I’m making a decision now to snap out of it. I’ve spent the last three years not actually knowing what my purpose is and honestly I’m done being depressed and having the situation with our world encourage my “stress”. Almost like I have an excuse to be depressed because our current situation is so difficult. This has aged me a lot and I’m actively making a decision to snap out of it, just deciding to taking full responsibility. Thank you guys 🙏🏾

I agree with you guys ...The quickest way to learn who you are is to learn who you are not !!!!I tried drinking alcohol last year at the age of 27 because I thought why not ...it didn’t work ..I would really not enjoy it ..I would ask myself why am I not enjoying it cos everyone else is and I would not even sbwl it ..I sat down with myself one day and I was like it’s just not who you are and you need to make peace with it !!!!But that doesn’t make me a better person than the next person ❤️

I love Mpoomy's mom's advice about how our job is to become more of ourselves. This is so true. I can relate to your story Mpoomy, I left my career as a Scientist to pursue my passion back in 2019. (I remember going to work in the morning, looking forward to going to the gym afterward) It was not easy, but through this journey, I now trust God more than ever before, and I'm completely at peace. I'm realizing it right now when I've left my career to find my peace in the little things that bring me soo much joy. Just like Mpumi... I'm glad I realised it now in my 20s.
