has to be cleaned up. FAC air rifles like these are quieter than a rimfire, and you don't have to faff with capturing casings, which is a pain no matter whether you use a S/A or bolt. Like you, I much prefer the air solution, and these modern guns and pellets/slugs can reach a very, very long way.
@@RMcGivern thank you. Yes, absolutely! The main things you’ll need to consider though, is range and weather conditions. A 177 can easily be affected by wind, and extreme accuracy is essential with that calibre and power level.
Great content as usal and thanks for your time making and sharing this. Word of caution though UA-cam dont like the blood side to these vids a blur or black and white the kills and warning caution thing at the beginning of the vid telling viewers what they could be in for if continuing to watch, wouldn't like to see anything happen to your channel maybe take this down re-edit to be on the safe side. Sorry to be bit doom and gloom hope you have a good Christmas and New year
@@nicksamsunggalaxys2404 thank you Nick. To be honest, I’d like to have blurred that bit out, but I don’t know how to, or even if you can on imovie.
