Stop playing. Everybody knows what's up. The league is covering up for him. Players around the league won't say anything because of how it will make them look. But they know more than anybody. But I don't get mainstream media. I remember when Barry Bonds was planning they had no problem publicly questioning him every day. Now they're afraid to say anything about James. If he is smart he will retire soon before he eventually gives himself away.

LeBron doesn't jump as high or dunk the ball nearly as much as he use to in his career. His athleticism has definitely declined throughout his career, he just improved other aspects of his game so that he can still play at a high level without relying on his physical gifts as much. The thing he does the best is exploit mismatches. He will always be faster and more coordinated than centers and tall defenders, so he can drive by them and get to the basket, because they need to respect his jumpshot (which he has perfected throughout his career, contrary to folks like Zion and Ben Simmons who had similar, if not more athletic gifts). When smaller defenders are on him he just uses his strength and bullys his way and either shoots a turnaround mid range or drop steps for a layup

I mean, how much can a good diets, workout regimens or even cryotherapy chambers really do to fight against Father Time?
My best guess is that Lebron uses products that are borderline, and thus NOT illegal. Not a bodybuilder's trenbologna sandwich, but rather low level testosterone and salbutamol on some kind of therapeutic use exemption, or maybe more experimental things like bovine colostrum (very speculative I'll admit!). This includes expert trainers, physios, nutritionists, and some of the best recovery tech out there. It's a lot more comprehensive than just hitting the gym or eating right.
Also, I think it's a bit of a stretch to compare basketball with cycling. Sure, both are sports, but they're worlds apart in terms of physical demands and, let's be honest, their histories with PEDs.
And about the speculation on LeBron using 'borderline' products - it's a slippery slope to go down without concrete evidence. It's one thing to be skeptical; it's another to make assumptions. LeBron, like any athlete, is subject to regular drug testing, and without any actual proof, it's just speculation.
I believe it's fair to give credit to LeBron for his discipline and commitment to his health and fitness. I mean, combating Father Time isn't just about magic pills or secret formulas - it's about dedication, hard work, and making the most of the resources you have, and he has endless.

When's the last time he's played a full 82 game season? He's purposely doing what he's doing to preserve his body. People act like you turn 35 and your body turns to glass. What the issue really is is that traditionally guys just started resting on their laurels and would skip workouts because they'd paid their dues. Now, the guys who are really dedicated, like James and Curry, keep up with all the conditioning that most guys don't. It's going to be difficult to keep top-end speed into your late 30s but most of the game doesn't depend on that. You can keep the vast majority of your endurance and skill until well into your 40s if you work at it.

Di you know how far sports medicine has advanced since the 2000? And the game itself has changed so drastically that it's more plausible to last this long vs 1990-2010. Kevin Durant suffered what would be a career ending injury (Ditto Paul George). Curry's type of ankles derailed Grant Hill's prime because the treatment available to Steph wasn't available to Grant. The only anomaly I can think of from those earlier eras was Terrell Owens in football. The amount of training and the advances in training/medical science in 40 years, as well as the amount of advancement should be taken into account, along with luck (LeBron seems to have that).

Have you watched a modern NBA game? Because if you have, it's obvious why he's been around for so long. Here are the bullet points:
    - physical play is literally banned. It's easier on the body
    - all the long distance chucking means you're basically running from one three point line to the other on most plays, cutting down the total distance covered (unless you're Steph Curry)
    - there's so much stoppage in play nowadays, not just from mandatory tv timeouts, but also for all the referee discussions and asides that seem to happen every 3 minutes.
Overall, if you watch an NBA game on league pass with no commentary, you'll see how much downtime there actually is, and it's AOT

Thank you for raising this topic. Lebron James got noticeably bigger and stronger in his mid-30s. That is UNNATURAL. It is exactly what we saw happen with Barry Bonds, whose physique changed, and he went on a home run hitting rampage at about the same age. Also, few people remember that when Lebron left Miami and returned to Cleveland in 2014, he showed up for training camp having lost a great deal of weight and appearing much thinner. He was also a very different player on the court than he had been in Miami the prior season. He had lost speed, strength, elevation and overall athleticism. Numerous observers commented on those things at the time. That is when Lebron took a mid-season "vacation" from basketball. It is known that he returned to Miami, and when he finally rejoined the Cavaliers (I cannot recall how long he had been away), he looked much more like his old self. This raised questions in the minds of many about what happened down in Miami. We may never know, but I cannot shake the suspicions that James has been using PEDs for several years and possibly longer. Would the NBA sweep it under the rug? Well, they may have chosen to do so at the very beginning, which thereafter bound them to maintain the coverup.

It would make sense for the league to allow it because it allows the game to b more entertaining and for high level talent to stay out on the floor. They’re not fighting each other they’re putting a ball through a hoop. But I think he gave himeself away when he talked about how his doctor said his foot healed faster than anyone he had ever seen. Today's league make it easier for a player like Lebron once he's still in great shape. His stats looks the same when he was in his absolute peak prime and this is clearly because how the league has changed since around the mid 10's. Still was he's doing is impressive, especially because this year he's looking like the better version of himself since the 2020 bubble. Now how suspicious is impossibile to say but throughout his career there has been other moments where he looked off and then after some break he came back like a totally different player, also the speed on which his body react and recover after injuries is incredibile too. For sure he's a freak of nature and invested a lot on his shape but clearly some suspicious come to mind.

If we’re going to talk about Jordan taking significant time off can we please acknowledge Lebron has played only 2/3rds of a season (on avg) ever since he turned 33? And that he has missed more games since he’s been on the Lakers than Kareem missed in his entire 20yr career? I’m not saying that what Lebron is doing isn’t impressive, but I’m growing extremely tired of people acting like it’s unprecedented. MJ’s body actually was breaking down on the Wizards but when he wasn’t trying to play through cracked ribs and partially torn ligaments in his knee I.e. from game 12-game47 of the ‘01-‘02 season he was he was putting up similar numbers but without all the turnovers, missed free throws, and cherry picked baskets from lazy defense/hustle. All I am saying is we’re still only 1/4th into a long season, let’s at least wait till we’re in the last 1/4th of the season b4 we all start giving Lebron hand jobs for something that “we’ve never seen before,” especially since we’ve seen it before

I am the opposite of you in my reasoning, the fact that he has played sooooo long is what kills him, he still is not as decorated as Mike who played significantly fewer seasons at this point
My criteria is very extensive for the NBA GOAT, and much more stringent than most, that criteria is as follows,
*Required to be in GOAT conversation:(15 boxes to check)
    •10+ Playoff Appearances
    •4+ Conference Finals Appearances
    •3+ NBA Finals Appearances
    •2+ Championships
    •2+ Finals MVP
    •1+ Regular Season MVP
    •10+ All NBA Teams(1st,2nd,3rd)
    •Make an All-Rookie Team(1st,2nd)
    •12+ All Star Appearances
•10+ Additional Awards on top of all that
•Have to be the star player(1A at worst)
•Have to hold an NBA record
•Top 25 All Time in Playoff Win Shares
    •First ballot HOF(or future)
    •Check 60%+ of total boxes(50, 35 to go)
Those 15 alone cut you down to 10 players ever that can check all of those boxes, 2 more that can check every box but Finals MVP and All-Rookie Team... because they didn't exist yet or early enough, but hit everything else, you should be able to guess who those 2 are lol, they are the only 2 who can say that, those 12 players set themselves apart from the rest, next category is stuff that most of those 12 check, but not all of them on anything, some are increased requirements from stuff already in there to knit pick between them,
    *Commonalities:(15 boxes)
    •Win ROY(9/12)
    •Make an All Defensive Team(10/12)
•Win an All Star Game MVP(10/12)
    •Make more than 5 All NBA 1st Teams(10/12)
•Win back to back NBA MVP(9/12)
    •Back to back Championships(9/12)
    •3+ Championships(9/12)
    •Have a .500+ Record in the Finals(10/12)
    •Average a Career Double-Double(8/12)
    •Be Top 25 in Total Win Shares(11/12)
    •Be Top 25 in Points(9/12)
    •Be Top 25 in PPG(8/12)
    •Be Top 25 in Playoff Points(11/12)
    •Be Top 25 in PER(10/12)
    •Be Top 25 in Box Plus/Minus(8/12)
Last category is stuff no more than half of those 12 players have, and in all but 3 cases, it is 45% or less, to really knit pick, we get full blown on the increased requirements, heavier focus on defense, last of the list,
    *Rarities:(20 boxes)
    •Top 25 in RPG(6/12)
    •Top 25 in APG(2/12)
    •Top 25 in SPG(2/10)
    •Top 25 in BPG(5/12)
    •Top 25 in MPG(5/12)
    •Top 25 in Playoff PPG(5/12)
    •Top 25 in Defensive Box Plus/Minus(3/10)
    •50-40-90 Season(2/12)
    •Threepeat NBA MVP(3/12)
    •5+ NBA MVP(3/12)
    •Threepeat Championships(4/12)
    •5+ Championships(6/12)
    •Win DPOY(2/10)
    •Win multiple scoring titles(5/12)
    •Win a rebounds title(4/12)
    •Win an assists title(3/12)
    •Win a steals or blocks title(4/10)
    •Make more than 5 All Defensive 1st Teams(3/11)
•Win multiple All Star Game MVP(6/12)
    •Win a Slam Dunk or 3 Point contest(3/12)
😅 if you're still reading congrats, and thanks lol, here are the 12 players that meet all requirements available to them and where they rank in terms of percentage of possible boxes checked ✅️ in ascending order:
    12)Hakeem Olajuwon(30/50; 60%)
    T-10)Kevin Durant(31/50; 62%)
    T-10)Larry Bird(31/50; 62%)
    T-8)Kobe Bryant(32/50; 64%)
    T-8)Magic Johnson(32/50; 64%)
    T-6)LeBron James(33/50; 66%)
    T-6)Tim Duncan(33/50; 66%)
    T-4)Shaquille O'Neal(35/50; 70%)
    T-4)Bill Russell(28/40; 70%)
    3)Kareem Abdul-Jabbar(36/50; 72%)
    2)Wilt Chamberlain(30/41; 73%)
    1)Michael Jordan(42/50; 84%)
As expected... MJ is the GOAT, not expected, the gap between him and number 2... is the biggest gap on the list, he is on a level all his own, and it gets more obvious the longer you look 🤷‍♂️💯

No one is saying Brady's job demanded the athleticism of an NBA player to thrive, but being a contending starting QB at that age used to be unheard of. What changed.. health science/technology and what an athlete has at their disposal as far as personal chefs, trainers, and recovery. Michael Jordan came back from being out of the league for THREE YEARS at 38 and was dropping 23 a night. Why would you think that wouldn't take a jump two decades later from someone who never retired? Gotta say, I love your channel but this video is creeping into clickbait territory and I hope that it isn't a preview of where your content is headed.

Again, it’s more the minutes and time played over the course of his career. Brady is incredible and is another story of longevity that defies science, but Brady isn’t putting in the amount of time on the field as Lebron is with 16 games per season compared to 82. I don’t think it’s splitting hairs at all. Sports medicine and advances in tech aside, this is unprecedented

Im not necessarily a Lebron fan. But i absolutely admire and respect what he's done for the game of Basketball. There is no denying his greatness. Whether youre a fan or not. BUT i think its a fair question to ask about how he's maintaining this level of performance... But i hesitate because i dont want to slight his efforts thus far... But bro, this man is still playing like he ain't at the end. Its hard for me the believe. But any man in every sport has Declined by this time... Not saying its impossible but i think its fair to take note and assess...

People act like "miles on the body" is some kind of a problem, but it's not. The real problem is stopping your training regimen and having to rebuild those muscles when you're older. Lebron maintains his body throughout the off-season so he doesn't have to push his body to get back into the game like Jordan had to through retirement or Kobe had to due to achilles injury. Lebron's been able to avoid any serious injuries through luck/strength/skill, which also means he can maintain his body at a high level all year long.
His natural size and athleticism are also major factors in that he doesn't have to push his body as hard as Jordan and Kobe in order to keep performing. Jordan was putting up pretty big numbers at 39-40, it's just that he couldn't keep his knee healthy. That kind of break down will eventually happen to Lebron, as well, but maintaining his conditioning all year helps to prevent the kind of knee damage Jordan experienced from starting in the first place.

Explain him losing weight and losing athleticism way back in 2014 return back to Cleveland…he was not playing above the rim at beginning of the season

@@mrgartrellofficial I don't recall LeBrons conditioning in 2014, but he probably lost weight for the same reason Kobe did in his late career, to try and maintain endurance. Playing below the rim could have been any small injury that he was able to play through for a couple of weeks before returning to form.

@@slikedragon bro that DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE PERTAINING TO LEBRON...he lost that weight as soon as NBA mentioned a new drug testing policy...then went to Miami for two weeks and put muscle back on...so to prolong his career, WHY DID HE NOT KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF....what injury? THERE IS NO INJURY that you will lose athleticism then all the sudden return to form along with muscle gain within two weeks...NONE

Were there NBA players or any athletes out there who spends so much money on their body to be in shape, like millions of dollars? Given training is perfect, LBJ always say that his mindset is the main ingredient and driver on his performance at his age.

its not a secret TRT is basically the norm in sports now.We saw Durant doing last night what players would dream of doing in the past. Steph is slowing down if slowing down means falling to the maybe second best PG in the NBA. As Extreme as Lebron's case is and the credit he deserves because he does deserve it, you cant deny this is a trend. Lebron isnt an aberration he is the norm now.

Lmao! Playing at an elite level? He plays zero defense... he has 2 moves. Hes gonna steamroll to the basket for an uncontested layup or shoot uncontested 3s. He horrible from the free throw line, and wants nothing to do with crunch time moments. That is not elite.

Hell, without even speculating on PED usage, Lebron James longevity can be attributed to his not playing hard on both sides of the court, the league continually getting softer and easier, and the officiating becoming highly suspect. I have another question. How can someone who is supposed to be in such great shape be constantly acting like he’s dying when he gets “fouled”?
