When arranging embellishments on clear acrylic blocks I add a block on top and flip the sandwich over so the bottom layers are on top. EASY to get everything into place!
Excellent idea! I’ve also heard of using press n seal on top and then flipping it over and adding glue to everything and attaching at once. I usually like tweaking and adjusting things as I go😊

I’ve never used distress glaze without using the coloured base first. Thanks for this great idea. These are all very useful techniques. You are very creative and talented plus all your guidance is superb.

an idea regarding the mixed containers of powder... what if you kept a picture of the card you made using them right near the powder so it might inspire you to use them again?
I'm in love w card #4 ! W O W !! So pretty. I DON'T UNDERSTAND how u were using the gold foil😮. I didn't see it once the card was done. Can u help here please.
I didn’t use gold foil, I used Foundry wax (which was a liquid that looked gold in a small bottle) on the embossed background as well as plain piece of cardstock to die cut for the frame on the surface. The only other thing that may have looked like gold foil was the silver mirror cardstock that I used for a mat. I don’t think there was anything else that looked like gold foil. If there was something I missed lmk so I can answer more, this video was created 6 weeks ago or so and there’s been a lot happening in my life so I don’t remember if there was anything else.
Hi. I absolutely love the pink with the 3D flowers, and I'm usually not a pink person... But it was just SO pretty! Beautiful other cards too. I have not touched my Sizzix in about 4 years and I don't have any of these fance 3D embossing folders. I never used die cuts because where i live you only get the really boring ones and they are super expensive. Such a pity. TFS. Great video ❤

No, it’s a Spellbinders Platinum 6 but it will also work in a big shot. I find when using spellbinders 3 D folders I need to use a couple pieces of cardstock under the bottom plate to tighten the sandwich 😊

Fabulous cards. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I love the tip about laying out the flower design on the block. I always use a large block on my glued pieces but love the I can use it for an extra purpose. 💜💜💜
I use a 2 pound bag of rice as a weight when gluing. It conforms to all sizes and thicknesses of embellishments.

Question. Can you use just any mica powder?
Only if you add a binding agent like gum Arabic. Without a binding agent or adhesive to glue it down, it would just rub off.
I can’t tell what kind of gold wax you use - foundery wax?
Yes, it is called foundry wax and the colour I used here is called statue. There’s a link to it in the supply list in the description under card 1😊

Yes I do, it’s not hard to do. I just use one of the finer tips that come with the Bearly art glue😊
