i just remember mgk is the guy who tried to say he'd sleep with kylie jenner when she was a minor and made attempts to justify it tbh. Dudes a cornball and frankly it doesn't surprise me that he's made a terrible movie. Making a movie is hard, and writing a script is a task unto itself. Props for actually getting a movie together but it's just a shame that it had to be a lame one. At least we have something to laugh at .

You aren’t wrong Gabi look at how dumb the plots to the movies Half Baked, How High, Every Harold & Kumar Movie, and Pineapple Express were but since they all were executed perfectly they have all become Cult Classics.
You are absolutely right about it being a long UA-cam skit. It reminds me of the early to mid 2010's when all the "Comedy" channels started getting HD camera's and decent production money, but the actual writing and acting was still 2-3 steps behind.
To me, the ending feels like he told all his friends he was making a movie and hired them but then realized after it was written that it fucking sucked and tried to save face by calling the whole thing a joke.

they act like the movie was filmed in 80s where communicating with someone who's just one drive away is difficult. we don't even miss people now with how much ways of communicating we currently have and they act in this movie like finding ways to talk to someone is so hard.
It makes me sad that Megan Fox has said how much she liked the roll she played in Jennifer’s body due to the fact that it wasn’t her just being there for fan service, like everything else she’s been in, and now here she is, being used for fan service again. But by her boyfriend this time.
I really hope that it’s either just coming off that way from the clips I’ve seen, or that she was the one who made the choices and had the creative freedom to dress and pose the way MGK has her doing so in this movie.
I’m all for her using her body to make money off thirsty people, I’ll gladly be one of those people 🤤😂 I just hope that’s the case, and not her being cast typed again but by her partner this time.

I went to a Bowling For Soup concert ages ago and I have never seen such a diverse crowd of fans in my life. Grannies, babies, dads. The more I think about it, it might have been a family reunion. They did the Phineas and Ferb theme song, so it was great!

Here are my headcannons:
1. All of the main characters live in a content house, which is why they filmed in rice gums house to add to the authenticity. That’s why they all live together and why the whole thing feels like a UA-cam skit from 2016.
2. There is not an MGK in this universe, since the mgk music is non diagetic and does not take place within the reality of the film. Since the film also has narration from the main character that exists outside of the reality of the movie, then the mgk music from the soundtrack is also from London’s brain like the voice over. So there is no mgk in this universe, but the mgk self insert has written and mentally plays mgk songs.

He has a few stand alone episodes too.
Its all about the script and directing. Academy award actors would look like crap in this.

@@beautyandtheoffbeats None of them or at least the people you listed got paid a lot. Avril is engaged to Modson who directed this movie. Trippie has been on 2 of his last 3 albums and YG is just friends with them. This was a low-budget film and they used their own cars. The G body that is wrapped is Mod Son's.

Like everything actors take on has to be this work of art, this looks like just a throwaway fun thing they did which took them a day or two but people are acting like this will stain their career or something, it’s not that deep.
