- During a flight into DFW airport, storms were flourishing in the area. In this video, you see close ups of the storm cell and it's cumulonimbus clouds. These are clouds that grow vertically and produce heavy rain, lightning and thunder.
Whew thank goodness for planning flight paths, those clouds look nasty 😨 yet at the same time cool! 😎

Cumulonimbus calvus is the name of that cloud, it's just a normal thunderstorm, no supercell.
