Clean badass bike my first bike was a 1972 Harley Davidson 900 Sportster Chopper 7ft Springer front end my grandpa built he passed it down to me at age 16 age 18 he passed his 83 1200 Sportster 25th anniversary to me age 24 I got my first sports bike Suzuki gsx600f
I found this channel about a month ago because it was recommended from the guy I traded my dirt bike for a shadow bobber for. So this page made me want a Honda shadow bobber and now I want a old Harley shovel head 😂 I’m going to end up broke watching this channel, good shit guys haha
Yo LNSPLTBLVD, Sic Build. You young guys who can put your ankles behind your ears with those high mount pegs.😂 Luv the Tank👍😎 You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up.
That frame looks like a D&D (later Jammer). For the most part, Paughco went with a single solid plate behind the steering head on their frames. The axle plates are similar on Jammer and Paugcho rigid frames. Right off, I recognized the wheels were from RC Components. I had a pal who ran those same wheels on a build. Going with a 5 speed takes a lot of work, but that extra cog is nice on the highway. Your Shovel is such a clean build! What a great road bike! You went that extra mile to work out the viscosity of the fork oil! Most guys never sweat that! Race Tech knows their stuff! That paint is choice! Great fit and finish all around! After watching this video, I miss my old Shovel even more. Ha! Ride safe.
Great catch! Now that I recall there was a crinkled up D&D sticker on the neck of the frame when I picked it up. I was told the company later rebranded as Paughco. After doing some research now it seems you were also right about D&D becoming Jammer! Thanks for the clarification. I guess I do have a jammer frame after all.
@@YeezusPieces That's right, Yee. With that frame, you have a piece of chopper "history." D&D (Jammer) used gusseting on from the steering head, along the backbone tube and somewhat on the down tubes. Some of my pals used those D&D (Jammer) frames back in the early 1970s, when original H-D rigid frames were become scarce. D&D (Jammer) also built some very solid springers. All were narrow with twisted front rails. Early issues of "Easyriders" magazine featured a lot of choppers running D&D springers. Columbus Enterprises, Fury and Paughco made springers back then too. We ran girders from Smith Bros and Fetrow, Durfee, P&P, and John Harmon. All of those forks worked great, and they were a departure from glides and springers. I ran with some cats who owned 2 chopper shops back in the late 1960s/early 1970s. All of those guys are gone now. I'm the last choppahhead standing. That's life, man. Enjoy every turn of a wrench. Enjoy every ride. I wish I was young again like you and the rest of your crew. Build right. Ride safe. -- W
He didn't go the easy route, got to give him props for the dedication. Time well spent I think he'll appreciate himself doing it for a long time. Balls for the colour choice too (cop-out excuse wifes favourite colour, lol) but it looks fkn dope. I like it a lot. Even the plate, I bet SHOVELN gets a heap of people jealous. BigUps Yee, sick man
Been wanting one of the prism petcocks but I can't stomach $125 when you can get a regular on/off valve for $20 lol someday... the only prism part I own is the Bristol Breather carb cover and the quality is insane and they know how to make a good looking part! Man this shovel has so many tricks and cool shit done to it, through and through a clean custom chopper forsure!
I like everything about this bike. I love the entire front end set up. The handlebars and clutch lever look amazing. The paint is dope af... Love the wheels... Great job
I've always admired the bobbers/choppers, my first road legal bike was a bobber 84 cm250 rebel, i really want to bobber my current bike but haven't had the time or money to do so yet.
Nice clean bike.....good job on the build......right up to those mid controls....damn.....my knees would be above my ears with those....at 6' 6" and 220 lbs I have always run forward controls on my chops....but hey. more power to the short peeps!
Man, I'm a local in sj and have always wanted to build my own chopper but shit is intimidating to new riders. These build videos help a ton to see what I should be looking for to start out with.
Just do it, when you begin looking you will know when you find your right parts because they speak to you from frame to wheels to engine and handle bare etc etc that’s the beauty of it! It’s something you like and figure out how to make it work just get started you will change stuff as you go and learn it will become uniquely “you” Good luck friend and enjoy!!!!!!
great first chopper, love the welded bars the internal throttle was worth it looks super lean n clean, original badass wheels n im not a mag lool fan but they rock 🔥🔥
Nice build, the ride position looks uncomfortable though, my knees would be killing me, lol. Looks like the new project has a kicker, cool. I'm a shovel and earlier fan myself.
Ticked the like button before I even watched the vid. You just know LSPLTBLVD is gonna be quality.

Good looking Shovelhead Chopper! Nice color too.!
Great bike. Color's kinda like my gone '72 Triumph Trident. Used to have Easter eggs dyed that color as a kid so it's imprinted. Love it!
Beautiful chopper 😍 TY for sharing 👌 Be Safe ❤🙏
Makes me want to ride so much. Just had surgery and it's going to be a few weeks. Beautiful is to shallow of a word to describe.

I rode choppers before they were cool , 1981 ! Senior in Highschool !
Choppers were around since 1945. Check out the cool biker movies of the 1960's. Some had real Hells Angels in them.
this is chanel, Favourite, greetings from Indonesia 🤘
I will be in Bali in a few weeks. Any good motorcycle shops/places you recommend in the area?
i am feeling inspired asf rn

Coincidentally Kamela can do that too....without a bike.

The entire interview talking about the equipment in the garage and not one mention about the top end MC655R lift, best lift on the market IMHO, Kudos
You’re absolutely right lol. Sometimes we forget the things that’s right in front of our eyes
Probably my best Craigslist find to date. Was acquired from a guy who built Honda groms on it.
