I was just talking about Jay and Will being very powerful to listen to and then BAM, UA-cam was like, "hey, watch this. Here they both are together". Magical!!
I love this interview so much. This shows an imperfect man that understands life. I understand everything that he says but because of the society that we live in, sometimes we go back because we are imperfect beings. Keep trying and keep learning. Never judge.
Read bhagwatgita once all your problem to life will be solve . It will guide you how to survive in this material world without any problem. must read bhagwatgita once .

Absolutely we all have our flaws & breaking points I can't agree anymore for sure"!!! Especially growing up in an abusive dysfunctional household." I can Definitely relate to Will not excusing his behavior however understanding his triggers. Now with that said we must master first what makes us calm & peaceful first I believe. Then from there when we find ourselves getting weak or when someone tries to get us out of our element or antagonize us. Well we again must go to that peaceful place immediately. Because so many times we can be our worst enemy not realizing that our thoughts can provocus even more than a negative human being." So again I stand with Will on him needing that comfort & clarity. He as many others need to heal as myself I Definitely need & Deserve to heal from past trauma"!! 💯🙏❤️✨😇
I get what Will is trying to teach everyone but the universe is neatural. You are co creating with the universe and are your own universe. Your subconsciousness is creating your reality and your soul just wants you to wake up. In other words the universe isn't trying to poke at anything.
This is super true, pain in there to show us we got it wrong somewhere, the same as pain in the body shows unhealthy physical behavior, pain in our should and mind is a reminder for us that maybe we should reflect on what we are doing!
I love Will's desire for continuous learning.. it's so insipiring. And he clearly has such great wisdom. I love it. Thanks to both of you for bringing this to us 🙏🏽
Jay I came here after watching your interview with Jada. I am glad I did. What a blessing to be connected to two persons of light and to Bes light yourself. I am inspired and encouraged to dream again because the pain is a signal of how much love there is and can be because love is beckoning me through the fire to get to joy. I pray that telling my story helps others heal as this and other podcasts you’ve hosted have done for me! I can’t wait for our sit down! Thanks and extend my deep gratitude to both Will and Jada
It’s taken me 32 years to get to where I am now. This conversation is confirmation for me on so many levels. Emotionally connecting to everything and allowing myself to feel feelings and not feel less of a man for doing so has been so liberating and life-changing.
Well stated. We all need to be well rounded to be real clear of our time on this earth living in real love and happiness taking the good and bad and making a choice. I love you for this man.
Jay: “The result of your activity is not under your control” Will: “You can do everything “right” and it still go wrong in terms of outcome and you can do everything wrong and it still goes “right” in the outcome. The outcome is not connected to the quality of your behavior”
@@ladybird491 not only so much parameters are at play everyday sometimes it's just bad luck, bad timing, outside things like illnesses, economic, social parameters, we have seen it first hand and for the past year everything can go downhill with nothing we can do about it.
We should control what we can and that's our intention and the hard work that we put into everything and not look for immediate result...unfortunately we learn to become very result oriented from a young age, that's why we loose hope so easily very often
I think this is the best interview of the entire podcast series. Will Smith, you have my eternal and deep admiration for the way that you have lived your life, and the legacy of joy, humility and respect for all that you will be leaving behind. Thank you for this fascinating insight into your mind and modus operandi. Blessings.
*There is no such thing as a "self-made" man. We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts, as well as our success.* Have a great day!
This was one good conversation. It's interesting the speed at which he expresses himself. The choice of words is very intentional, that's a person that's conscious about the strength of words and language. Sooo many lessons in here.
Damn, I just listened to this interview a few weeks before the Oscars... Despite what happened, this interview still has some great gems to learn from .

Thanks from the bottom of my heart for this amazing podcast. My parents named me Gita, my father was half Indian but we didn’t really have a relationship, so now I found a way to kind of reconnect to my father‘s mindset, by reading the Gita. This is for sure one of the most precious inspiration! Thank you for all the insight and understanding of life!

From beginning to end, I never saw Will fiddling about or just uttering away even for a second. He was into the moment for all of 1.43.46 moments. For an actor, and for a human, to be so clear about so many fundamentals of life.. Will is on the right path and with a right inheritance of thoughts. Namaste 🙏
I appreciate this interview so much. Will’s point to Make amends and put ego aside is 🔑. I just started reading the Gita again (received it when I was walking by the beach two weeks ago) and it’s amazing how the first chapter talks about exactly what’s happening now. 🕯🕯🕯🕯Hare Krishna 💌✨
What we should all take from this is he is an imperfect person. Working on himself. It is possible for anyone to make mistakes. This is part of his healing. Someone has mistreated us but we take revenge we hurt ourselves. He knows only he can heal himself 💓
This was a beautiful interview. You can tell they are friends, it's the flow of conversation. So many things stuck out to me but what really got me was when he spoke about the transition of his father and how he was able to say his peace and his final goodbye. It hit home for me cause when my mom transitioned, it was sudden but not completely unexpected but what I hold to my heart is although I didn't say goodbye but I spoke with her the night before and told her I love you mommy and she said, "I love you butterfly". I will hold that forever......
" a lack of understanding of the other person's perspective" SO beautifully said Will because at the core of relationships is COMMUNICATION. Whether it's professional or personal , Communication is a fundamental tool to a successful partnership and have God at the Center because God brought the 2 of you together, it's because of him that we actually meet . Most people think that it's luck, it's romance , it's coincidence but there is no such thing as a coincidence in Life !!! Purpose is what brings people together, and the Successful ones are those who pay attention to that detail
I find it so interesting how Will speaks, as you can see that the things he learned are the ones he obviously wants to point out but the actual teaching point ist not only verbally pointed out by him but his entire movement and one specific smile that goes with it. So you can actually see the revelations he had by his entire movement and happiness he has in presenting what he himself had to see(like actually understand to see)
Cool Moments Broken Calculator story at 01:42:00 Will Smith: You set a goal, but breaking a task down into smaller pieces was what I came out of my childhood with. My Dad = discipline. My mum = education. Grandma = love and service. Not a day went by, did she not help someone! Spiritual life is teaching you self worth without having low self-esteem Being in presence of Nelson Mandela made u realise how small you are, but how big you can become. Life is school. If someone in your family is sick, go figure it out. Will Smith is a sacred clown. He makes people laugh and helps them grow at the same time. Jay Shetty: We are programmed: life is for enjoyment but really life is for education Thanks for this interview Jay!
A very insightful and eye-opening interview with Will Smith. My favorite quote he said " was about the darkness of ignorance, forgetting the exact words. Spreading ignorance is having an emotional attachment to ignorance , like spreading a disease.
After watching this video, I will be writing a letter to my step dad who we recently lost. I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye properly or even thank him for everything he did for both my mum and I during the 30 years he was in my life. Thank you for sharing, so much life advice for everyone 🙏
@Veer_Mann_1986 Thank you, I really appreciate your message. I haven’t written that letter yet but you reminding me has come at such a fitting time. Thank you and take care 😊
"When you look in the broken mirror you gonna try to change your face to look good in a broken mirror" that's a front runner for all the insecurities we're battling in our society today. Self-esteem is a lifelong challenge that we need to keep winning in.
I can't help but get emotional with these. So authentic, Jay Shetty and his guest resonate so deeply with me. I am honestly so grateful and touched by the work he is doing!!!
Last night I dreamt of Will Smith, I didn't watch any films with him recently but he was in my dream, today I saw this on my feed - it was a sign to watch this and I am so happy I did. He is amazing.

The emotion and passion that Will expresses is present in his facial expressions and body language. He is quite possibly the most genuine person I know.
Cant believe how relatable this video is!! been going through a harder time recently battling with my own mind, weight gain, losing sight of how much ive achieved this year, getting my first pay raise.. i strongly believe the universe always gives you exactly what you need at the time you need it.. as long as you are making the effort yourself to become a better version of you and overcoming the negative thoughts with positive ones! Thank you so much!
FREE YOURSELF! ✨ “Ignorance and evil are twins” OMG yes 👏🏾 I love that law/ principle Will, you’re truly amazing and so inspiring every time you speak.
The more I look at this video the more I realize that Will is more mature than most people in his inner circle. I have loved this guy from the beginning with the Fresh Prince and his music. Yep that will not change. So, he made mistakes, at least he owns up to his. I'm taking some of his nuggets and applying them to my own life.
My Religious Studies scholarly heart is so grateful for this conversation. I look forward to meeting Uncle Will one day and have these indepth conversation 💚💚💚
This resonates with me on so many levels in regards for approval and self esteem. Will states, "We are looking in broken mirrors to feel pretty about ourselves. Let that person tell you of your inner qualities is a tragedy. To change your face to look good in a broken mirror." Wow!
I just came across this and watched it from start to finish and I’m just so in awe. This is one of my all time favourite interviews. So inspiring and motivating and just hearing this interview makes you want to be a better person. Thank you Jay for this!

Lvu man!❤ I was about to leave my country and move to Usa to compete and everybody around me has told me where are you going, what are you thinking, you won't win anything. Even my family has told me that... One night i have watched a video with Will who said " Fail every single day! Don't be scared of that ,that means you are trying and fighting for what u want! The best things in life happens on the other side of fear ! "Love you man and thank u for helping me be brave and inspired at the right time of my sport career ❤
I am so grateful there’s a space for conversations like this. where I come from I don’t get to hear many people talk like this and your shared experiences mean EVERYTHING to me not having those people to relate to in my everyday life.
Agreed. This just separated the wheat from the chaff. People who are truly in his corner from the sheep who go where the media leads them. With all the good this man has done for decades, he is allowed one emotional reaction.
Yep Will Smith definitely is the God of all things! I love his blatant cheeriness, his down-to-earth honesty, rawness and fearlessness. He makes being an open book seem so easy...but it clearly has taken him years to get to this point.
Blessings to Will Smith.🙏 Life had a lesson and the Universe poked him through his ego during the Oscars. His response needs to improve and it will do so when Will takes to his heart what he has learned from the sacred books. The sacred knowledge is not to remain in the intelect; it must take root and blossom in the heart. May he continue to purify his soul and realize his true self. Thanks for sharing this enlightening interview.
It's an incredible conversation. I've written down around two pages of thought based on what you were talking about. But my main thought: "If we have such a great people are talking in this way, we have a chance to move the world in a right direction". I'm so grateful for that talk. I'm sure, everyone will here what he needs to here right now. And I will be back to it and overhear again, because it's even deeper than I could understand it now. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

"Sometimes we look in a broken mirror to see our reflection" and "change our face to look good in the broken mirror "... (Wow! That is so deep Will!!)
After watching this I realize we all have a breaking point even when we work on being our best selves! 🙏🏽for Will.
And the people judging him really need to look in the mirror. They have things they are happy no one knows.
He slapped a guy, on stage, in front of millions of people and wasn’t even kicked out and went to collect his award like nothing happened
I hope he finds happiness

It's VERY interesting that i read this comment as SOON as he started saying. Thank U! God used u with this comment.

Jay: “The result of your activity is not under your control”
Will: “You can do everything “right” and it still go wrong in terms of outcome and you can do everything wrong and it still goes “right” in the outcome. The outcome is not connected to the quality of your behavior”
Because stereotypes, racism, and race privledge can affect the outcome.

This was a beautiful interview. You can tell they are friends, it's the flow of conversation. So many things stuck out to me but what really got me was when he spoke about the transition of his father and how he was able to say his peace and his final goodbye.
