Hola Matt... Me encanta el terminado que le das a tus marcos , me gustaria mandarte un marco mio para que le des el terminado y te lo quedes, solo me gustaria ver como se veria ese marco con acabado profesional. Saludos desde Mexico Jorge Serna.
Hi Matt, it looks like you are onto something here. As soon as I start making bands your method is what I will use. I will try to find that material in my local crafting supply store, Michael's. On another note I was looking at your jig setup, it seems very simple which again seems ideal for me. Why spend $30 or more when a couple of simple clips work as well? Have you ever showcased how you created your jig? I suspect it would help quite a few people in the sport. Thanks once again Matt!
This is great thanks for sharing Can I ask for details on your band jig please .looks well made easy and practical And after buying questionable jigs ... I am looking for simple and repeatable results with no hassles
Thank u for video. I watched ur previous video 3 months ago old video of tying pouch with crystal string method. This is by far easier. I wanna ask you about band life comaparison between crystal string method and constrictor knot method. I tie my pouches with constrictor knot and polypropolene string and my pouches very often tear bands after 50 shoots. Im not sure what im doing wrong , maybe im strengheting constrictor knot with too much pressure as i saw in this video u didnt put alot of pressure on constrictor knot but again im tying my bands double layer 0.7 because im shooting big steel ammo so im not sure will it hold if i do just a little bit of pressure on Constrictor knot. U seem like very smart guy and might figure solution to my problem. Sorry for long comment ! All best !
@@vikinger-h7n Hi! I get similar band life from crystal string or the constrictor knot method. The important part of the constrictor knot is using cotton string. The synthetic strings will slice through the bands. I pull my constrictor knot pretty tight. The brand of latex will also have varying lifespans and the method of cutting the bands will also make or break the lifespan of a bandset. The edges should be very smooth when cut without any abnormalities. Hope this helps. 👍
@@Matt_Makes_Slings It has to be waxed cotton string ? I found in shop near me cotton string 1.3 mm but it doesnt says its waxed. Thank u for fast answer !

Es muy grueso pero si sirve... saludos
@@vikinger-h7n Seems like unwaxed would be fine as well. It's the 100% cotton aspect that's important.
Anyone tried a constrictor knot with amber tape?
where can i buy this string?
