    A tip for flattening cardstock or water color paper is to run it through a laminator or foil machine (before you emboss).

      Thank you! I don’t have a laminating machine or foil machine ( other than my glimmer machine) to try it on but that’s a great tip💕

    Great video! I've used the bubbles to make random background papers, but not to intentionally use for a water themed card. I definitely will be trying this soon because it is so appropriate for this use. And I love all the extra details, including the glossy accents! ❤❤👍👍

      It’s definitely perfect for water themed projects! It’s one my mom did many many years ago with her daycare kids that I had totally forgotten about! 💕

      @@ArtsyIslandGirl Sometimes I want to craft but no ideas come to mind. That's when I do backgrounds - just to be able to play... bubbles, shaving cream, smooshing, etc. We're all kids at heart! 😊

      @JH-wd7ul love it! It’s a great way to get creative with no end goal. Sometimes the best ideas come from just playing💕

    What I the secret to this effect. I am not getting the "bubble" look...what is the recipe?

    • @ArtsyIslandGirl
      @ArtsyIslandGirl  6 місяців тому +1

      I didn’t have a recipe. I have a dish with water that I put a squirt of dish soap in and added distress re-inker and then blew the bubbles
