- Full auto fun with the Mini UZI
This is a follow up to my first video covering the full size UZI made by Israeli Military Industries (IMI) and is the second variant to be created in 1980, the Mini UZI. The Mini UZI is relatively the same length as the full size UZI with the stock unfolded (24" for the Mini compared to 25" for the full size) and yet with the stocks folded, the Mini is significantly smaller in overall length at 14" compared to 18.5". It features a 7.8" barrel and fires at a fast 950-1100 rounds per minute in open bolt configuration. The closed bolt version, which is less common, increases accuracy by reducing the movement of parts before the round exits the barrel, but increases the rate of fire to between 1200-1400 rpm, which is on par with the Micro UZI.
This is a great submachine gun in so many ways, and is very controllable and compact. Its weight helps with recoil management and this version with a 3-lug barrel, allows for quick detach suppressors for specific mission requirements.

Only one variant left: the micro Uzi :)
Yeah… and sadly the micro has been one that has alluded me and my collection so far. I am always looking for one but when I find them either the build quality is not very good or the price is outrageous.
You just can't beat that for good clean fun!!!
What a nicely presented video
The Micro UZI is the real deal
Mini Uzi is the shortened version of Uzi Submachine Gun!
No shit????
water is wet
Jason, it is an absolute pleasure to watch your videos. I love how you provide some interesting facts about these incredible class III weapons and demonstrate how they handle, plus the joy you get from shooting these neat firearms is clearly evident. I have yet to try any full auto firearms myself and I really look forward to the day when I can. In the meantime, it's great to see collectors like you sharing these weapons with your viewers!
Val, I cannot thank you enough for your kind words. I have a lot of fun making these videos because I do them for myself and as you noticed… my love of sharing them with people that may have a fascination with them but never get the chance to enjoy them. Of you ever find yourself in the Phoenix area let me know and I will take you to the range to some full auto fun!
@@LegacyArmsIntl Wow, thank you for your response, Jason! I would love to plan a trip out to the Phoenix area at some point to come by for a range day, that would be awesome! I'm currently working overseas but I'll definitely drop you a line when that time comes. In the meantime, keep doing what you're doing and I'll be tuned in! :)
Boa tarde muito top beleza
Holy smokes, I did *not* expect that rate of fire! The closed-bolt version being 1250-1400 sounds absolutely insane. Was that a 20-round magazine? You'd dump that in, what, a second?
It’s very fast. I have only fired a closed bolt mini once and it was honestly on the verge of being uncontrollable. This was a 32 round magazine.
Nice
Awesome cyclic rate
Great video! Loved the details. Maybe throw a teaser of it firing in the very beginning too. Without sound? I dont know. Anyways, great video.
Sorry if im too critical im just hoping you get a lot more subscribers!
You aren’t being overly critical at all! I am still new to this and trying to find what works so feedback like this means a lot to me! Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to releasing some more videos in the weeks ahead of some great full auto firearms!
Bro if i have FFL 7 then will i get automatic firearms made after 1986
No, a 07 FFL allows you to purchase and manufacture title one firearms only. To purchase or manufacture title II firearms (post sample machine guns) you need to have a 02 SOT as well.
Jason, where are you ?❤
Still here my friend and getting ready to film some new videos. I have been very busy working on different projects and also waiting on some new firearms for me to make videos of. I appreciate you reaching out and stay tuned for some new content coming out in the next few weeks.
Stupid fast rate of fire, hopefully they had good factory triggers.
1:50
You're welcome
Bro can i modify semi into fully auto ak 47 or ar15 what will be the cost is it legal in USA Love from India bro
No, as an individual, you cannot legally modify a firearm to convert it to full auto here in the United States. Transferable firearms are available but highly restricted, limited in availability and high in cost.
@@LegacyArmsIntl thanks you bro to give me this knowledge
At 1:08 Mini CB 12-14++ minute... maybe true with weak 9mm. Mine with NATO ammo 1700/minute always. Old Uzi runs that 6-65 0 what ever ammo you use. Micro 1550, suppressed 1780/minute.. mini when supressed had not timer.. so how much faster than 1700? I do not know
You will have to post a video of that. I have never seen an mini-UZI fire that fast and I own a couple of each variant and shoot NATO 115 and 124 gr ammunition through it. Would love to see something firing at that rate of fire.
@@LegacyArmsIntl sorry not in the miltary anymore so GI ammo no more available. IPSC people have those timer’s so if Sir you’r guns are genuine IMI they shoud shot as fast. (”Boil” ammo in direct sunlight… faster the powder burn’s)
+ IMI/ New Iwi factory booklet’s says something… timer something different 😎
