Guns like this have greatly reduced the appeal of SMGs. Some argue there remains a niche for traditional SMGs like the MP5 (and modern descendents like the Sig MPX, B&T APC9, etc.), but for almost any role one might have used an SMG for in the past I'd rather have a select-fire X95. I can't help but imagine having one of my own as a potent home defense gun! The elongated semi-auto civilian version is a good rifle, but it doesn't have the same appeal to me. Thanks for the look at this gun, it's very exotic to us due to the NFA. (There remains a significant role for small SMG PDWs at least, since intermediate cartridges don't fit in a pistol grip and so small assault rifles won't replace concealable or holsterable guns like the B&T MP9.)
Thank you for your well thought out comment. I would tend to agree with you, which is why you see less of the 9mm platforms, and more of the carbine/ PDW platforms in both LE and military use for CQB. I have a video of the select fire B&T APC556/223 PDW on here as well, and that is a very capable and small system for use in an urban environment.
this weapon tends to lower the barrel when bursts are fired . It would probably group proyectiles over long distances . You might film a video test using a 2 meters square cardboard target at 50 to 80 meters .
Same gun. MTAR-21 is the designation used for the guns issued to the Israeli Defense Forces as of 2018. The X95 is the designation used by the rest of the world and references some improvements that were made upon the original design in 2013.
I haven’t shot Sierra Match King ammo through it yet. The barrel is a 1:7 twist which is ideal for 77 grain but I have been shooting Hornady Black 75 gr through it. My zero groups from a rest measured just under 1 MOA out of the 15” barrel. Smallest 5 shot group was .893” and largest was 1.012”. I have not fired it out to 500 yards, but at 300 I can consistently hit a 8” steel plate firing unsupported.
Arguably the best bullpup in the market right now
I would have to agree with you on this!
Arguably?
I'd be interested to hear how it stacks up against the MDR!
You are one of my favorite new gun channels. I really hope your page takes off.
Thank you so much. That means a lot to me. Just filmed a batch of 10 more full auto firearms so there will be more videos coming soon.

Good 👌
Is that MTAR-21 ? or different gun?

What kinda groups are you getting with 77gr Sierra match King otm ammo?
Does it perform well upto 500 yards?

Jaysn bro which license is required for make own machine guns
FFl plus an SOT endorsement, but you only need an FFL to buy a new one, not the pre 86 crap, so why mess with SOT.
*tosses semi-auto X95 in the trash*
Well this things pointless now 😤
It’s so small in your hands
Ha Ha! Yeah! I get that alot!
@@LegacyArmsIntl Honestly, I thought you were holding a H&K MP7 at first
It's also the 13" version (SBR/Machine gun in this case) which is smaller than the standard X95.
