Am I giving away my age when I say I can remember when a person could by an Israeli Arms Uzi (in semi-auto) at Wal Mart? Actually, it was in the early/mid 1980's. They came with 2 barrels; the traditional shorty and a longer barrel. Oh, those were the days. Now the government is trying to take everything.
Did you buy one and if not, why not??
Dang guns... you can't trust em. Always sneaking out causing all the violence
I wonder why... 50 shootings a day in just 1 city of America every day...
Damn that's a dream! I want one like in this video the medium sized rifle and it can't be found anywhere.
A couple things missing:
The Uzi intentionally had the magazine in the grip to ease in finding the magazine well in the night. Finding your hand with your other hand in the dark is instinctual. The standard magazine also was 32 rounds.
Second, the magazine feed lips were used by IDF soldiers as a bottle opener for a while. After realizing that it was impossible to get troops to stop doing it, command threw in the towel and added a bottle opener to the Galil rifle.
Still looks cool as hell
My personal weapon when I was drafted in 1984 during the Cold War. As I was a truck driver in the Dutch army, the compact size was ideal to stow away the weapon in my truck cabin.
Lovely weapon, was my 1st gun when I enlisted, they had some issues, but still loved to shoot this thing!
uzi,the small beast. compact, light, reliable and fast
Uzi. Basically pistol. But waaaaaay better
@@epicface2199 waayy lethal ahaha
Sweet gun
0:50 UZI NINE MILIMITAH
Piece of art
The Uzi was a made for "out in the field" combat with a 10" barrel having an effective range up to 200 meters. A cyclic rate of full automatic 600 rpm,if rate went any faster, the troop issued with Uzi would be changing full loaded magazine more often.
The big box gun shop down the street from me had two for sale last time I went, a Micro for $12k and the full sized for $15k... 9mm and .45ACP respectively. The only thing keeping me from making that impulse purchase was the ammo shortage and how much doo-doo I'd be in at the local range. There aren't any signs or rules about rapid fire but I don't want to get banned for automatic fire. Second, ammo shortage. Third, just wondered how hard it must be to find additional magazines. Would the semi-auto mags fit?
you dont know much about guns......you need to start reading up instead of having us do it for you
@@chadhaire1711 You could be right. I've been pulling triggers for only 24 years but totally naïve. Glad we cleared that up.
@@DareToBeDeviant There is NO ammo shortage....all the 9mm you want online at 75 cents per round.....if you have the money to spend $14K on an UZI you should not have an issue spending $750 for a thousand rounds of 9mm. But buying a 1,000 round case BEFORE the prices go up solves the issue...if you have been shooting for 24 years you should have learned your lesson when Obama caused the last ammo "shortage" in 2013 and stocked up. The UZI isn't that great anyway..only reason to have is spare parts available.
Someone is selling one for 650. what a deal uh?
why the longer videos have the comment section off. specially the ones with the competition shooting. i would really like to read the opinion of other people , there's always something new to learn.
That's my favorite submachine guns
Be a kid, Have orange hair, wear a green shirt, beige pants and red shoes, Wield two Uzis and you got yourself a Pico cosplay
Hey you know what gun you should put in the video AK-47 yeah boy
I dont care if its a terrible gun its look so cool, i will use it to defend my life.
I just came here to see if the Tomb Raider uzi sound effects were correct
Cleo from Set It Off sent me here.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Paul walker has a uzi
My father in law used to say it was his first girlfriend in the IDF
Man I wish I could own one
You can. Just have to find one that is transferable. Make sure you don’t have any felonies, misdemeanors etc. Show that to the seller, he or she transfers the firearm to you with an FFL dealer.
@@chloehennessey6813 that's the thing finding one lol that's fully automatic and yes I have my CPL and I do own firearms already
Not a great design..this video is just silly..puff piece
Had an neighbor that got raided in suburbia The News Paper 📰 pictures had the UZI with a silencer on it front and center. It's just got that sinister look that almost screams testosterone. It sells/sold itself. Beautiful gun.
Daddy likey.
in the games and movies it shoots faster. 🤔
They made the UZI seem like it had a 1500 rpm in MW2 😂
@@tambrody2684 That's because there is different variants
The original IMI Uzi fires at 600 Rounds Per Minute.
The Mini Uzi could fire at 950 Rounds Per Minute
The Micro Uzi can fire at 1100 to 1200 Round Per Minute.
Your channel said shooting usa does that mean you are trying to make war with usa lol.
It's just to bad President Bush sign executive order on the importation of the Uzi
They still made them here, so what?
@@chadhaire1711 by who?
@@TheRealZJE313 Century Arms, Volmer, and a few others.....parts were not banned only receivers.

This comment section is high cringe. Excellent firearm.
How is it cringe?
What a fluff video..the UZI was NOT cheap to make....had way too many parts. Only works with hot ball ammo, with commercial ball, light ball, or hollow points not reliable as it either wont feed or have enough energy to push the bolt back......which is why they were not used by police. Cyclic rate too slow. Grip safety is too small. Front sight requires a special tool. The Steyr 81 is far far superior.
“To many parts”
Lol ok
@@chadhaire1711 lmao I have a parts kit right next to me, and besides the lower I’ll call it there’s not that much parts
@@tvv1881 I said TAKE IT APART GOOBER..ALL APART---all the many pins, screws, small stamped parts....far more than a modern rifle. That is why it cost more to make than a modern rifle....that is why they stopped making them.....HK MP5, Styer 81, Walther MPK. Madsen 50---all were cheaper to make. Plus I see you ignored all the other bad features and design flaws I mentioned---for obvious reason. It is NOT a good design.....fair at best.
@@chadhaire1711 I do agree about the ammo as I have seen it malfunction in other uzis before, I don’t get the criticism of the grip safety tho as for me it’s big enough and besides the tightness of the spring it’s ok, another thing to is I don’t get how it’s horribly designed as it popularized the Czechs telescoping bolt making smgs smaller now and more compact, I also wouldn’t think if it was such a horrible design it would be adopted by dozens of agencies and military’s around a the world including the FBI, don’t you think they would want a good gun if they were protecting the president. I also want to see sources on the price of making one as I was told it was cheap im interested in that
@@tvv1881 The grip safety is too short for many people. The barrel will not feed HP ammo reliably or many commercial rounds below 1100 fps. That front sight needs a special tool and is a pain to use. Military buying has more to do with bidding than what is good. The corrupt FBI is the worst choice for asking about anything. There were no cheap prices on the UZI....the AR15 was cheaper to buy....so were all other SMG's. Only advantage is the parts avail....but that is changing.
