jim breuer and brendan schaub and joe rogan are comedians who are super funny and hilarious and not cringe. loud equals funny and the jokes are very good and cool. hahahahahaha thats me laughing at the stand up jokes right now. stand up comedy is cool and not cringey or cringe when it is good and the jokes are good - Комедії

Jim Breuer's stand up is like watching the most hyperactive 3rd grader reenacting family guy cutaway gags
He reminds me of Andy Bernard from the Office
@@TwoCamel and in not in a good way
except the 3rd grader would be funny because its young child wheras this is what looks like a 65 year old man
Nice pfp Willam Bonney was super underrated
@@TwoCamel The worst aspects of his character charged up to a 10 and those characteristics alone, without any of the good ones. Andy wasn't even close to being this bad, and you're doing ed helms dirty af by lumping his actual knowledge of good comedic timing with this grown male with the mind, and personality of a 9 year old boy with adhd who just found out what a cuss word is.
Amazing that Jim Breuer can make a whole comedy special without making any jokes.
He had one good joke. At the very end, after the standing ovation he said
“All the media is your enemy.
Use your mind, your common sense
Love, spirituality, and laughter for all
Turn it off so we can heal our minds and souls. Goodnight.”
I almost dies from laugher because he just spent the entire special doing the exact opposite.
You probably still wear a mask to this day and fear bogeyman19
its amazing to me that hes held in high regard in the rock and metal community because he opened for metallica. metallica are my favorite band. he isnt funny and should not have opened for them, and im also 99% sure he got the slot because of his mediocre impressions of the members of the band.
but no, the rock and metal world supports him because he make the funni face and do funni voice aha.
i havent watched the full video yet so apologies if this topic was discussed and im just retreading on the topic.
He got paid to do that when I do that for free
He built an entire career on ONE decent joke: the "AC/DC doing the Hokey Pokey" bit. Before that, he was just that goat dude on SNL during one of their low points. He's been riding that the whole time.
I swear when Jim Breuer starts his "physical comedy" It legit triggers a fight or flight mode in me meanwhile also making me groan in confusion at the same time.
It's because you are a child and were not there for the heydaze. You're not going to appreciate it
I saw Jim Breuer live at the Gator Growl (huge pep rally before Florida Gators football homecoming game). He was the headliner. He bombed so hard. We were booing him halfway through his set. Clearly he didn’t consider that doing finger puppet jokes done on his barstool would not play well to a crowd half a stadium away. It was the worst live performance I’ve ever seen. And I saw LMFAO live.
The guy is trying to imitate Bill Burr sooooo hard its sad.
Lol, he was a successful comic before bill burr even started

The great thing about Jim is that he fully commits. I mean think about it. What other comedian would have the guts to tell three jokes and spend thirty minutes on each one.
Stewart Lee can tell one joke in an hour, and it's marvellous
Norm MacDonald could have spent an hour telling a joke that had no punchline and it could've been the best thing ever.

First guy is what happens when you laugh at the class clown, and they decide to make that their whole personality
That is his role in all of the movies he's played in. Why would he be a different person on stage?
There is NO WAY the audience was actually laughing that hard and that consistently throughout Breuer's set.
Maybe the special was in FL or TX. Would make more sense how people are actually laughing at this overgrown, sugar-hyped up 9 year old.
Drunk old people.
I think it was some layered, repeating tracks tbh. Otherwise there was 1 woman in the crowd who laughed like a goddamned angry goose in the exact same way literally every second line. Which, in fairness, isn't entirely impossible & in a weird way holds true to the stereotype of people who'd enjoy that "comedy special."
There was probably a couple of people laughing and they just looped and layered their laughter over and over when they posted the special so he looks good
@@infinitedragonbellyx.xas a Texan, I don't appreciate such slander. We laugh at Gabriel Iglesias. Not this white wrinkly tampon
the most unbelievable part of the first one is the laughter from the audience. i simply refuse to believe a whole crowd laughed that hard at this man, it must have been editing 🤧
They never cut to the audience so I'm convinced they added laugh tracks in post
If it's real it's gotta be less than half of the room. I could believe it if it's like two rows of very Loud people making up for the other 50+ bastards who got the ticket for cheap cause nobody actually likes this guy
I watched the youtube video and there are a lot of positive comments, makes me despair
If you can’t discern a laugh track then you are probably too ironic to be talking about it
You poor thing. 🤣
jims comedy reminds me of a kindergartnener whose only idea of comedy is stuff that makes their parents laugh mostly cuz they find it cute that a kid is attempting to be funny but then the kid goes to a family event and does this and everyone is uncomfortable and the parents dont get invited back
That’s is. So. Accurate. Omg.
That’s so oddly specific? And yet also completely correct?????
Honestly his laugh sounds like a kid who thinks he's the best class clown and killing it.
The sad part is, he used to be funny on SNL. Not the funniest, but not awful... Like this new weird right-wing save America schtick.
But sadly this guy lives in a neighborhood where there are grown-ups that actually think that's funny and enable his bullshit.
Other than this your analogy is flawless
My favourite part of the Jim Breuer special is the opening shot of the marquee showing tickets are still available.
I lost my grandmother right at the beginning of the pandemic, so I definitely enjoyed and thought his "jokes" about keeping the elderly in the basement and "the grandma killer" were cool and very funny.
I am really sorry for your loss. Stuff like his and all the people who spew it have no idea how awful it is to hear for those of us who actually lost a loved one. They lack empathy and awareness. And compassion. I hope they will come around one day.
@Beannin thank you for your words. I don't know if they can come around because their politics override their empathy. Many of these people likely lost a relative as well, but they value their personal freedom to do whatever they want, like go out without a mask, above the lives of others. That's how they can they can turn "grandma please stay at home so you don't get sick cos you might die" into a cruel joke like that.
Dude I know life sucks and that’s incredibly sad but this happens in comedy, some people like edgy jokes, some people like clean jokes, some people joke about horrible things and everyone laughs bc it’s a way of coping and making light of very horrible things for a few seconds and forgetting that they’re real. I think Jim did a horrible job and isn’t funny but I’m just saying in general this happens.
@-Mintyy wtf are you talking about. This wasn't any of those types of jokes, this was just his legitimate opinion, conservatives were convinced that their freedom to go out without a mask supercedes the value of the lives of the elderly. That is what the "joke" was about, and that's why it wasn't funny, because it wasn't actually a joke, just his real, serious opinion said in a silly voice so as to mock the people who don't think like him. It's not coping, it's just an asshole who has complete disregard for the lives of others. What a bizarre fucking response.

as someone who's autistic, breuer's comedy really reminds me of how people would make fun of me/other people with disabilities when i was younger. the exaggerated faces, loud noises, and flapping arms just give me flashbacks to my middle school classroom.
oh my gosh exactly
yes!!!!!!!!
That was the bad taste in my mouth, ableism.
I'll never understand the repeated jokes to downplay people's life experiences over poking fun at the people in power who practically write the jokes themselves sometimes
I wouldn't be surprised if that's where he started doing it

I know im a year late but the jim breuer special was filmed in my hometown so hearing the audience laughing is even worse for me
I live in a small town in the Midwest and I know they would've been eating that shit up, too 😭
It’s crazy that an out of context UA-cam video is funnier than the entirety of Jim Brewer’s special
jims comedy is totally just "omg theyre laughing at my joke let me continue it" and then the cycle continues
You can also hear how the audience dies out more and more until it's almost quiet.
That’s how most people utilize comedy. Under the age of 12.
I feel... attacked
Michael Scott vibes
Can’t believe he was once a writer on SNL, and in Half Baked with Dave Chapelle, how times change fr.
I genuinely don't understand how Jim got through 5 minutes of his material without being heckled lol
Can't be heckled if the audience is full of boomer band wagoners who are only there because Jim is "anti woke and anti mask"
with how loudly he was screaming i doubt he would have heard it if he had been heckled
Went to Alabama.
Because he wasn't in a comedy club, it was a special and everyone there bought tickets to see him. It was his demographic. That demographic being older white people with an outdated and cringe taste in comedy.
I would like to believe he’s in an empty stadium with sound pumped in
That whole "comedy" special is literally just the equivalent of jingling your car keys in front of 100 toddlers.
This is a good comment
“like a fly to dogshit” Gabi, thank you for blessing us with your poetic talents

I most definitely 100% believe that audience laughter was added in because there was zero comedy on that special.
I'm old enough that I can assure you Jim Bruer isn't a case of "aging poorly", he started out this bad.
Yup, same. He was never funny. Most boring SNL cast member of all time

Jim Breuer makes comedy for people who peaked in middle school
That Jim Breuer special succeeded in making me want to rip out my eardrums, is that what he was going for? 😂
My Jim Breuer story:
So in 2019, Jim opened for Metallica. His set was really funny, and largely inoffensive and apolitical. About 75 percent of his jokes were about being a metal head.
I fortunately scored tickets in the pit, and about halfway through Metallica's show, he came out and moshed with us. He high-fived me and walked away. Genuinely seemed like a pretty nice dude.
I read somewhere that his wife has been battling terminal cancer, so combine that with COVID, and I think his mind just broke. This doesn't seem like the guy I kinda sorta had an interaction with. Dunno if this humanizes him a little bit, but I would like to think that COVID messed him up.
I’ve watched his comedy quite a bit and I think you’re right. I think we can say that about a lot of covid conspirators though. I have many people in my life who I love, but don’t agree with on covid at all.
Yeah some people double down on the covid conspiracy theories after a tragedy that covid was responsible for, I've seen many people go that route. My brother might not ever have his taste or sense of smell back but his ignorant wife thinks it's the vaccines fault, not that it wore off and he never got another one or anything. Meanwhile I have been consistently getting mine and never even had a sniffle while being in direct contact with several people that actively had it.
"I think his mind just broke"
That's the only possible way someone can have an opinion that isn't yours, right? Y'all are fucking sad.
also hes had a difficult relationship with his parents towards the end of their lives...the guy has been through a lot recently
I know, i used to love his appearance on Howard stern show back in the early 2000s but this special sucks
It sounded like there was so much nervous laughter in the theater, I can’t imagine a full audience of adults actually thought that constant stream of fart noises and funny faces was that great
He was on SNL in the past and is friends with Dave Chapelle. He definitely has a boomer audience who actually enjoys him for whatever reason lol
I'm very sure that's fake laughter. Some of these* voices are repeating like 1 loud lady and a deep voiced man.
I wish my life experience led me to believe this

its not awful
No one told Jim that “I took too much cocaine” comedy stopped being funny about two decades ago

Nick Mullen would disagree with you. That man lives off cocaine and he’s the funniest comedian ever.
@@jinglebearr I suppose I agree with that, but I don’t get “this man is holding me hostage in a conversation where he’s the only one talking” vibes. “I’m on cocaine” is bit different than “I’m off the rails and it’s a bit hard to watch” 😭😂

I'm not sure what "tapped into boomer mind" references.

You are familiar with 'United we stand, divided we fall'?
Our "representatives", the media, corporate ghouls, the insurance industry want 200 million Americans to fight each other, not together.

I reckon Andrews Schultz nails this... he has a way of making racial jokes, to his wildly diverse audience, and have them laughing down the aisles... I always figured it was because he's a New York boy and was raised in the melting pot, so it never feels like he's punching down.

You can definitely tell, we stan a confident queen
I just recently discovered you.
Subbed that day.
I ❤ you Gabi. Your singing that six foot "showtune" was wonderful.
I run a comedy club. Jim headlined for me one weekend last summer. Easily the worst hour and a half of "stand-up" I think I've ever wasted time promoting. All three nights were sold out, which was fantastic... but nearly half of every room settled up early and were anxious to leave by the shows end. I used to idolize him and thought he was one of the greats...guess 'never meet your heroes' remains undefeated
How the hell did you idolize Jim Breuer? One of "the greats?" He's only ever been a tiny step above a movie extra... What did you see in him that I never got from his subpar role in Half Baked?
@@Matt-sl1wg If you weren't paying attention to the comedy scene in the early 90s, there's really no retelling of events that would help you understand. Jim, at one point, was one of the funniest strandups in the country. His early specials were absolute dynamite. Not everyone got their feet wet with Dave Chappelle and Mitch Hedberg...there are a lot of comics out there
@@specialneedspanda that's just it. I *was* paying attention to comedy in the 90s. I've literally never heard of the guy beyond recognizing his face as "that guy" from half baked. Now, I haven't been running a comedy club for 20 years so you would obviously have more knowledge than me as a casual fan of stand up, which is why I was asking you what I missed.
@@Matt-sl1wg his tenure at SNL, being one of their writers for over a decade, and as I said, his standup specials over the years have been amazing. I'm sorry you have no reference for him outside of being a secondary character in a movie. thought these days its all for nothing anyway. even if he had been memorable for you, he's obviously tarnished that enough by now where nobody respects him
something about cis straight white men in comedy seems to give them a short shelf life.. it’s like they can be good in the beginning because they are normal not rich people but once they make money they lose touch with the real people and become incredibly un relatable.
Jim Breuer makes me so genuinely uncomfortable. Like he makes me feel like I'm standing off to the sidelines in third grade again, watching all of the bullies make fun of the one special needs kid that we have and then when I try and step in making fun of me too. I hate it.
Why did the Aunt Linda song give me Actual Goosebumps 😂 Your singing is amazing 🤯
Someone should upload "Jim Breuer, but only the unintelligible parts" and then just upload the whole special uncut.
7 minutes in and I already don't know if I can continue watching.
Tbh it's impressive that Jim can do that for an hour straight and doesn't just pass out.
He's giving the same vibes I did when I was stuck at family gatherings with my undiagnosed and untreated Autism ADHD and social anxiety. Just peak energy desperately trying to make enough noise to force-shutdown my brain until the socialization quota was met and I could leave
it’s the cocaine
@@mellow_mallowI totally understand that and get what your saying
420 lol
Undiagnosed? If you have not seen specialists then you should not self diagnose yourself with multiple conditions. See a doctor, it is in your mental health's best interest. Especially if you do not actually have them.
Just watching you blankly stare Jim’s bits got more laughs out of me than his entire special
That was the only time I laughed
I would rather watch my dog get put down on an endless loop for an hour than watch anything by Brendan Shaub.
Old person here (40s * gasp! *). Jim Bruer was a lukewarm cast member of SNL, best known for looking and kinda acting perpetually high and playing Goat Boy, which was stupid as hell.
Damn, 40? How was it hanging out with a triceratops?
"The bit just goes on too long"
> "what's the ideal length"
"zero seconds"
a nice touch to Jim’s special is the audio being so bad that it sounds like it was recorded by a cell phone in someone’s pocket 43 rows back
Omg it’s Chris James
Oye its Chris 😬🤗
that’s literally for copyright reasons...like you can’t just repost that audio as-is
you did not need to go so hard with the signing bit, and yet im so glad you did. That was great.
i warched shane gillis' comedy special on netflix. dude was actually funny and i didnt feel like i wasted my time.
It’s so frustrating that any unfunny hack can say they’re gonna get “canceled” or that “the wokes” hate them and get a comedy special out of it.
When in reality, they aren't being canceled, they're not being boycotted and considered a complete monster, they're just losing relevance, and they're having a midlife crisis. Calling others too sensitive, while in the same breath being so sensitive about people not finding their boring jokes funny anymore that they're becoming paranoid of being abducted and executed by transgender people or some other marginalized group who simply want to be left alone in peace. "Oh, yeah, everyone will think *this* is offensive!" Roe Jogan snarles. (Says something generic about covid 19 or political correctness that everyone has already heard at least several dozen times from co workers, family members, acquaintances, etc. in just that day alone) "I'm being canceled," is the new, "Eevvveryone's a critic!"
Well what comedian is your racist uncle going to watch if those bums don’t get specials.
Ik, half of their comedy special is just them saying how offensive their jokes are gonna be
@@carterc4307 and it's not even offensive. there's tumblr post more politically incorrect and offensive than these funeral directors.
I consider myself a legitimately unfunny person, I have no experience doing any kind of standup, and I am dead certain I could make a better standup special than Jim Breuer
Lol wow Jeremy thats funny you should do a stand up special
@That Nerdy girl Tarini dude I'm so sorry but I half expected you to say "and hes dead" like my brain just expected a punchline
This comment was funnier than the stand up
I like the people that tell stories then after/during make jokes of it.
Jim Breuer looks like he likes to say "Where my hug at?" js saying :>
You can't really appreciate how terrible Shaub's "comedy" is until you look up his actual real world wife, who speaks flawless English, has hard mild-mannered housewife energy, and was raised in California
If you think that’s bad then go see his impression of the Chinese UFC doctor who treated him… then watch a video of the actual doctor
@@JamTaylor69 i was disgusted by that one.shaub is one of those racist that think what he's doing isn't racist.
@@JamTaylor69 that was theoretically worse except that he literally is married to his wife and has to face her after that depiction... But then again, what's one terrible act against another?
Not defending Schaub as he is terrible at life and comedy. But, you have to understand that comedy is not real. There is a tiny % of comedians who are telling real stories, the rest which is most comedians are telling stories. Sometimes real stories that are heavily edited to make em funnier or fully made up stories.
@@LeDardeursPalace I agree, certainly, and if it was simply an exaggeration I'd not see it as bad- but in both cases, the joke is literally "foreigner funny". It's not really an exaggeration, more like taking real people and then making a racist caricature out of them, independent of their real world actions. And of course the death knell is that neither case is actually funny.
I love you Gabi but respectfully I also hate you. I just got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and it hurts so much to laugh and I was sitting here watching your video with tears in my eyes trying to stop laughing. Never before has a UA-cam video caused me so much physical pain 😭
Gabi Belle strikes again

11:38 why’s shorty actually soo good 😂
Great video! You have a beautiful singing voice btw.
you can’t tell me the laughter wasn’t a laugh track for Jim’s set
I had the same thought! Too many of the laughs sounded the exact same.
It was real laughter at the right-wing Reawaken America Tour. He DOES actually believe this stuff and so does his audience. Tell-tale Atheist on UA-cam called him out for expressing Q-Anon ideals and Jim actually got really defensive and delivered a response to Owen who hosts the channel. He's deep down the rabbit hole on this conspiracy and he shared the stage with dangerous right-wing fascists.
@@jeremygreen2883 horrifying! I thought the worst thing about him was the terrible noises, turns out it’s so much worse
Nah his laughs were real pretty sure Brendan's was laugh tracks tho
Yeah I find it hard to believe anyone would howl with laughter at anything he said or did
Some guy, some unlucky fool, had to sit at a desk for hours and edit Jim Breuer’s entire stand up gig into a cohesive one hour, 6 minutes, and 35 seconds comedy special for him to upload on UA-cam.
I hope that individual is getting the therapy they deserve, and takes a nice long vacation.
As someone who’s done a lot of editing, I wouldn’t be able to handle it. I might just have gone into depression lol.
If that guy felt so unlucky editing it, he probably did needed therapy as the spineless millennial he is by being offended with a comedian who he was "forced" to edit it. But the money was so good though.
What the F are you even trying to say here?? Cloutchasing?
