I just did my water change and it's not time to change the filter yet. On a 65 gallon freshwater tank with 7 different types of plants and some nicely stocked fish and a thick wood, and there has been no bad bacheria, or bad levels in the water. It's just completely green after a few days. I even left the light off. Even though it's a fluval aquarium pro and has control over it automatically for optimized light.
I’m having this issue right now and it’s really bad. I can’t clear it at all! I know you said it’s the filtration? But I feel like I have tried this as well and it’s so green I can’t see my fish. PLEASE HELP if you can thank you
Im going through this rn. I have been through many times with many tanks. My advice is to let it be. Do less, feed less, less light. Let nature do it's job.
I have had my tank for years. I had an algae bloom soon after changing the air pump. I have not been able to fix it no matter how many or how much of a water change I did. I am going to turn up and see if that fixes the problem.
The solution is NEVER TO USE GRAVEL...use sand - 2-4 inches of it...lessen your feeding...add live plants...period. TRUST ME if you don't, go and ask a biologist.
3:10 the solution was higher filtration
Yes, exactly! Thanks for the comment.

Correct answer! I totally agree!…a self-sustaining ecosystem in your aquarium is your BEST solution. It works on my aquarium! Wish you the best!!☺️
I have sand and I have such a bad algae bloom what is a suggestion I can do?
That's bs
@kimberlyguaman3330 first not to listen to morons in UA-cam comments 😅
I disagree I've been on years never had a bloom now I do and don't do anything different
