Amazing simple and informative. It would be even better if you add a photo comparison between the flash and the white board so we can see the difference even if there is a slight difference. Appreciate your efforts 😊
I was wondering what mind of stand do you use? I got a cheapish light set up for my first lights and I'm not sure I trust my lights to point down overheadq😅
Honestly, I have used to many light stands over the years, and it does seem the more you pay for them, the better they are. The most recent ones I bought are from amazon and are air cushoned. Try and find some that have wider legs, and then point your light down over one of the legs, so it counters the weight, I hope that makes sense!
I don't want to lie, im actually not sure, Ive never really used one, id assume its whenever you don't want the light to spill out onto the entire scene or background, so you would use a grid to direct the light
