- After working on my 1976 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster Chopper Bobber and finding out that I made a mistake on installing the Mid USA electronic ignition unit, I decided to load up my 1979 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FXS 80 to take it with us to Florida for the Forgotten Angels Shadetree Surgeon Weirdo Campout by hauling it with a 1985 Ford Econoline Conversion Van.

To everyone who was kind and complimented my singing, thank you! Most of all THANK YOU Corey for your friendship. It's such a very cool honor to have a spot in your life. Respect.
Always good to see you
The entertainer at the campfire has more talent than 90 percent of what we hear on the radio!
Agreed that was a nice ending to the video.
Randall rydes is his name. He has a channel. And he is awesome!
Agreed!
Amen to that.
Thanks everyone ❤
Damn that dude singing it is good. He needs to record that song
I agree!
Okay
"Back in the saddle again". Good to have you back,- Lefty (I'm a Viet Nam vet, the guitar guy got it right about the freedom bird).
Wow thanks respect!
@@randallrydes Saw your wreck video, God had your back! - Lefty ( I live in Wyo., we always say if you get bucked off the best thing you can do is to "cowboy up" and climb back on). Ya done good.
Like your van setup nice to get together with your friends looks like fun the guy singing needs to put out an album sounded great
Thank you
The video was great! That dude can pound out a tune! Someone give him a contract! Sorry about the dent Tramp.
Thanks man!
The ending edit is killer. Great work
Thanks, man!
Love dudes setup on his Softail ! I think it looks great !
It definitely gets attention.
"she's not a morning person" 😂😂😂😂😂
nice shaggin wagon ya got there pal!
artistic ending 🎉 nice work sir 👍🏼
I’m NOT!! ESPECIALLY when he wants to point a camera at me!
@@themissuscostelli497 totally understand! 😄
Had to laugh when you started talking about rescuing old shovelheads LOL Josh's definitely needs a lot of love shown to it I can just see a second garage with big bold letters above the door saying Shovelhead Rescue Center
Great video. Excellent ending with the music
Best vlog from the camp out hands down. God Bless you brother
Good time for sure. Thanks for taking me along.
Maybe make it down in October?
great video, sitting around the camp fire was cool also and the van so cool took me back in the day had some great times in an old chevy van thanks for sharing
Amazing content I think the fire pit is coming back next time it was my favorite part 😊
Just no diesel fuel!!! 😂
Georgia I wanna hear you sing!
Bring it, man!
Was praying y'all dodged the tonado's . . brotherman..stay safe👍
We're good here
I fully agree with the rescue center for abused shovelheads 😊
That's camping in style right there, old vans & shovels. Good stuff!!!
You got that right!
Like it 😊. When videos are this easy to watch, it’s easy to forget the effort put into it. Thanks for making the effort 👍
Thank you! 😃
Mike is a great guy, he comes up and rides with us occasionally. Randyll is cool, we hung out at K River a few years ago. Hope to see you soon!
Boy that sure looks good me and the misses did need a day like that
Love to see you and the Mrs. Having a good time together!
Thanks! That makes two of us.
I vote you the best video maker at the Forgotten Angels Campout this go around!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB ,Big Thumbs Up.
❤
Thanks you, Robby
Enjoyed riding with you and the Mrs out to the winery during Forgotten Angels.
Likewise!
Nice video thanks. Your wife is a good sport to put up with your humor. Mine doesn't appreciate mine either.
😂
Same here
awesome video, Saddle Tramp! thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Sure thing, my friend.
Ol' Yeah, I 'm not much of a morning person myself, in fact I will normally tell people I am not consider legally awake until I've finished my second cup of Coffee. But after that all said and done, it's like, Big Party Time, where's the Whiskey....?
That Poor Shovel from Oregon looks like 40,000 miles of bad road, and it also looks like it could do another 40,000+ miles, just so long as they have some 200 mile per hour Duct Tape in the Saddle Bags.
Great Video Van Man.
I do need to add I have a trailer similar to yours. Took that wind sail ramp off and threw some planks on the trailer for taking the bike on and off. Trailed my Sportster one year to Sturgis. Put more miles on at Sturgis than a number of my friends who rode to buffalo chip and only got on their bikes to get more whiskey Rode so much every day while there. The biggest advantage was riding every day knowing when you left you can put the bike on your trailer.
It was great seeing y'all again, thank you to you and Kim for feeding me bacon, y'all got me looking at vans now.
Bacon!!! And vans!!! (but the gas mileage sucks on the old ones - literally!)
@@themissuscostelli497 True, but it's great to pull into a truck stop or rest area and crawl into the back and go to sleep.
Haha... It's always good to see you too, Matt.
Careful talkin bout those ole Shovelheads!!!
Looks like y’all had a great time!
Hope to see y’all soon! Love ya both. Blessings 🧷👊
Sure thing, CD.
Your van does look excellent the inside you and you and wife did a hell of a good job I'm thinking about getting one now thanks a lot lol keep up the great work my friend
Hey Corey, Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting you and Mrs. Saddletramp at the campout. Thanks too for the personal tour of your Van, real cool. Hope to meet you again. Keep Well both of you. Kevin, South Africa
Hey, man! Good to hear from you again! Likewise, hopefully we'll cross paths again!
Great video , reminds me of the old days , never had a bike fall over . But never say never . Hope the back HEALS soon looking forward to more videos .
Mike Bodine is a really good guy. I met him at VAMM last year. Man the van is a great idea. Sorry to see your bike fall over on the trailer. Great video thanks for sharing. Ride Safe
Mike Bodine is an amazing man and I’m happy to call him a friend.
Sing it Randall!
Yes sir
I’m glad a good time was had by all. Sorry too hear about the one that went down. Was that Randle Rides jamming at the campfire. He sounded really good.
Yep... The one and only!
Thanks man!
That is a great ride set up for travel.
It really is
It was an amazing weekend. Can’t wait till October. Darn, I was hoping to see my camper on your video. 😊
Sorry. The video was running a bit long in the edit and had to make several cuts.
@@SaddleTrampTV I totally understand. Maybe another time. 😊. Take care and keep putting out great videos
Nicely done man. Enjoyed the music you had and the ending camp fire deal was perfect. Thank ya'll for letting me hang around while I was down there!
We always want you around 😊
@@themissuscostelli497 thank you ma'am ... Good job to you btw on video you captured while riding.
Thanks for being around, man!
Woo hoo!
If you have that distributor in the van that has the ignition module bolted to the side of the base of the distributor put it on your to do list to buy one and put it in the van. Also pay attention to the screws as it requires special bit. Pain in the ass with the right tools and almost impossible without. Great van though. I've owned a couple.
It has the ignition unit screwed to the fender well. I do plan to get a spare one of those. They're known for taking a dump too.
Good ol Trucker 2Times....been subbed to him for at least 15 years or more. Always great for a laugh!!
hell yeah Corey , i had a blast hanging with everybody at the campout. looking forward to the October campout 👍
We were there at the campgrounds wish we were able to meet you maybe next time but this video kicked ass loved it !
Good to see you getting around a little better.... Love that ol school sound 👊🏽😎
Meeeeeee too!
Looked like a great time!
Looks like I missed a good time, can't wait to see yall in October.
Looking forward to it!
I laughed a little to hard at the misses shutting the door in your face! 😂😂
Josh, I am NOT a morning person - especially when he try’s to stick a camera in my face!!
@The Missus Costelli It reminded me of Ash. 🤣🤣
Corey, my back feels a lot better after watching this one. Great Video. Looks like you and the Mrs. had a great time. Thanks for Sharing!
😎👍😎
Glad to see your up and running ..
Hopefully Dave didn't get hurt in the tug-o-war ..
He came out without a scratch.
Again a video i very much enjoyed watching.👍 Glad to see you and the Missus had a good time and weren"t hit by the storms. Here, on the other side of the Atlantic, we are inpatiently waiting for the spring to finally arrive and give us some warmth, sun, and the opportunity to jump on our bikes again. 🤘
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks like a good time was had 😎👍
It sure was!
Had a great time at the campout. It was great seeing you again
Dang good video Corey👍👍👍
Thank you, Ffeji
Àlways enjoy your videos. Ít has been a bad weekend for the folks in our southern states with the horrible storms, our prayers go out to everyone.
That Tug of War looked hilarious, good to see people getting together and enjoying themselves.👍🏼
It was fun to watch
It was great seeing y’all at the Campout. The shovel head looks great. Stay safe y’all.
Good seeing you as well!
Great vid and great seeing you and the Missus again! Can't wait till Oct!
Same here!
Sweet bikes and I love the David Mann poster in back the ghost rider painting I always wanted to do that as a tattoo on my back
And thank you for the shout out!
Sure thing!
Great video!! The guy on the guitar was really good.
Thank you
@@randallrydes Found your Channel and subscribed.
Great seeing y’all at the campout!
Same here , man!
I love that you don't know how that works .
I don't feel so alone . Everybody knows everything about Harleys but me
Trial & error is typically how I learn.
That van is an awsome idea small light trailer, air, nice bed. Got me thinking about looking around for one
Great video man
Glad I can be a bad influence. Lol
Mike knows what it's about
Looks like a good time was had by all. I hope to make it there one of the times. Stay safe.
Would be good to see you there in October.
👍 On the music and fire 🔥 pit
Looked like a blast
It was!
Great watch 👍.. like the banter ,the bodge it bike repairs and great atmosphere 👊
This was the best campout hands down.
Great video Tramp, hope to ride your way someday.
That was a really awesome video! Definitely one of my favorites of the camp-out, just the way you captured it and the filming and loved that song at the end, very cool vibes! I really wish I could've been there, looked like a fantastic time! Ride safe brother and glad you got to take the Shovelhead out for a ride!
Thanks for watching, man. Glad you can dig it.
Thanks man!
Thanks man!
Hey Corey, glad to see your feeling better. The shovel is the right choice. The missus’ bike sounds great. Y’all take care.
Thanks, man!
Back in the 70's we called them shagging wagons
I hear them being called stabbin wagons too.
FYI Corey just take 3 lengths of 2x4s and screw them to the floor of the trailer. One on each side of the front tire and the third one across the front. Two straps angled to the front on the forks, leave room for travel on the forks (couple inches) and two straps angled to the back on the rear of the bike. Do a check at 50 miles of the bike including the trailer bearings. If it's all good you should be able to go cross country with this rig. You'll be happy with that pointless setup on the sporty, make sure you use the lower ohm coil. Later bro.
That sucks about your ignition system and the dent, the van is set-up nice.
Awesome van set up and carrying a great bike in tow. I felt you pain when your bike did a tip a dented the tank, all I can suggest is perhaps picking up a wheel chock and installing it on the trailer for future venturers and safe of mind.
That's in the works
Enjoyed the trip, I had the same Ford van, mine was a 1980, conversion. 300 six with a 4 speed, loved that van.
Rockin, man! Right on.
Hope you guys are out of harm's way from the damage from the tornadoes buddy,My prayers for all those folks.Maybe I'll see you in Oct. at F.A. I just moved from Ohio to Ormond Beach and am still getting settled even though its been 4 Months ! lol take care Corey.
We're good here. Most of that took place north of us.
Hey Corey, Nice video, as usual! Say...I am looking forward to a video in the near future you riding with the missus , you guys both on your (Corey: one of your) own bikes... I mean come on, you guys have got an entire stable with thoroughbred Harley Davidson Motorcycles....Let's go feed those horses ;-)
Will do
Ohh yess! Thats the ticket! The tug o war with the bike, love it, looks like a hootenanny.
It's a good time every time!
Cory, that Shovelhead is laying down in the trailer because it's felling spoiled getting to ride all the way to Florida!!! LOL
I guess so. Lol
Hey Corey good to see you moving better, love your videos, still 2 ft of snow here in north Alberta, nice to see someone riding, lol👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love the van
Always great seeing you buddy!
Likewise!
You're back! No pun intended, sorta.
😂
Watching your channel is like time travel, back to when people had a garage full of Harleys so that maybe one would be running at any given time. I like riding too much to go on a 2-hour ride and have no idea if I’m going to bake it back or not. If that’s your thing, more power to you.
Wow. You're van and bike's are awesome. Safe riding and travels.
Thank you!
Great acoustic song .... 🎸🎤🏍
Far-out. Just loaded my van for Fandango. I'm heading put tomorrow to help setup and do the filming for their social media outlets. Holler if you're still gonna try and make it.
Thanks for so wonderful video Tramp!
Your welcome! Thanks!
I am planning to take a across country ride here in a lil while, don't really know if I want to take the Ultra Limited or the Sportster 1200 Custom. I was planning on taking the back roads anyway no matter which bike I take. I done a CC back in 21 on a Suzuki Boulevard M90, let me tell ya that killed my back. I watched the vid of Josh making the trip across country on the ol shovelhead. I really enjoyed this version of the camp out.
I met Mike Bodeen in sturgis and rode with him. That’s wild that I saw him in this video.
Small world!
@@SaddleTrampTV he rode with me and Scooter Tramp Scotty it was a good time
You are a great person with a lot of patience I have a lot to learn from you, I would love to meet you sometime
Thank you, Frankie.
The Van is the easiest "Tent on Wheels" there is, Nice video of the events and Bikers !
I agree! Expensive though.
Next time , place an old car tyre (front & rear) under the bikes two tyres - then tie the beast down.
Bike wont move.
Great video ...Plus bonus with the dude singing (20min mark)
Good idea!
Cool video man. Love that van too
Thanks 👍
Nice :D
Also happy belated birthday to her, mine's coming up next month :P
Oh nice David Mann print on the wall
Thanks’ 😊
Groovy van man!
Another great video 👍👍
Great video Tramp
